The Way of the Generator

Being an Aries, I love doing things the first time. It’s always a thrill for me; I
always enjoy it. This is something I’ve looked forward to doing for a very long
time.
To Be Awake Is Normal
If my process had been different, and all those things are just illusions anyway,
but if my process had been different and I had been like you, a student of
Human Design, I probably would have dedicated the rest of my process to
working only with Generators. It’s basically my inclination almost all the time,
and for very practical reasons—I’m a very practical man—I know that to be
awake is a state that is supposed to be normal. I know it’s not special. I know
that it’s something that each and every one of us has a right to and that we are
all capable of.
And I realize the way in which the program works and the way in which life has
evolved on this planet, that there is no better potential to be able to make that
transformation but through Generators. For me, Generators are truly—and I
use this word carefully—they’re very holy beings for me. They’re like mysteries
inside of an egg. You don’t what you crack out, but you know at any moment
they can shatter the illusion that’s around them and they can be transformed.
Generators Can Be Transformed at Any Moment
And being a Manifestor and being somebody who likes to see things happen,
I can wait a long time for all kinds of people. But Generators, there is always a
part of me that knows that at any moment they can be transformed. These
are not beings that have to wait seven years to be awake. They truly can be
awake in 20 minutes. It’s simply a matter of the shattering that goes around
them.
So, for me, the Generator has an enormous potential to transform the world.
My joke about slaves and Generators, I know it so well. I know Generators so

well. It is my wisdom to know Generators better than anything else. I know

them deeply; I know what works in them.
What is clear to me is that there is magic for them in this life that nobody else
gets to participate in. It is this magic of transformation and truth that nobody
else can have. There is nothing like being a Generator because Generators
have access to the truth in the moment for them. And that is something that
is truly unique. It is something that is a tool for awakening and gives them the
capacity to remain awake because they have a place within them that will
never confuse them, that will never lie to them. It’s a remarkable thing.
“Respondability”
So, these two days, I’m going to take you through another way of looking at
what it is to be a Generator in a way that I can only do in a group that is only
Generators. This two-day program is going to be divided up into two things:
It’s going to be divided up in today which is about “respondability.” This is the
nature of the Sacral Center. It has the ability to respond, but it has nine
different kinds of ability to respond and each of them means something very
different in terms of what the relative truth is for that Generator.
The Secret Binaries
Tomorrow I’m going to work with you with the secret binaries, because Sacrals
cannot wake up alone. They’re not here to wake up alone. The most
dangerous thing of all for a Generator is to try to wake up alone. It is a
desperate, painful, horrible experience and can be deeply scarring to them.
Generators are not here to be alone.
So, that will be tomorrow’s stuff. Today we’re going to look at some technical
things about what it’s like, what it really means to be a Generator.

Three Quarters with Generator Gates
When you look at this illustration, there is something to notice. Those of you
that have had a background in Incarnation Crosses know that the Wheel is
divided up into four Quarters. You will notice that there is Sacral activation,

that is, Sacral Gates that are in three of the four Quarters. There is a Quarter
that’s missing. It’s the Quarter of Civilization that runs from the 2nd Gate and
goes all away around to the 7th Gate.
Three Themes for Generators
It means basically that there are three different themes for Sacral beings. And
there are three different themes in terms of responding, this respond-ability.
One of the things to really understand about the Sacral is that the Sacral not

only responds, but the response is conditioned through what it’s responding
to; that is, all the values connected to whatever the thing that’s coming at
them.
For example, if you’re a Sacral being and you have somebody ask you a
question that isn’t what you’re designed to respond to, you’re never going to
really be able to commit to that. There will always be a “uh-uh,” because what
you’re looking for is something to respond to that fits precisely into your mode.
What I want you to understand is that when you’re looking at your defined
Sacral and you’re looking at the Gates that are operating out of your defined
Sacral, particularly the defined Gates out of your defined Sacral, understand
that you’re going to be able to see, through this process, how all the decisions
you’re making are made.
The Sacral Is Not Intelligent
This is my point. I want you to understand that the Sacral is not intelligent;
remember that. It’s not intelligent. But what it is, is powerful. It is powerful in
its response and it is pure in its response, but relative to the vehicle through
which it is responding.
As we will see, there are three themes: You respond to be initiated, you respond
to find duality, you respond to mutate. There are three basic Sacral themes. If
you’re designed to respond to be initiated, you’re not going to go “uh-huh” to
anything that won’t initiate you. And if you’re designed to respond to duality,
you’re not going to respond to anything that isn’t going to bring you to that
duality, and it’s the same with mutation.
In other words, we have three very dynamic themes. You’ll also get to see,
because we’ll look at charts, that people are variations of these. You can have
many Gates out of an active Sacral, in which all of these themes start merging
together.
But I want you to begin to understand the power of the Sacral and the way it
responds. The first thing is to see so clearly in this illustration, because they’re
always bundled together, is it’s like they form the spokes of a wheel. And to

see that there are three ways that the Sacral goes: Initiation, Duality and
Mutation.

No Sacral Gates in the Quarter of
Civilization
The one Quarter that’s missing is the

Quarter of Civilization. And every single
Gate of the Throat is in that Quarter. In
other words, all the manifesting potential
is in the Quarter where there is no Sacral.
You can really understand why they’re
very different from each other.
Everything about manifesting is in the
Quarter of Civilization; there are no Sacral
Gates in that Quarter
The Magnetic Power of the Sacral Aura
When you’re looking at the nature of the Sacral, what I really want you to see
are two things. The most important thing is the magnetic power of the Sacral
aura. When I teach advanced courses in sexuality, I talk about the Sacral in
terms of the theme of availability. The Sacral has nine themes of availability.
That can be availability in the sexual sense, but it’s also about the availability to
the other. Remember, everything about being Sacral, because you’re here to
respond, is ultimately about the other. And it doesn’t have to be personalized.
It’s whatever that’s on the outside that you’re going to be able to respond to.
Think about the power of the Sacral. I have absolutely no activations in the
Sacral, I have a totally open Sacral. Every Sacral being in my life does this to
me; I can’t escape it. And Sacral beings don’t understand that. If they really
understood the attractive power of that Sacral Center, they would never
manifest. It’s a waste. You’re pulling everything to you, which means you’re
pulling the opportunity of response to you. It’s always being pulled to you.

But it’s being pulled to you very specifically. It’s being pulled to your themes.
It’s being pulled to your theme of what you’re going to respond to. That’s
where you’re available, that’s where you’re designed to respond. And that is
the condition upon which you’re going to live your life.
The Sacral World of Frustration
I love Generators. I understand the magic that is there in them. It’s just an
obvious thing. But the reality is that their minds are the great garbage cans of
the world, because you have to understand something about the Sacral. The
Sacral says, “I’m available over here, this is where I’m designed to respond.”
And the mind says, “No, I want to be over there. I don’t want to respond to that.
I don’t want everything that I say ‘yes’ to, to be about this and this direction”
because mind is in there saying, “I could do this, this and this.” When they’re
going through all that, they end up being, what all Sacral beings end up being,
is deeply, deeply frustrated, and ready to quit. Quit their relationships, their
jobs, their city, their life. “I’ve had enough, I’m exhausted.”
I live in the Sacral world of frustration and I don’t like it. I amplify it. When a
not-self Generator steps into my aura, it is not pleasant. It smells of frustration,
it smells of suffering. I know that pain. I live it out as an amplification.
Before I had this knowledge it was a torment for me because that’s not me. I
don’t suffer. I’m not frustrated. And that’s what’s out there. And all of that
comes back to the mind, and the mind gets in the way and says, “Yes, yes, yes,
but I want this, I need to do that, I have to do this, I have to do that. It’s all very
nice, it’s all going to come to me, but I don’t believe in it. In the meantime I
have to go make a living.”
Surrender to the Experiment
Until you get to the point where you surrender to the experiment, you’re only
going to begin to discover what is really there for you. The Sacral, more than
any other force, specifically gives it to you. It’s laid out for you. All you have to
do is surrender to it, and it will just give it to you because the tracks are laid.

All you have to do is recognize that that force in you is pulling everything to
you to respond to and that the cleaner you are in your experiment of being a
Sacral being, you’ll see what gets streamed at you is precisely what you’re to
respond to, not what you’re chasing after like a horse with blinders on and
you’re seeing nothing.
I’ve had 15 years of esoteric spiritual people and I’m sick and tired of all of them.
I really am. Surrender is so natural. Every Sacral being can be a surrendered
person like that. It’s not about climbing some bloody mountain and doing
mantras. It’s so simple.
But it means that you have to accept that you, who you think is you has no idea
what’s good for you, what’s right for you, what will work for you. You’re only
going to know when you respond. And you’re always going to respond to what
is correct for you to respond to, so you get your life. Otherwise, you get nothing
but pain and suffering that most people take to the grave because 70% of
world are Generators. What a planet!
No wonder the theme of this planet is suffering because there is all of this
incredible suffering amongst the most powerful beings on the planet. You
have to surrender. It means you have to surrender in the sense of not allowing
your mind to interfere at the beginning of your process with your experiment
at being you.
The Mind Is Your Greatest Enemy
I’ll show you what the themes are, but in the end, you have to see that the
greatest enemy you have is your mind, because your mind hates your Sacral.
It hates it. “How dare you, you grunting, groaning thing have control over my
life. Here I am with my vocabulary, my education, and my wonderful
knowledge, and here is this, “uh-uh” telling me what to do.”
The mind wins most of the time because that’s the way you’ve been
conditioned. You’ve been conditioned to believe that what you think is what
is correct for you, and that what you think is how you’re supposed to live your
life. And it’s all a lie—your mind isn’t going to accept that lie until your Sacral is
living your life for you, and not your mind.

And your mind will be in there screaming; it doesn’t stop. It’s not like your mind
is going to surrender to your Sacral and say, “Oh, isn’t it nice to be awake!” It
doesn’t do that. It says, “You’re being an idiot, look at the rest of the planet.
They’re all running around like crazy; you should be doing that, too.” Because
that’s the mind. Your greatest battle is with the mind.

Sacral Beings Have to Work
The Sacral is about work. It’s why I call Generator slaves; they’re workers. Sacral
beings have to have work. They have to be able to use their energy. They have
to use their energy effectively. They have to live through their work. Everything
about Sacral beings is about work.
Think about the horror of life when you do not work the work that’s for you.
Think about the horror of life of being busy working at something that you
don’t like and don’t enjoy, and it’s not for you; it’s a horror. Because everything
about a Sacral being is about the beauty that’s possible for them in doing what
feels correct for them to do. That they use their energy properly, that they use
their energy efficiently. It’s about work.
Are You Ready?
I have a joke, a trick, that I did for years when I was doing readings. A person
would sit down beside me and sort of try to get comfortable. And before I
would turn on the recording machinery, I would say, “Are you ready?” Most of
the people that come to me are designed to respond in one way or another.
When I met the Voice, the first thing the Voice said to me, “Are you ready to
work?” So, are you ready? I’ll take you through.

Quarter of Initiation

One Definition Out of the Sacral
We’re going to start over here at the beginning of the story, in the Quarter of
Initiation. We have three Gates that are there: The 42nd, the 3rd, and the 27th
Gate. The first thing I want you to understand is that if you have a definition
out of your Sacral—you all have definitions out of your Sacral—if you have only
one way in which your Sacral is defined, the Gate out of the Sacral that defines
that truly is your theme for responding.

As you’ll see in the afternoon when we look at mixes of charts, you’ll see that
they are combinations. But I want you to pay particular attention, if your Sacral
is defined by a single Gate—it doesn’t matter if you have other activations—if
there is only a single activation, a single definition that makes your Sacral
active, then it’s very easy for you to see what your real respondability key is.
If you have multiple definitions out of the Sacral, I’ll show that you have to bring
those themes together and you have to see them as a combination theme that
you’re responding to, rather than a single dynamic theme that you’re
responding to.
For example, if we start with the 42nd Gate, if you’re somebody that has the
format energy, the 42 to the 53, the Sacral to the Root Center, that’s the
definition that defines your Sacral Center, then what I’m about to describe to
you as your availability, respondability theme, this is really your Sacral theme
and the way in which the Sacral is going to drive you to what is you.

Gate 42
Think about the 42 Gate. It is about the capacity to

complete things, to bring things to an end. Now, the whole
thing about bringing things to an end is that obviously you
have to have a beginning. Everything about a Sacral being
who has the 42nd Gate is somebody who is not going to
agree to do anything with their Sacral energy unless what
they’re entering into can finish.
In other words, they will not enter into something that doesn’t have the
potential to go through a complete cycle. And they’re only going to be
available to those who need somebody or needs that energy to be committed
to completing something through its whole cycle.
Saying Yes to Finishing Something
In other words, if you’re a Sacral being and you have the 42nd Gate, every time
you’re responding positively to something—you’re correct, they’re asking you,
and you’re responding—every time you’re going “uh-huh,” every time you’re

responding positively, what your Sacral is actually doing is it’s saying, “What
you’re really saying yes to is that you’re saying yes to staying with something
and finishing it. And the only reason you’re saying yes is that it’s possible to
finish this thing. Otherwise, there is no reason to get in there.
So, if somebody comes up to a Sacral being who has the 42nd Gate and they’re
not offering them anything to be a beginning, that it doesn’t have that quality
that the Sacral will recognize as being something you go through a whole
cycle, it will go “no.”
And it’s situations like this where you see the mind come in. Think about what
that’s like. You’re a Sacral being, you’re waiting to do something, there is
somebody there and they’re offering you something, and what they’re offering
sounds like a good beginning. After all, you’re a 42, you need a beginning to
get to the end. It sounds like a good beginning, it sounds right, they respect
you, they’re offering you money, and your Sacral is going “Uh-uh.”
And the mind jumps in and says, “Wait a minute. What’s with this ‘uh-uh’?”
And the Sacral can’t answer the mind. And the mind says, “Well, this is silly.
This is a real chance for us. And if we don’t take this chance, we’re going to
miss it.”
So, the first thing they do is they jump into that. The mind rules, and they go
into that and they try, and of course, it isn’t going to lead to an end. And there
are all kinds of problems and they get very depressed.
Three Gates of Potential Depression
The three Sacral Gates that point down to the Root Center are
Gates of potential depression. The 42nd Gate gets deeply
depressed when it cannot see the potential to bring things
completely through a cycle. Imagine the suffering of Sacral
beings who are designed to only enter into things that they
can complete, and they don’t.
Think about how their life feels and think about the frustration because they
end up having to quit. If you’re a 42nd being and you enter into a relationship,

it’s forever. That is, if you enter into it correctly. If you don’t enter into it
correctly, it’s not going to be forever at all, and you’re really going to suffer
because you’re designed to be in it forever, to its completion, to its fulfillment.
It doesn’t necessarily mean all time; you can have a seven year relationship
that’s complete within its cycle.
But it is about only entering into what’s correct, and it’s not a mental decision.
It’s the way the person is designed. They’re designed to attract people as
availability. “I’m available for long-term projects. I’m available for long-term
projects.” That’s what the Sacral is saying “I’m available; I’m available, but only
for long-term projects.” They’re going to attract people who say, “I’ve got this
long-term project for you.” And then they go, “uh-huh.”
The Sacral Pulls Others to Its Availability
The moment that they don’t realize that’s them—this power of the Sacral to
pull, it pulls you to its availability. That’s why it’s so sexual. It’s pulling you to its
availability. I avoid 42’s. “I’m available; I love you.”
The 42 says, “I’m available to do the whole thing, go the whole way. The whole
nine yards. I’m going to do the whole thing.” If you’re really a Sacral being and
you’re not running around looking for that life-long work and that life-long
lover and that life-long whatever it is, if you’re not looking for it, if you just let
your Sacral go, “I’m available; I’m available,” you get it.
Not only will you get it, but Sacral beings don’t know what it’s like to get their
own terms. As long as they’re playing Manifestors, they’re always
compromising, they’re always getting a bit of what they want instead of what’s
right for them.
And just because you’re a 42 and you’re going “I’m available for the long term,”
doesn’t mean everybody responds to that, is attracted to that, is going to offer
you specifically what’s right for you. It just simply means it’s going to be
correct and you’re going to get the select “uh-uh, uh-uh-, uh-huh,” and away
you go. It’s magic.
But until the Sacral being recognizes its power—the slave that breaks the
chains—until you realize how powerful you are and that whatever your theme

is, that’s what you’re always pulling. And to recognize that the moment you
understand that’s what you’re doing, that you’re pulling through those various
themes, you can see who you pull, and you can get your terms.
When they come to you—I know, I’m a Manifestor, I have to go to everything,

I know the power of the Generators have to go “uh-uh.” They have a much
greater power than me. I have to go to them and it’s up to them whether they
say yes or no; that’s a lot of power. I understand that. I wish to hell they would
understand that so they could see their power and their beauty and the way it
works. You’re always calling what is correct for you. Stop looking and let it
come to you.

Three Initiation Gates

Think about this Quarter where these three Gates are. It’s the Quarter of
Initiation. It says that there are three forms of initiation that can truly only
come from Generators. One of the first initiations that the Generator brings,
the 42, is the potential to go through the complete process. The 42-53 is the
format energy for the life process of humans.
At the very basis of the life process for humanity, to go through correctly the
life process, this is the initiation. The first Sacral initiation is to be able to go
through the life process correctly in order to complete your existence. In other
words, to be able to go through the whole thing and not get to the end and
say, “Ah, it was terrible and it’s time to go.”
Gate 42: Life Can Be Correct
To be able to really see the first initiation, the first true initiation is the
recognition that life is something that can be correct. That life does not have
to be frustrating, that life is not something where you’re always in torment and
you always have to quit and be frustrated. That life is here to be beautiful. That
to move through life without resistance is to recognize its perfection. This is
the first initiation of the Generator.
It says the only way is that you have to go through the whole process, but as
yourself. These three Gates of Initiation, the 42, the 3, and the 27 are Sacral
initiators. This is where their most powerful potential as builders comes from.
That is, when they stop being slaves.
It’s through these three themes in these first three Gates of the Sacral in this
Quarter that they bring real initiation to this planet, because they bring in very,
very specific themes. The first one we’ve seen. That is, Generators are designed
to be available for the complete process, they’re designed for that.
That’s what they’re here to let us know. Life is a complete process. You have
to go through the whole thing, you have to go through the whole thing
correctly, you have to grow up, you have to become mature. You have to make
love. You have to have children; you have to go through the whole process.
There is all this stuff, and it’s all laid out for you; and to do it correctly.

The 3rd Gate: Available to Have Difficulty in a Mutation
When we get to the 3rd Gate, we get to one of the most violent
mutative Gates we have. Think about somebody who is a
Sacral being and their theme of being a Sacral being is
through this 3-60 format energy of Individuality and mutation.
What it means for them is that every time they go “Uh-uh” to

something, think about what they’re actually saying “yes” to.
They’re saying, “I’m available to have difficulty in the beginning
in a mutation.” Think about that. “I’m available to go through
a really, really strange process in order to get to something
new. And I’m not going to be available if you don’t offer me a
strange process in which I can get something new. So, if you come to me and
give me some old ho-hum collective junk, I’m going to go ‘uh-uh.’”
Afraid of Being Different
The not-self that carries Individuality doesn’t like being

a freak. The Sacral being with the 3rd Gate is afraid of
being different. They know the chaos of saying yes to
the mutative, and everything around them looks so
stable. The Collective always looks so stable, so logical.
It’s all laid out.
And here is this shaky ground they have to stand on

and their mind comes in and says, “What do you mean
saying yes to that? You don’t even know it’s going to happen. You don’t know
where that’s going to lead to. It’s going to create a lot of problems. Why don’t
we just do what they’re doing? Let’s go along with rest of the Collective.”
The Deepest Sacral Depression
And do you know what you get? You get the deepest Sacral depression of all,
Sacral depression multiplied by the chemistry of melancholy that runs through
every Individual, a deep sadness that goes even deeper. It actually carries
within it a quiet rage that life is dull and boring and useless.

These are the people that end up saying, “That’s just junk. Look at it, it’s the
same shit over and over again, forever.” And they’re actually here to bring us
the new, and they spend their whole lives rejecting it, because the mind gets
in the way. The mind doesn’t think it’s a good idea to be involved with
something which you have no idea where it’s going. The mind doesn’t like that;
it’s frightening.
These Sacral beings that come in that have this 3rd Gate theme have to
understand that there are things that come to them in this life, that there is no
way that their mind is ever going to understand what’s being offered to them.
And why there is a place inside of them going, “Uh-huh; uh-huh; uh-huh.” They
don’t get it.
Saying Yes to Waiting
Because when you’re dealing with a 3rd Line mutation, it doesn’t just happen
in the moment you go, “uh-huh.” Mutation is a funny thing. When you say yes
to mutation, what you’re saying is yes to waiting. That’s the greatest part of
the Difficulty at the Beginning because the mutation suddenly shows up. But
if you’re a 3rd Gate being and you enter into anything correctly as a Generator,
what you’ll discover is you’re never going to be bored ever again.
Your friends, your children, your family might have problems with you, but
you’re never going to be bored again. You’re going to see what you’re here for.
That 3rd Gate person is saying, “I’m only available for mutation, I’m only available
for mutation. Don’t come to me with anything that is old hat. I’m only available
for mutation.”
That’s their magic. The moment they discover what it is to be them, guess
what they get. They get all these offers of mutation. “Would you like to try
this? Would you like to try something really strange?” And they’re not
depressed.
We’re Not in Charge
And it’s just about allowing the program to work. We are small little creatures,
we’re not in charge of anything. If you’re a Sacral being, you have to grasp this

that you’re not in charge of your life. Forget all your illusions about all that. It’s
not what you decide or what you think, it never has been and never will be.
But all Sacral beings have the opportunity of being purely themselves, and you
have to see that’s what you’re doing. With every breath you take, you’re calling
with that Sacral. You call so loud it’s incredible. Sometimes I have to block my
ears, because they’re going (grinding sound), the Sacral calling.
And of course, the mind is up there thinking, “Nobody sees us. Nobody knows
we’re here; we’d better go find them.” And all the time there is this incredible
call, and this 3rd Gate person goes (with a sigh), “I’m calling mutation, I’m
calling. I’m available for mutation. I can do incredible things. I’m waiting for
my opportunity,” and all they have to do is be themselves and it will come. You
don’t have to believe that; please, you really have to see that. You don’t have
to believe that, you really live it, it’s that simple. All you have to do is live out
what it is to be a Generator; nothing else.
Using the Sacral as the Mind
Then you get to see your theme is calling and it becomes very funny, because
you only get certain kinds of people and they only come in certain kinds of
ways. And you begin to see the pattern and you begin to understand what
you’re here for. You begin to see your real power, and then you can pick and
choose.
“This will be a better mutation than this one.” And you can use the Sacral as
the mind. This is your Sacral. But the moment you’re living your nature, you’re
knowing that every offer you’re getting is correct at some level, because you’ve
pulled it. And you will see there is an instrument inside of you that just simply
knows. It knows because that’s its business. “We only work this way, so we’re
only going to take it in this way.” As long as you get the mind out of the way,
you get to live out the power and you get to see what it’s like.
By the way, it’s one of those things about the whole esoteric trip. If you’re a 3rd
Line person and you’re a Sacral and you’re a 3rd Gate and you’re calling people
to mutation doesn’t mean it’s always going to work. You’ve got to understand
that. This is not about saying your life is going to be more successful or less

successful, or this or that. Every experience has its own values. What is
essential for you is that you get the experiences that are right for you.
It’s like me talking about people who have a 3rd Line in their Profile and telling
them they have to be in relationships that are right that go wrong. But if
they’re right and they go wrong, it’s ok. But if they’re wrong and they go wrong
it’s awful.
Getting What’s Right for You
The whole thing to understand about being a Sacral being, this is no panacea.
Stupid before enlightenment, stupid after enlightenment. What it really
means is you get what’s right for you. If you’re a Sacral being and you live out
what’s right for you, you will know it. I don’t have to tell you.
You’ll know how beautiful that feels, how secure you feel, how the burdens
have been lifted away from you because you don’t have to carry the weight.
There is no weight to carry. There is just a road to move down; that’s all. And
every Sacral being has their pathway. And they have their absolute purity in
response. So, when you live that out you get to see it. You get to see that’s
quite entertaining.

Gate 27
I want to keep this theme of initiation, and that

takes us to the 27th Gate. Think about what we’re
really describing here. The Generator is the source
of all life on this planet. It’s out of the Sacral Center
that all life comes into this world. This is the fertile
center.
When you’re looking at these three Gates, you’re looking at a Collective Gate,
an Individual Gate, and a Tribal Gate. You’re looking at three forms of initiation.
You’re looking at the physical initiation of the life process, that you see the 42nd
Gate, that is, the world of Solomon. Solomon’s world is there’s nothing new
under the sun. That’s the Collective. The Collective doesn’t want anything to

do with under the sun because the Collective wants to have a reliable way for
this life.
The Initiation of Awareness
So, you have the Collective process of the Sacral that initiates the whole life
chain. That’s out of the 42. You have the Individual initiation out of the Sacral
that really starts anything that’s new, that brings the real mutation into the
change of direction and life. And then you have the third one, and the third
one is the initiation of awareness. It’s all about awareness.
The 27-50, as a Channel, the connection

between the Sacral and the Splenic
System, this Channel is very significant.
The 50th Gate is the Gate out of which all
awareness emerges, whether we’re going
to call that understanding, making sense
out of things, or knowing. All of that is born out of the Spleen.
The 27th Gate is the Gate of Caring and Nourishment. But don’t be confused
about that, it’s not about the nourishment of the body. Nourishment of the
body is in the 19th Gate. It’s not about the nourishment of the body, it is the
nourishment of awareness. It is the initiation of awareness in those that are
nurtured.
The Awareness of Mothers
It’s why I love to teach mothers. Oh, how I love to teach mothers. I get to their
children. The greatest responsibility on this planet is to be a mother. There is
no greater responsibly on this planet. When you think about the fact that half
the women that are born in this world are not allowed to be educated, what
kind of horror that is for the future. The greatest pain that is here in the world
is the denial of education to women, because this is where the magic begins.
The awareness you get from your mother, the nurturing of your awareness that
you get from your mother is what changes the world. Not the yang, male,
bursting through doors, not the yang male standing on a hilltop saying, “Listen
to me, listen to me,” and then they end up crucifying them. It’s not about that.

It’s all the mothers that were there listening, that taught their children, that
created a new consciousness. It’s how consciousness works.
So, one of the things to understand about the Sacral Center is it has one of the
most important roles in what it is to be human. And that role is you don’t just
bring life into the world, but you nurture its awareness. The best thing about
Human Design for me personally is my capacity to nurture awareness in my
children. They’re different human beings because of that. They have different
lives because of that. They have a capacity to live in the world that is truly
unique. The greatest gift for me was that I was able to nurture this in my
children. It’s what it’s all about.
The 27th Gate: Available Only to Nurture Awareness
They don’t have to be deconditioned because they’re not being conditioned.

So, when you see somebody who comes into the world with the 27th Gate as
their key in the Sacral Center, you have to see what their initiation is all about.
They’re available only to nurture awareness.
So, if you come up to them, and there is no potential for them to nourish
awareness, they’re going to go, “uh-uh,” because that’s what they’re about.
They’re about making sure that the greatest gift of the tribe is that the tribe is
aware, that the children are aware, that they’re educated, and educated
properly, and with all of those things that come with it. It is the deepest
responsibility that is there in that Gate.
Now think about all the 27s on this planet, and God knows I know a lot of them,
who don’t live out their Sacral nature. Their children miss out on the whole
thing. They end up going through the same conditioning and end up being
just as messed up as their parents. And we need every 27.
Every 27 that wakes up, what becomes their natural process in life is that they
do take responsibility to nurture awareness because that’s what they’re
available for. It’s not about just nourishing them by saying, “Ok, we’re going to
put this on you and protect you from the rain,” it’s the nurturing of the soul. It’s
the nurturing of the inner being. It’s the awakening of the power of awareness,
to transcend our basic fears, to go beyond the animal to finally get to the point
of surrender.

These three Gates, they’re magical. This is the whole life story because the
Generator is life. When you begin to honor what power you have inside of you
and you begin to see what the true responsibility of the Generator is, it’s not to
think about all those things, it’s to live out what is correct for you because out
of that comes all of those properties. The 27 that is correct in their capacity to
be a Generator, are natural nurtures of other’s awareness, and that’s their job.
A Deep Fertile Well
And in doing so, and in living that out, they’re going to be fulfilled. Their energy
is going to be used correctly. They’re not going to be frustrated, they’re not
going to quit. They’re going to have a life that is complete, and they’re going
to be, most important of all, what the Sacral represents, a deep fertile well. The
fertility in those nine Gates, its capacity out of which all things can grow, this is
where the builder comes from. This incredible capacity for fertility that is there.
Any one of those three Gates liberated as true Generators have a greater
impact on the outside world than anything you could possibly imagine.
Because that’s what they’re designed for, that’s what their power is all about.
And they’ll do it until they die. That’s their gift.

Women’s Education
This is a personal note. There are very few things in my life that ever attracted
me to be directly charitable. I support, foster a child, a little girl in Southeast
Asia so she can have an education. It’s not expensive. It’s one of those things
that if you think about it, it costs me about 3 or 4 packages of cigarettes a
month. I get to educate at least one little girl somewhere in the world that
otherwise wouldn’t get an education.
If you’re ever thinking about doing anything charitable, please consider

supporting the education of women in the Third World. It’s one of the most
valuable things that you can do as a contribution to society as a whole because
each and every one of those women are going to be able to pass that on.

Illiteracy amongst women is extraordinarily high, and all that because

obviously the male will not allow her power. The reality is that the only way you
can do anything about that, unfortunately, is just by using money.
So, there is a way that a lot of these young women can get an opportunity to
get an education to at least be able to read and to write, which is one of the
most important things. There really is a tremendous lack of that on the planet.
If I could make up a pitch for helping people in this world, that’s something you
can do that really is worthwhile. It’s a wonderful thing to be able to contribute
to somebody’s education.

The Quarter of Duality
We come to the second variation of Sacral themes, and we come to these two
Gates beside each other: The 29th and the 59th Gates. We’re in the Quarter of

Duality. The nature of the Quarter of Duality is one of the basic themes of the
Generator. One of the basic themes of the Generator, as you’ll see tomorrow
when I talk about binaries and how you need to work with the other to be
awake, is to see that one of the most basic fundamental things for the
Generator is the nature of its relationship.
There is nothing more important to the Generator than that relationship. First
of all, because it carries fertility, which means that its ultimate role in this life is
that life itself is meant to generate more, to keep on regenerating, to give birth
to more, and so forth and so on.
The Bond Is Everything
So, this deep fertility is fulfilled through a bond. Everything about the Quarter
of Duality is about the bond, and the bond means everything. Again, if you
don’t enter into a relationship correctly as yourself, you’re always, as a
Generator, going to be frustrated. You can only see that the real Authority
within you, the Sacral within you according to its nature, will know what is right
for you if you will allow it.
Gate 29
And everything about the way in which life works is a

binary. It’s like the 29th Gate, it’s an incredible Gate. It’s
the Gate of saying “Yes.” It sits there in the Sacral Center
and says, “I’m available to make a commitment.” That’s
often deeply misunderstood. It’s misunderstood sexually.
In other words, the Sacral is always pulling, so it can
always give off that vibration, “I’m available to say yes,” but
say yes to what?
Saying Yes to Discovery
It’s to say yes to discovery. And everything about a 29th Gate being is that their
life is either going to be made up of successes or failures. Because that’s the
Channel of Succeeding where others Fail or failing where others succeed. This
is the human experiential way. The only way we fulfill ourselves in life is
through our bonds with the other. It’s everything.

This is the great teaching of the 29th Gate, because when the 29th Gate is
correct, it’s not saying yes to everything. It’s saying yes to discovery. And I want
you to understand something about discovery, it’s not the same as learning.
It’s totally different. Learning is a process that you go through, you say yes, and
then step by step by step you learn.
So, let’s say that your Sacral is ruling your life and suddenly somebody comes
up to you and says they really want to be with you, and the Sacral goes, “Uh-
huh.” Now, it’s not that that relationship is going to be a learning relationship.
If you’re watching that relationship every step you go along the way, you’re
going to be frustrated because that’s not why you’re there. You’re there to
discover out of the relationship.
In other words, the relationship simply becomes a vehicle for discovery. And
you only get to appreciate the relationship from hindsight when you look back.
It’s very difficult for 29s to understand that a relationship with somebody is
geometry and not an idea.
Two Kinds of Bonding
I had a joke for years: If you wake up in the morning and keep seeing the same
person, it must be love. It’s just the geometry and we have no control over the
geometry. And one of the first laws of the bond is that this is the only place
where you see the Sacral and its bonding; please understand that this is the
key to all bonding. You have two kinds of bonding. One says, “I want nothing
but intimacy.” And you have the other one that says, “Ok, I’ll take the ride with
you, let’s see what happens.” That’s the 29. That’s the perfection of the 29
Sacral.
“I’ll take the ride with you; let’s see what happens.” Not, “I’m going to watch
every moment,” not, “I’m going to judge every moment,” because that’s not
how the abstract works. The abstract is deeply existential. You don’t discover
until it happens, and you only notice it after.
The whole thing about people who carry the 29th Gate who don’t enter into
their relationships correctly, who are not surrendered to the geometry is that
they’re always looking at the relationship and saying, “Where’s the discovery?

There is something missing. Where is it?” And then they get frustrated and
want out. And they’ll say, “Well, I’ll say yes to something else.”
The Right Geometry
If you’re a Sacral being and you’re correct, it’s not about your relationship with
your partner. It’s about the geometry you share in life. That’s very different.
And out of that, you discover why you were together in the first place. Not any
concept of “I want this one; I need this one; why or why not.” It’s the trip.
If you’re a Sacral being and you have the 29th Gate and you enter into a
relationship correctly, what you get is the right geometry. You get to discover.
And out of that discovery you get success from the relationship. It’s very hard
to explain that to a Sacral being who wants to be in love, who wants to think
love, who falls into all the propaganda about how to look at a relationship or
not.
Surrendering to the Decision
The one thing that Design has taught me about relationships is that I just let
go and see what happens. It’s a flow. It’s a movement. It’s a ride. The moment
you allow the forces to rule, you’ll see why you’re with somebody. You will see
the beauty in that bond. You’ll see how all of that works. But it’s surrender to
the decision.
The whole thing about being Sacral is that you can know the truth. But the
moment you truly trust in your Sacral and somebody says to do, “Do you love
me?” and you go, “Uh-huh,” it’s ok, take the ride. Just take the ride.
Your mind might scream inside and say, “I don’t know where you’re going…”
And your mind will wake up some morning and say, “Where are we going?
Where is this leading?” But if you really live out what it is to be you as a Sacral
being in that Gate, you’ll see the geometry will take you to the discovery.
Discover How to Succeed in Life
And you discover something else. You discover how to really succeed in life.
My life would be empty without being able to have those in my life that I can

love and care about. It would be empty; and it’s true for all of us. And to have
the right relationships, to be correct within yourself, to know it’s right for you
to be someplace.
Remember it’s not good or bad. You can’t be in one of these bodies and not
suffer pain. It’s what it’s all about. But it’s about knowing deep within yourself
that when you travel down the line with somebody that the line is correct, and
then it’s all ok.
It’s very difficult for 29th Gate beings because they really have to be
surrendered. They really simply have to accept and wait to see. And while
they’re waiting to see, they ride the line. It’s about riding that line with grace.
That’s what life is. Life is discovery, it’s not learning. Everybody wants to learn
things in life; forget it. That’s not life; life is discovery. All of a sudden, it’s there,
“I get it.” And usually, it’s in looking back.
Surrendering to the Bond
It’s the same thing for what it is to bond the 29 way. Remember with the 29th
Gate you’re dealing with the abstract process, you’re dealing with the human
experiential way. You’re dealing with the way it’s meant to be for us. We’re
meant to bond as surrendered lovers, as surrendered friends, as surrendered
companions and let the line take us to where we have to go.
In that way you really get to see what is there for you. And you get to discover
something so special. There is no meaning to life without yin and the yang
together. There is none. That’s part of our experiment, our journey in this life.
And not to suffer from it. I’ve dealt with thousands and thousands of people
with relationship problems, it’s endless. And if you’re correct it’s not, it’s easy,
because you get what’s right for you.

The 29: The Arranged Marriage
The Sacral is part of civilization, so civilization keeps roaring along. As

civilization has matured, it’s made it more and more difficult for the 29 to be
comfortable in the world. I want you to think about something very basic. Built
into the program is only two ways that we bond. One way was the way that

was common everywhere, it was called the arranged marriage. The elders in
the tribe would decide which male and which female would come together.
This is the 29 way, this is the arranged marriage.
And you can see it in a cosmic sense. You don’t have to see it anymore in the
direct intervention of humans, in that sense, the elders’ society. You have to
understand what it’s about. Those beings that were brought together in that
way, to live their life together, to make love, to have children, to go through the
whole process, they weren’t in love. And do you know what they discovered?
When they went through that whole process, wow, they couldn’t have done it
without each other, and discovered they have a special relationship to each
other.
The 59th Gate: Always about Love
Those days of arranged marriages are gone,

unfortunately. But that’s what the 29 is all
about. It’s not the 59—the 59 is always about
love. And it’s always about love for only one
thing: Make love with somebody who is
totally different genetically so you can keep
things going. It’s the safety valve of the tribe.
The safety valve of the tribe is if we don’t
bring in fresh blood, we have a problem. So you can’t go with the arranged
marriage; you have to see the one that’s on the outside and fall in love with it
and desperately go get it.
Geometry Is Perfect
We have these two ways. And this is the whole key to understanding bonding.
So, if you’re a 29 and love comes to you, the invitation, the question, and you
go “Uh-huh,” what you really have to see is that’s your arranged marriage. You
don’t know whether you’re in love and you don’t know if it will really work. And
you don’t know if it’s right. And if you think about it all the time, it will drive you
crazy. But if you just live your life with the other, you will discover that’s the
whole process. And in the end, what you discover is something very magical.
Geometry is perfect.

And it’s all about surrender. If you’re correct, what you get to see is that you
become fulfilled. It’s not about what your mind thinks. It’s not about a
propaganda that’s laid out. It’s about the reality of what it means to travel
down a road with another being, to discover what it is to be the beast with two
backs. What does that mean? What is that like? What do we become? What
does it mean to bring children into the world? All of those things that you
discover along the way.
The True Human Way
That’s what the 29 is about, and that’s the human way; it’s the true human way.
One day we’ll get to a point on this planet where who you are bonded to is
simply correct, and then all of this Hollywood nonsense will disappear. You
think everybody is looking for love; they’re only looking for love because they
haven’t entered into love correctly as themselves.
If you’re not correct within yourself, you’re not going to love yourself. And if you
can’t love yourself, you’re never ever truly want to be in love with anybody.
Being correct means that what you bring to your life, what moves through your
life is correct for you. And we are here to bond, it’s the most essential thing for
us as humans. It’s not about all our concepts about what bonds are supposed
to mean. It’s about discovering the right bond and then seeing what it is and
watch its movie. It takes time, years, and years, but that’s its magic. It’s the
human way.
The 29 is directly out of the 42. The energy that crosses into
that Sacral goes straight to the 29 and says, “If you’re
following your geometry, the path that you will follow will
take you through your whole cycle, and you will get to
discover at the end of that cycle that you’ll be able to look
back and say, “Weren’t we lucky what happened to us. I
didn’t expect that.”
A Transcendent Love
The whole point is to live it. If you’re a Sacral being, once you make a
commitment, you’re here to live it, not question it. You don’t know what the

answer is; that’s its magic. And out of that comes a transcendent love, a much
deeper love. A love that accepts the grace of the forces.
I wrote a song years ago called You and Love and Me. There is this other force
that bonds us together. It’s not the me and the other. It’s the me and the other
and it, and it’s that ‘it’ that is so magical. You only get to that ‘it’ as yourself,
surrendered as yourself, accepting what it is to be you, and then go for the ride
and get to see the magic.
I’m waiting for the day where I can see awake couples. I’ve seen awake
individuals now in my work. I’m waiting to see awake couples because that’s
where you really take the next step. It’s the binary that matters. It has to be
the yin and the yang.
The moment that you’re in a relationship with yourself, with somebody who is
also themselves, it is so much easier to be with the other. There is no need to
change, there is nothing to change. You’re not here to be changed, they’re not
here to be changed. What you have is a geometry and you get to explore it.
It’s the real beauty that’s possible for us.

Surrender to Life
The 29th Gate embodies a central truth of life. That central truth
of life is that life is about making the commitment, and nothing
more. It’s a making a commitment to a very basic thing:
surrender. The 29th Gate is The Abysmal. It’s this deep, dark
place.
And the 46th Gate is Pushing Upward into the kingdom of

heaven. This is the movement. And it’s the discovery that
comes along the way, but there is nothing to discover unless
you’ve surrendered because it’s all existential. Life is just going
on. It’s about surrendering to the life process.
Again, you can’t do that as a concept. You can only do that when you enter
into it correctly. The moment you enter into it correctly as a Sacral being and

you make that commitment, that’s the moment you have to let go so you can
get to the pushing upward, so you can get to the discovery.
Just Do It
And it’s not just about relationships, though that is a dynamic theme because
this is the Quarter of Duality, it’s about everything the 29 gets into. The
moment that you make that commitment and say yes to something, just do
it. When it’s over, look at it. The wedding anniversary was invented by 29s.
Once a year they look back and say, “Let’s look at the pictures. Little Johnny
got bigger. Oh, we had that terrible….” This is what it’s all about.
It’s not about being in the middle of it and saying, “Oh my God, what am I going
to do?” That’s not what it’s about because that’s the moment you get stuck as
a Generator, and that’s the moment that the frustration comes in. The
moment that there is a touch of frustration that comes in, the mind jumps on
it, and it jumps on it fast. “Are you frustrated? See, you’re suffering, aren’t you?
Let’s do something else. Let’s make another commitment to something else.
We can get what we want now.” It’s all a concept.
Life Happens
For me, it’s very simple. Life happens. It really does; it happens. Who you’re
with, when you’re with them, how you’re with them, it doesn’t matter what you
think. It just happens, it’s there. If you are yourself, you get to see that. I truly
do not know what love is. I know, as I’ll teach later this week, at the deepest
level none of us know. But I do know what companionship means. I do
understand going down a road with others. I do understand what it means to
be fulfilled.
I’m a transpersonal being, I’m a 5/1. Everything about my life is fulfillment

through the other and my relationship with the other. I understand that
magic. I see so clearly that when I’m correct and when I’m with somebody who
is correct, it doesn’t matter what is going on. It makes no difference.
Later I might get a certain, “Ah,” but it doesn’t matter, and I don’t care. It’s not
up to me. It’s not up to my mind. This is the just the river flowing. I flow with
the flow, I’m in the river, I go along with the geometry. Whoever I meet,

wherever I meet them, however it happens, this is just what it is. And it’s so
with the other.
This Gate tells us so much about what’s possible for the Generator because this
is a key for them, to know how to make a commitment to the right beings in
their life. And to recognize that in making that commitment, there is no
pressure on what the results are supposed to be.
This is all concept. As yourself, you don’t know what you’re going to get until
you live it out. And you don’t know what it’s going to look like until you go
through whatever the cycle is. It’s like getting to the end of the day and
reflecting back. It’s getting to the end of the month and reflecting back. It’s
getting to the to the end of the year and reflecting back, and it goes on and on.
No Specialness
There is nothing that the propaganda of the world has displayed that
convinces me that anything is special. I don’t believe in specialness. I don’t
think it exists, I think that’s all a lie. And I don’t think that being bonded to
somebody has to have a special glow. I think that’s just all a game. This is a
road we take; it’s a geometry.
I learned something in my life. I’m not an easy person to get along with. I’m a
lone wolf, I like to be left alone. I’m not very social; all of those things. As long
as I have been living out my nature, I’ve got all kinds of people in my geometry
and I just let go and see what comes out. I’ve learned a lot of things. I’ve
learned how to like certain people I never thought I could. All kinds of things.
You get to see what’s happening.
I was never like that because it was all a concept for me, who I was going to
like, or was smart enough to be my friend. I had all these concepts about what
it was supposed to be if you were going to have a connection with me. And it’s
all gone. I have people in my life, or my geometry that are complete jerks. I
have people in my life who are in my geometry who are absolutely incredible
beings. You get the whole load and I don’t judge anymore, I don’t care. It’s just
the geometry. If they’re there, they’re there, and I have no expectation on it, I
just watch it. It’s the great movie of life and I have learned to take in all kinds
of forces that way.

I’m a man that has been divorced many times. That’s not something that could
ever happen again. I’m willing to accept what life is, I let life do what it does. I
don’t have any critiques anymore. I don’t have any more of whether it should
be this, or it should be that, or I’m missing something, or why can’t I have this,
or why we don’t change, it could all be better if . . . It’s all a lie, and it kills us
inside, and it takes away this magic of the discovery, of why you are on the track
with somebody, what’s that all about.
Just Be Yourself
This is us; it is surrender. You’re never going to feel better in your whole life
than just being yourself. Being yourself in the world, you get what’s right for
you and you don’t have to spend all your time in your mind saying, “Well, it
could have been, might have been, should have been, why didn’t I, or could
have,” there’s this, there’s that. I know there’s lots of stuff. I get what I get; you
get what you get. And if you’re correct, it feels exactly correct. You don’t need
any more. It’s not about what’s on the other side, it’s about what’s there.

Gate 59
In the three Gates of the first Quarter, you got to see that there was an example
of each general type of Circuity. That is, you have a Collective Gate in the 42,
you have an individual Gate in the 3, and you have the Trible Gate of the 27.
When you come to this Quarter of Duality, which is all about bonding, there is
no Individual Sacral Gate. Individuality doesn’t fit in that; no freaks. They’re
different and they will never obey all the rules because they can’t, because
they’re always going to be different. They’re never part of the Sacral Strategy
of bonding. There are only two kinds of bonding: There is 29 bonding, which is
the bond about the way. It’s just about the life process, it’s about the
experience.
59th Gate Feeds the Emotional Process in the 6

Beside it we see the 59th Gate. The 59th Gate, like the 27th
Gate, is a very significant gate. These are role Gates,
these are generic roles that are very deep in us. And
just as the 27th Gate is what feeds, in essence, the whole
awareness process in the 50, that the 59th Gate feeds
the whole emotional process that is there in the 6.
In other words, when you’re dealing with the 59-6, at its deepest level, you’re
dealing with a fundamental demand of nature, which is to make more. It’s a
fundamental demand of nature: You make more. If you don’t make more, your
species dies out.
So, this is the deepest practical sexuality we

have. Now, I say “practical,” because this is
not about love. But because it creates the
energy of the emotional system, it creates all
the dynamics we end up interpreting it as
love: Need that we interpret as love, desire
that we interpret as love, want that we interpret as love, all of these various
themes that are in the emotional system.
Choosing the Right Mate for Procreation
When you’re dealing with the 59th Gate, what you’re dealing with is something
extraordinary. You’re dealing with the Generator’s capacity to choose exactly
the right mate to have a child with. Now, that doesn’t mean it’s the right mate
to live your life with, don’t confuse those things. The genetics don’t care.
What the genetics care about is that you choose the right mate because the
genetics are interested in the next generation. When you come to the 59th
Gate, you come to the Gate that says, “I’m available for the right intimacy.”
Again, this transcends the sexual. But please understand how deep the sexual
is in that.
In other words, you can accept somebody into your life as an intimate because
you’re going to create something together. It doesn’t have to be a child. It
could be a business, an art form, whatever it is. But please understand the
basic pressure that’s there on the 59th Gate, which is it can ever afford to get

into a relationship other than in response because it’s never ever going to be
correct.
And it’s not going to be correct, not necessarily in the person’s process. They
may think they have a good relationship and an intimacy, but it’s their children
that will suffer, because it wasn’t correct for those two beings to bond to
produce that offspring.
Now, when I say things like that, I know people get spooked. What to do; things
are what they are. What’s done is done. This is about today, tomorrow, and the
future. But it’s to understand something very basic about the 59th gate. Its
most important job is to select who it’s going to have a child with. That’s what
it’s there for. It’s not there for anything thing else.
The Most Selective People
And in fact, 59s should be people who have the smallest circle of intimates.
These are not people who should have intimates everywhere, and they end up
being like that. They end up being intimate with everybody and going through
all of that stuff. It’s not what they’re about. They should be the most selective
people of all because they’re here to see who they can create with together
something new, something special out of them and the other.
This is one of the magical things about bonding. One way we bond is to see
where we go together down the road and out of that we discover what it
means, the yin and the yang. Here, this is different. This is about saying that
we are coming together to make sure that we have good material for the next
generation.
That’s why there is so much myth here to cover up the truth. The truth is, I
make love to you because you’re right to have a child with; not to make love to
you because I love you or I need or want you. I’m just helpless.
In my thousands of readings, how many times I’ve had a woman sit beside me
and say, “I don’t know why I had a child with this man.” And invariably you’ll
see 59s. There they are saying, “Why did I have a child with this guy,” because
your genes said this is the only kind of man you can have a child with. It’s what

your genes want, and the mind is going, “Why did I do this? This is crazy! Look
at me now and I’m stuck with all of this.”
So, think about what it’s like to be a 59. Intimacy is magic. But that intimacy is
deeply selective and it’s not your mind that’s deciding. It’s not your mind that’s
saying, “Aha, this is who I can really have a good byproduct with.” You don’t
say those kinds of things.
It’s your Sacral that knows that. And that total outrageous different being who
says to you, “Well, should we go out…” and you’re going, “Uh-huh,” and your
mind is going crazy. The German woman in the Caribbean frolicking with a
Black man, and she becomes pregnant. That’s the way that the genes work.
They don’t care about you; they’ve never cared about you.
Deep Bonds
There isn’t a gene in your whole body that cares about you, that’s not their job.
They don’t even know there is an ‘us’ that we think of, they’re just doing their
job. And the 59th Gate, because it is a genetic Gate, is locked into this formula.
So, 59 Sacral beings have to be so clear that when they’re asked, only then is it
possible for them to have the right bonds. And these are deep bonds; they’re
not superficial.
The 29 relationship can be on the surface. It doesn’t mean it’s bad, there is no
judgement in that. It’s different because it’s the life that’s deep. The moment
you get into the 59 relationship, the intimacy, the bond is deep, but it has to be
the right bond. Otherwise, it’s a horror.
Of course, this is the place where children come into the world. And only when
it’s correct, then you can be free. You can be free to have true intimacy with
the other. That’s what it’s about.

Correct Relationships
Something very special about the Sacral Center is that it’s responsible for all
human intimacy. The Sacral Center has responsibility for our bonding, for our
intimacy. All that says to me is that until Sacral beings are living out their

nature, we’re really not going to know what that looks like. We’re really not
going to understand what intimacy is really about.
The reality is, if you’re living out your nature and you respond as a Sacral being
to the 59th Gate, it’s not just simply you’re responding to a genetic theme, you’re
responding to a theme that’s correct for you. It’s a totally different way of
venturing into that kind of relationship and there will not be a question inside
of you as to why.
Sacral Beings Are Repressed
It’s the whole thing about being correct. And it’s not an easy thing; you can see
the way the world is, and you can see what the conditioning is. Sacral beings
are the most repressed beings. Their Sacral voices are repressed. I can’t tell
you how many times I’ve sat beside a Generator in a reading, and I say
something, and they go, “Uhm.” And I point to their throat and I say, “Did you
hear that?” And they look at me, and they don’t know what I’m talking about.
I say, “Did you hear that?” “No.” They don’t even hear their own Sacral anymore.
I would tell them the same thing, “You’ll hear it on the tape; it’s there. That’s
your real voice That’s your real truth.” Sacral beings have been deeply
conditioned away from their power. Their power has been taken away from
them. It’s been taken away from them through words, through civilization that
says you can only express your truth in language. You can only express your
truth through concepts, that everything else is primitive.
And yet, the only way that we’re going to have relationships that are correct is
when the Sacral decides. When the Sacral is properly asked, then you know. It
has its response.
And as Generators, you have something very special. No matter what

relationship you’re in now, no matter who is there in your life, you have a way
of knowing, if you have courage, right away whether that’s right for you or not.
All you have to do is be asked. That’s all you have to do, is be asked and hear
what comes out.
The Magic of the Sacral

The magic of the Sacral is that it carries great truths. Those truths can be
shocking if you’re not prepared to discover yourself, but they’re your truths.
And intimacy and moving down the road together with somebody are the
basic laws of our lives. It’s essential that the Sacral becomes a model of that.
It’s why I’m so interested in transforming Generators because I know through

their nature that they dictate the way in which all of these things work in life.
The rest of it is just offshoots of what the Sacral brings.
So, to really be able to have Generators who are simply correct in the way in
which they deal with life, we’re going to have relationships that are different.
The moment that we have awake relationships, you have frustration go out the
window. And the moment that that frustration goes away, you begin to see
what it’s like to live with somebody in acceptance.
The Grace of Acceptance
All the other words don’t really matter then. It doesn’t matter whether you
want to call it love. It’s about acceptance and it’s the grace of acceptance, that
you’re in what is correct for you so you can let go. You can let go and discover
the 29 way, you can let go and find the depths of the intimacy in the 59 way,
and you don’t have to be concerned with the consequences because you’re
correct. It’s truly that simple.
Of all the things that Human Design represents is success for everybody.
Everybody has the chance to be themselves and you as Sacral beings are the
ones that can do it the easiest. You can know right away. All you can do is be
asked and hear your response, and you’re going to know what’s right for you if
you trust that because it’s an experiment.
If you trust that you’ll see that everything changes for you. You begin to
discover who it is that you are. One of the most important things for us to
discover now - because it’s coming to an end - is to be able to discover how to
be with the other in grace. It’s not about loving thy neighbor or any of those
things.
It’s about the acceptance of those that are in your line, in your geometry in your
life, to accept them for what they are as long as they can accept you for what

you are. As long as you can be correct with them, no room for complaints, there
is just life. And in the end, you get to discover what it is, because in the end
that’s the only place you get to discover. It’s when you look back. It’s when you
see that life is truly something that is special in the sense that it is a gift to all.
We do not have to toil. We do not have to suffer. We don’t have to fight or

struggle; we don’t have to do any of those things, not with life. We can play our
themes and our roles, but life itself, no, and you’re the ones that can know that.
You’re the ones that can know that at the moment. All you have to do is
recognize that it’s about accepting that they will come to you and that you pull
it, you never stop pulling it towards you, ever, as long as you’re alive.
Generators Always Pull Everything to Themselves
This is what you are as beings, you’re always pulling everything to you. That’s
how you can take advantage of life and that’s how you can be transformed as
beings. So, when it comes to duality and when it comes to us being with the
other, it’s up to Generators to show us the way. It’s not up to Manifestors like
me. It’s Generators that have to show the way because they’re the ones that
are really in charge of all of that.
And only when Generators are living out their true nature are we going to have
examples on this planet of what it really means to be with the other. And more
than that, what I look forward to is the offspring because this is part of the
whole story, the way we transform as a species. It’s part of our evolution, our
mutation.
Through awareness we become transformed as a species. We choose the right

mates. We live in peace on the road. And that in and of itself transforms what
life is and how we perceive life. And it doesn’t come with any great effort, it just
comes with the courage of being yourself. It’s that simple mechanic. It’s just
the courage to live that.

The Quarter of Mutation: The Journey Around the Wheel
I like jokes, so I’m going to show you a joke. If you look at the first Quarter, it’s
the Quarter of Initiation and you can really understand that as the passenger.

That is, your passenger consciousness, who you think you are, your Personality.
This is the witness, actually. This is about evolution. It’s about incarnation. This
is the returning witness, the witness that comes into the world and into the
flesh, incarnate. It comes into the body. Ok here, the Personality consciousness
comes in.
When we get to the second Quarter, it’s the Quarter of Civilization—remember

there’s no Sacral here—the Quarter of Civilization is like the Design Crystal, it
represents the body. It represents the form of the body and the transformation
of that form, so we go from the womb to building cathedrals. All of that gets
done in this Quarter of Civilization.

So, the witness comes into a body, it comes into form, and when it comes into
form its next job is to make more. That’s Duality. Once you come into form,
your first responsibility is to make more, bond and make more. And then you
get to the final Quarter, the fourth Quarter where you get the Quarter of
Mutation. At this point, the only thing you can do is die.
The hardest thing in the world for a Generator to deal with is degeneration.
The Generator doesn’t have anything connected to this form principle. If you
read this formula, the witness returns to the womb to measure and bond and
make more in order to die. That’s just the real formula.
Meeting the Other at the Crystal Level
If you look at the Sacral formula, it’s the passenger bonds and then dies, no
form. We’re meant to meet each other at the crystal level. We’re not meant
to meet each other because this one happens to be beautiful and this one
happens to like this and this one smells good and this one doesn’t, all of that
stuff.
The Sacral says, (sound), it’s not about that. That’s all this Civilization stuff.
That’s not what we are. What we are is that we recognize the other crystal.
We’re going to bond with our soul mate. We’re going to meet with something
beyond the form.
Wake Up Before You Die
So, when it comes to this last stage, when it comes to what it is to be here, it’s
only important to wake up before you die. And for most people, well, that just
doesn’t happen. The whole point is to get to that place where you recognize
what life is. That you cannot feel complete in this life until it’s correct because
you cannot accept its termination.
We all suffer from a terminal existence. We’re all going to die. These vehicles
are going to break down and perish. And most people, when they go to their
grave, go to their grave bitching. Many of them are so happy to get the hell out
of this world because all of it has just been awful for them. That’s the vast
majority of humanity.

How to Meet Death in Peace
So when we come to this fourth Quarter and we come to these four Gates,
we’re coming to one of the most important things that Generators have to
learn and demonstrate in their truth; that is, as a responsive, as responding
beings, to demonstrate how—because this is right at the beginning of this
Quarter—to be ready for death. These are the four ways that the Sacral is ready
to die correctly. That is, when you leave, you leave and it’s ok.
The door opens up and you go ok, no regrets, no “I could have, should have,
would have, too bad, it’s their fault” and all this stuff. It’s about going through
the process correctly. And there is a very clear way, four different ways, that we
can live this life so that we can meet death in peace.

Gate 14
I find the Sacral delightful. And I find the stories so funny.

But when you get here to this Quarter and you open up
the 14th Gate and the 34th Gate, you get to one of the more
unusual binaries in the way in which things operate.
The Sacral knows something, and it knows something

about what life is. Life is something that is a full time job,
and you never stop seeing the full time job. One of the
things we’ve seen in the world, and it’s something to see
without judgement, I know that from experience, this seeming unfairness of
the world.
There are two kinds of ways in the world to deal with the fact that you’re going
to die. One way is that you work all your life, you make money and you do well.
The other way is you work all your life, you survive, and you die. It is what it is
to be a Sacral being.
Two Kinds of Sacral Phenomena

We have two kinds of Sacral phenomena in the world. We have the huge
proportion of society on this planet that spend their entire lives totally
occupied with survival until they die. The 70% of a woman’s time in the world
that spend looking for firewood and water. By the way, that includes all
women in the world, so you can imagine what state people are in. We have a
survival mechanism that’s over here, and we have a success money making
that runs through the center.
The Gate of Work
The 14th Gate is the Gate of work. It is the great theme of the Sacral. It says in
your life there is nothing else to do but work. And if you work and you’re
fulfilled in your work, life is going to go by quickly. It’s unbelievable. It just goes
by quickly. You do your work, and it just goes by. I sit at the computer and
suddenly I realize that it’s 8 hours later. You do your work; this is the way. I’m
a 2, I need that 14; I understand that energy. This is the work.
The whole thing to recognize about the 14 is that this is the great Gate of
Possession in Great Measure. This is the Gate of the potential of real wealth,
that is part of the dynamic of the Sacral. The Sacral will not let you die. The
Sacral will give you a life that is nothing but survival, or it will give you a life in
which your work is rewarding.
All 14s are here to know that life and work can be rewarding, that if you put in
your effort, if you do your job, if it’s really correct for you, you’re going to be
rewarded and get the right direction in life. You’re going to feel good. That’s
what the 14th Gate is all about.
Work at What You Love
If you’re a Sacral being and you operate out of a definition of the 14th Gate, you
have to understand something about yourself. You have to recognize that the
only thing that’s ever going to make you happy is the work you do, not your
man, not your dog, not your kids. It isn’t.
It’s what you do with your life. Everything else is a byproduct. If you’re enjoying
what you do—remember, it’s Individual, Individuals have to love what they do.
If they don’t love what they do, nothing they do will work. And it’s not about

deciding that’s what I love to do. You’re a Generator, you respond, you wait for
that to come to you and then you engage in it fully.
Whenever I meet somebody who is a Generator and has the 14th Gate, there is
only one thing I can say to them: Work, and work at what you love. Because if
you work at what you love, it’s going to feel wonderful. Not only that, but you’re
going to see the rewards. The wagon fills up.
Go to Bed When Exhausted
The Sacral cannot deal with life intellectually. It cannot; there is no way. What
the Sacral does understand is exhaustion. All Sacral beings understand
exhaustion. That’s why I teach that if you have Sacral children do not give them
a bedtime. It’s very unhealthy. They go to bed when they’re exhausted.
Now, first they take advantage of that; it’s a natural thing. My 10 year old who
has no bedtime has learned to go to bed by 10:00 himself because he found he
was too tired in the morning. They’ll find their own time. But the Sacral can
only have a decent sleep when it’s exhausted.
So, if you have a Sacral child and you tell them to go to bed at 7:00 because all
the other kids their age go to bed at 7:00, these children are not going to sleep
well, not going to have a healthy sleep, not going to have a healthy system.
It’s so important to understand that the Sacral knows its exhaustion. And the
ultimate exhaustion is death. It’s like, “Oh, I can finally really go to sleep now.
The work is done.” And it’s not about some grand conceptual recognition. It’s
about getting to the end and knowing that the work is done. You’ve done it
and you’ve loved it and it was delicious and it’s over now. “Good, because I’m
tired.”
The whole thing about Sacral beings is that they’re always exhausted as a not-
self. All the Sacral people I know who live out the not-self, they’re always
exhausted. They’re exhausted with their friends, their kids, their lovers, their
jobs, this and that; they’re exhausted with everything.
And these are all little mini deaths. It’s their way of saying, “Oh, I wish I could
end this.” And the old standard Generator that says, “I quit this, I quit that.”
But this is the magic. The magic is to really see that the only way you can fulfill

yourself as a Generator is that you work, but you don’t work as a slave. You
work as a creative force. You work as a builder. You work at what is correct for
you and what you love to do. Nobody should do what they don’t love to do.
Everything Will Get Done
And don’t think that nothing will get done. Everything will get done. There are
people who want to pick up garbage and there are people who want to make
garbage. It’s the nature of the world and its diversity, but it’s about being
correct in that.
As long as you’re in the work that is correct for you, it doesn’t matter of the level
of scale, of income and all of those things, you have to feel good in what you
do. This is the magic for the Generator to deal with what life is. “I’m not going
to think about death. I’m going to work and work.” 70% of the workforce are
Generators and they’re all forced to retire in their 50s and 60s. This is called the
death sentence.
They’re not here to retire. I have an open Sacral, I’ve never wanted to work a
day in my life. My father said that the only thing I ever wanted to do was dance,
have sex and take drugs. He was right. I didn’t want to work, I have an open
Sacral. And that’s the only Sacral he wanted.
Work is the way. We’re here to work. We’re here to be busy, to make more, to
build. We’re here to do all of these things, but you’re here to feel good doing
it. Have a productive life, a life in which you can see the value of the energy
that you’ve spent.
And this is the greatest dilemma for Generators because they waste so much
energy doing so many things that are not for them. And then they feel like
they’re not worthy, because they don’t get the resonance of using their energy
correctly.
The First Secret for the Generator
So the first secret for the Generator is: Don’t worry about death. It will show up.
Worry about work, because this is your life and have the right work in your life
so it’s rewarding for you.

Gates 14 & 34
Everybody has the right to be a Keeper of Keys. And if you look at the nature
of the 14th Gate, you’ll see this is part of our individual direction. It’s the direction
for all of humanity. Our direction for all of humanity is that we have more and
more abundance for humanity.
I could point out the ugly side of what the

world looks like, I could point out those kinds
of statistics, but I also know that in no other
time in human history have so many people
have had so much and been educated so
well. In other words, we have the other side
of that, we have the expansion of wealth that
is unbelievable.
The average shopping center that you can go into, the super mercado that you
can go into, that mercado has a selection of food that would be astonishing to
a king 400 years ago. We have a capacity and abundance that’s available to us
today that is the byproduct of this 14th Gate but operating as the not-self. So,
we’re not feeding the whole planet, we’re not looking after everybody.
And in the end, that is all about the Generator and the 14th Gate. It is about the
purity that comes, the capacity that comes for development and growth when
one enters into the right job with that kind of energy. Then magic comes out
of that.
The 14th Gate Feeds Our Direction
We’re not supposed to be in a spiral in which the survival is everything. That’s

an ancient mechanism in us. We’re here to follow the path of the 14. The 14 is
the fuel that feeds the Sphinx, that feeds our direction, everything about us.
So, as a species, we are designed to do the job, do it well, love our job and
everything works. That’s what the 14th Gate is available for. They’re available to
do a job that is going to bring them satisfaction, and a byproduct of it is that
they’re going to be rewarded. That’s what it’s all about.

Obviously, that’s not going to happen if 14s aren’t waiting to be asked, if they’re
not waiting to respond. If they decide, “I’ll do this to make money. I’m going
to do this and it’s going to be terrific.” No, it doesn’t work that way. They can
only be correct when they’re living out their Strategy, only then are they going
to be able to enter into that kind of experience.
When I say work, work can be anything. It could be a job, a hobby, art, you
name it. Whatever it is, it doesn’t matter. But the moment that you’re doing
what is right for you to do, the rewards come naturally.
The 14s Are the Most Influential People on the Planet
These are the most influential people on the planet. When I do Business
Analysis and I see a 14th Gate and there is no 2nd Gate, the first thing I know is
that here is somebody that’s complaining all their life. “Oh, I work so hard, and
I get nowhere. Oh, I work so hard and get nowhere so I’d better quit this job
and start another one.” And then it’s, “Oh, I work so hard and I’m not getting
anywhere.” So, they quit that job and start another one. That’s the mantra of
the not-self 14th Gate.
The moment that Gate is operating correctly, the moment that it is responding
to what is correct for it, the rewards will come. And the work will not be, “Why
am I doing this? Why am I slaving? Why am I working when I don’t see the
rewards and I don’t see where it’s all leading?”
Everything about the Sacral is so magical. Generators can have such power.
Please understand that being 70% of the population, you dictate how life is for
all the rest of us. From the moment I came into the world and I came out of
my mother’s Generator body, I have been surrounded by Generators. I have an
open Sacral, all I get is the Generator world and it’s so messed up and so
unhappy. And it’s such an incredible thing. It’s so powerful, it’s so correct. It
has this potential to be so perfect.
So, if you’re operating out of the 14th Gate, you have to see more than anything
else that the work that you do in this life is the thing that is truly going to fulfill
you. And wait for it, because out of the fulfillment comes the reward for others,
comes the benefit for others. Every single person that can move down that

line and become successful they hire other people, they give other people
work, they give money away, they create wealth for others. It’s how the whole
process of enriching the species works.
The 34th Gate Is Mute
The 34th Gate, this is different. The 34th Gate in

the Sacral Center is known as the traitor.
That’s the 34th Gate. It goes right to the
Throat, and nothing else in the Sacral goes
straight to the Throat. All the other Gates in
the Sacral are always wondering about the 34.
“Are they on our side? Or are they on their
side?”
And 34s don’t know, which is why the spend

all their time scrapping and clawing. These are the busiest people on earth,
they are designed to be busy. The 20 and the 34 are oppositions in the Wheel
and there are so many 20-34s.
And the 34th Gate has another problem in terms of the other gates in the Sacral
Center. All the other Gates in the Sacral Center have tonal values: They all make
sounds. By the way, those sounds vary, but they all make sounds. They all
respond acoustically with sounds.
The 34th Gate Feeds Four Channels
The 34th Gate connects directly to the Throat. The 34th Gate is mute, it doesn’t
know how to make sounds. It knows how to say yes or no in response, but it
doesn’t know how to make sounds out of the Sacral because the 34 long ago
gave up being a pure Sacral Gate. It has a different job. It feeds four Channels;
it feeds the other Gates. It’s a very different kind of energy.
One of the things to understand about the 20-34, this Channel of Charisma, is
that it is deeply impressive to people. When you think about the fact that
almost all of humanity has to wait to respond in order to be correct, and you
have all these 20-34s running around like they know what they’re doing, and

they don’t. It’s very impressive to everybody else. “Wow, look at them.” They
don’t know how unhappy they are. They don’t know how messed up they are.
The 34th Gate Needs Guidance
And yet, everything about the 20-34 is that it’s

limited to survival. The reason they’re limited to
survival is that in keeping busy, they keep on
managing, but if they want to be a success, they
have to accept guidance.
In other words, the only way that 34s are successful

is when it stops being the traitor and stops thinking
of itself as being a Manifestor and accepts the fact
that it’s generative. Wait to be guided, only be busy
when you’re told, shown, led, advised, whatever,
into where you can put your busyness.
The reality is that most of the world just operates on

this frantic survival level, chasing after the next
morsel of food, chasing after all of these things, and not being guided, running
on that energy and assuming they’re Manifestors. And of course, that’s the
greatest disease of Generators.
I know how difficult it is for my Generator sons to have a real Ego Manifestor
like me as a father, because their natural tendency is to want to be a Manifestor,
too, and they can’t, nor should they.
Without awareness, we cannot teach our children that. Without awareness I

would have Generators trying to be Manifestors and they’d be very sick. The
whole thing about understanding what it is to have Generators in your life, and
when you meet a 20-34 of all things they’re waiting to be guided in this life, to
go beyond survival, to be busy in something that’s really productive for them.
Nothing makes a Generator feel better than to be satisfied in the use of their
energy, no matter what it is, but knowing that the use of that energy that it
feels right, that it feels good when it’s done. And not that there is a frantic need

to keep on going and keep on going. Only then does a Generator really feel
good and their power shines.
Allowing Life to Come to You
It’s so simple. It’s just a matter of allowing life to come to you. I know that can
be frightening and startling and it’s difficult for your minds. But at the same
time, you really have to see this is the miracle. You can get out of the Maia trap.
You can get out of the illusion game. You can get out of the suffering game.
I look at the planet and I see these two Gates and I see the world. This is the
Generator Sacral power and it conditions all of us. I don’t want to have negative
work conditions until I die. Think about all these people on the planet that
work until they die and hate it, that have to keep on looking after themselves
and never have a chance to stop. It can be a horror.
So, the moment we have one and two and three and four and eventually tens
of thousands and millions of Generators who live out their nature we have a
transformed planet. It’s that simple.
Acting Correctly Provides Resources for Others
And the greatest transformation that takes place in that is the food and the
wealth that becomes available for everyone. And I don’t mean that in any
socialist sense. I don’t mean that in any equality sense. I mean that the lowest
level lacks nothing at the material level, all that is possible for us.
Oh, we will always have hierarchies, nothing will ever change that. There will
always be those that have special gifts. It’s always there. But for all of us as a
species, as a whole, it is the Generators that will lead us to a place of bounty
where everybody has access, so at that lowest common denominator is
something you can live with and be at peace with.
When you provide everyone with what they need, the food that they need and
the shelter that they need, you change the nature of the world. You get rid of
a lot of hatred and anger. We live in a world where there are so many people
that are poor and hungry and angry, it’s no wonder that we have a world filled
with violence and hatred, and we do.

We have the gift of being able to transform that and not through some kind of
conceptual peace movement. It’s about transforming every single Generator
one by one so that they act correctly. When they act correctly, resources
become available to others. That’s their gift.
That wagon, you can fill that wagon up and feed so many. And every time the
wagon gets empty it gets filled up again. There is abundance that is available.
But that abundance comes from Generators and it comes from them being
masters of their work, and lovers of their work, whatever their work may be.
Only when they enter into it correctly is it possible.

Gate 34: Available to be Busy
The 14th Gate is available for work, and it’s available for work that will be a
success not only for itself but for others. That’s what it’s available for. So, if you
go to a 14th Gate and you say, “Here’s this work, would you like to do it?” And
they go, “Uh-huh,” you can sit back and watch them fill the wagon because
sooner or later, that’s what they’re going to do. And not only do they create
abundance for themselves, but they create abundance for others. It’s very
important to understand. It’s part of the gift.
The 34th Gate is always available to be busy. It doesn’t know what to be busy
about, but it’s always available to be busy. The moment that you can guide
them and say, “You know, I think you should be busy about that,” and they go,
“Uh-huh” or they go, “Yes,” which is their tendency—the pure ones, by the way,
because if they have other Gates activated in the Sacral, the sounds will come
out—that automatically the moment they’re ready to accept guidance, that’s
the moment that something can happen for them because that’s the moment
that it’s not survival anymore. That’s the moment that being busy has a value
and purpose and will bring them reward. And all they have to do is be
receptive, all they have to do is wait to respond.
And as Generators, you’re an energy type. Your chances and opportunities to

live out your Strategy take place with every breath. You can transform your life
right now, with every breath. You’re an energy type like me. We have our
strategies that are available to us all the time, 24 hours a day. You can be

transformed if you’re a 14th Gate and now is the time for you to wait to respond
to what is right for you, and see what abundance is like, how good it feels.
Feeling Good Using Your Energy
Generators just want to feel good in the use of their energy, this is the most
important thing for them. They can’t escape being energy beings. You can’t
escape being a Generator and vibrate all the time. Instead of sweeping the
damn floor all day, do something that really feels good.
And it’s waiting for every Generator. It will not be denied you. Remember,
you’re pulling it towards you. If you just let go, you’ll see, you’re pulling it
towards you. If you pull those forces to you, you will see that that opportunity
will be there for you.
Work Is Intended to be Creative
Remember something incredible about the 14 and the 34, they are the forces
that teach us what we do in this life in order to be able to deal with death. And
they’re both Individual; they’re both a freak. That tells you that life and work
isn’t always happy. Sometimes it’s sad, but it’s always creative.
Work is intended to be creative. Being busy is intended to be creative, it is

guided by the muse. It’s the glory of what we are, which is why we are at the
top of the food chain because we have special gifts as a species. And when we
work right, when we do clean work, correct work, then the magic comes out.
It’s all about Generators waiting to respond and to recognize there isn’t
anything you should do in this life that you don’t love doing. And you can’t
select it, you can’t say, “I want to do that; I think I’m going to love that.” You
have to let it come to you. And when it comes to you and you respond to it,
you will discover that. You’ll discover how good your body feels. You’ll discover
how productive a human being you can be and not feel frustrated and not
need to quit.
Generators Are Here to be Masters
Generators are here to be masters, they’re here to perfect. It’s an incredible

power to take things completely through because they work at it until the end.

So, that’s the availability. The availability is, “I’m available to work. I’m available
to be busy. I’m available to all things that are necessary as long as I get what I
love to do,” because then everything goes by quickly. And it’s all kind of easy,
and it’s great. By the time I finish my work, I’m finished, and it’s perfect. That’s
the magic.

Patterns & Logic
In looking at the sequence of the Sacral Center so far, we’ve never seen any
logic. We’ve seen the Collective, but we’ve only seen the Collective abstract.
We saw the Collective abstract in Initiation. In the 42nd Gate we saw the
Collective abstract in the Duality and with the 29th Gate. Again, the Collective
abstract is about the human experiential way.
But when you come to this final theme of Mutation, and when you get past the
individuality, that each of us have an individual responsibility to work in this life
because that’s a theme of being alive, we finally come in this Sacral
configuration to two deeply logical Gates.
Discovering Patterns
Everything about awakening the mind is about discovering patterns. As I’ve

taught people over the years and shown them the patterns, their satori’s are
seeing patterns over and over again, and how funny it is. You meet the same
energy. All these kinds of things that keep on repeating, you see the same
patterns everywhere. You see that all the time.
The pattern is something that is very important to the Sacral being.

Remember they’re not connected to their body, which is why it’s so often a
burden for them. They’re not really interested in that. And yet, they have to
live in it, and it has to work and do all that and has to go through all of that.
And it’s the pattern that allows them to see not through themselves, but they
see an animal die, go through its life and die. They see a plant grow and die.
They begin to see that death is part of the pattern and they need to investigate
the details of it.

Designed to Resonate to the Pattern
When I teach Sacral beings, I know something about them. What I know about
them is that they resonate to every pattern that I show them, because they are
the ones that are the closest to the pattern. You’re designed to resonate
perfectly to the pattern. You’re designed to fit in precisely to the pattern, and
it’s so easy for you because all you have to do is respond to know whether the
pattern is right. All you have to do is respond.
The pattern is the final grace of the Sacral being. It’s why I spend so much time
teaching them. Show them the pattern, show them what it is to be a Generator.
Show them the pattern of the Generator; show them the pattern of the
Generator not-self.
I repeat the same stories about the Generator not-self, and it touches every
Generator I meet. They see the pattern. And it is Generators that are here to
see the pattern, “Ah, this is the way it works.” They’re all waiting for one thing:
Somebody to tell them the truth. Patterns are no fun unless they’re the truth.
And the only way the Generator knows that the patterns being offered to it are
the truth is through the nature of its response.
Untapped Energy Available to the Generator
I’ll look at these Gates in detail tomorrow morning as we finish this looking
through, because I want to leave it by itself for you to think about. But my
connection to the generative power, because I amplify it because I have an
open Sacral Center, is whenever I take in a Generator into my aura, one of the
things I really recognize is how much untapped potential is in their energy
field. It’s like there is this incredible font of energy that’s available that’s inside
of them.
And in most cases, it’s deeply repressed. Frustration is a killer and instead of
that potential coming out, what you get is this kind of unquiet. There is this
kind of funny frequency that not-self Generators put out I’m so aware of. How
easy it is to heal that over and over again. And you’re the best audience for me,
after all. I can’t make the same pitch to Projectors and I can’t make the same
pitch to Reflectors. And I truly can’t make the same pitch to Manifestors.

Only Decide in Response
But oh boy, I tell you, all it takes is for you to wait. What that really means is
don’t make a decision in your life unless it’s a response. I’ll talk about this
tomorrow. It’s not about Generators not starting the conversation, not wanting
to do something. It’s not about that. If a Generator says to me, “I think it would
be great if we did this, this and this,” my first thing is to say to them, “Do you
really mean that?” because they might not. Afterall, things just pass through.
The key for Generators is to understand that decision making is only by

response, and then you get to see what’s there for you. That’s something so
special, and it’s not a big trip to get there. It’s about having the courage to
experiment with it.
And because you are energy types, because you are Sacral energy types, you’re
going to have the opportunity almost every moment of every day to affirm the
value of non-initiation, to affirm the value of only making decisions in response.
And then if you’re a 14 or a 29 or 42, whatever it is, it doesn’t make any
difference. If you’re making decisions in response, you’re going to have a
different life, and you’re going to get to see what you’re here for. You’re going
to get to see what you’re really here to do with your life and to feel good when
you go to sleep at night.
Generators can go to sleep and really feel good. They have completed their
cycle for the day. They’ve done their work, it feels good. They’re not sitting
there with all kinds of energy left and they can’t close their eyes and they can’t
go to sleep and their heads are racing around. It’s the magic of doing what’s
correct for you.
I spend a lot of time trying to teach Generators. But I know all they need to
hear is: Make decisions in response. Go and live that and see how magical that
is.

Generators Make the Pattern
I could spend years teaching about the Sacral Center. Each of the nature of
these Gates are truly profound. When you come to the last of these two Gates

in the Sacral that we’ve been looking at and you come to the logical Gates, the
9, the Taming Power of the Small, and the 5th Gate, Waiting, you come to the
essence of why I speak of Sacral beings as being “holy,” the ones that are here
to wake up, the ones that are here to get it right away.
The joke is that every Sacral being creates the very pattern for the whole planet
that they have to accept and live. They actually generate the pattern, generate
the pattern of life. All life is formed out of generation. All life, all birth, all being,
is formed out of the Sacral Center.
Channel 5-15 Is Common to All Designs of Forms
One of the keys to the Sacral Center is that it’s at the very heart
of what it is to be alive. This is in the Channel 5-15. Those of you
who know a lot about Design know that there is a Design for
different forms. Whether that be for mammals, insects,
reptiles and fish, or single cells, they all have one thing in
common. They don’t have as many Gates in the matrix, but
they all have one thing in common. They have this Channel 5-
15 in common.
The 5th Gate Creates the Pattern of Life
And the 5th Gate is the Gate that right down to the very
cellular level is creating the pattern. Everything is a
pattern. And the very prison, if I can use that term, that
all Generators live in is a prison they have made for
themselves and everybody else, because they and you
generate the pattern.
The pattern of life comes out of the 5th Gate. And in the
5th Gate is enlightenment, is being awake, is inner peace,
all these deep mystical themes are all there in the 5th
Gate. It is the pattern. The whole thing to understand about Generators is that
the world is their world. It’s not mine; it’s yours. I’m not here to make more. I
only make more when I get trapped by a Generator; otherwise, I don’t make
more.

The Not-Self Distorted Patterns
It’s a Generator’s world, it’s a Generator’s pattern. 70% of the human

population—this is a Generator’s world. And we’re all living in the pattern. So,
think about what happens when Generators don’t live out their nature. Think
of the chaos of those patterns, that they don’t operate correctly, that they don’t
operate as in us through four basic themes; they don’t. They operate through
the millions and millions of distortions that are possible through the not-self.
And it’s all out of the Generator. It’s your world. You can make it a better world;
nobody else, truly. And not by carrying signs that say: Let there be peace. But
by being Generators, by responding, by being correct into what you enter into,
being correct in what you do, being correct with who you’re with. You
reestablish the correct pattern, not just for you, but for everybody.
When you wake up a Manifestor, practically nobody notices. When you wake
up a Projector, there is a parade because it’s a hell of a surprise. But when you
wake up a Generator, they change everybody that comes near them because
they change the pattern. This is the army of God. This is the great force that
is here to transform the planet. That’s why they’re the ones that are supposed
to be the builders and not the slaves.
The Manifestor Time Has Ended
The Manifestors, by being what they are, for so long all the Generators trying to
be Manifestors, there was no stable pattern, so the Manifestors could rule.
We’re not here to rule, our time ended over 250 years ago. I’m the last of my
kind. I’m going out to pasture.
It’s like here in Spain with horses. There was a time if you were to have any
wealth at all, you had to have a horse. The horse was everything. It was so
much everything that it was worshiped and prayed to. I live in a town where
the next village has a church only for horses. And now, they’re for little girls to
ride on the weekends. They’re pretty on the horizon, and they’re put out to
pasture.
Only Generators Can Change the Pattern

The Generators are not here to be led like sheep by heretic Manifestors like me.
You’re here to be more powerful than I ever dreamed about as a Manifestor
because I cannot change the pattern. I can only amplify the pattern you give
me. You have to see that it is in your hands. And that you have more influence
when you’re awake than anybody else because you change everybody’s
pattern, and the pattern becomes correct.
That Channel has a great name, it’s the Channel of Being in the Flow. This is
the great river. This is Lao Tzu’s river. This is the place to be: In the flow.
Everything is correct. Nobody fights. Nobody struggles. Everybody just rides
along in the flow, correct in their pattern.
That’s the magic but it’s up to you. It’s not up to anybody else, no teacher, no
philosopher. I can’t make the difference. I’m no messiah, I’m a messenger. My
message is for you. You make a difference because you’re the only ones who
can. And every single one of you that wakes up transforms everybody around
you to the very pattern that comes out of you. The inner peace that people
want, that’s just about knowing your place, who you are and where you are in
the flow.

Ruled by the Chaos of the Not-Self World
I like the soap opera in the world. The way I look at Generators is the way I look
at countries where populations are oppressed and abused, and they’re led by
kleptocrats, the people who run the country and just steal all the money and
abuse the people. All those people there, every once in a while, you wonder
why they put up with it, there are so many of them. There is some creep at the
top with a couple of guys he pays money to shoot people. But after all, the
population is enormous. If the population wants to stand up, the whole nation
is transformed.
Of course, we know that doesn’t happen very often. These are Generators to
me. Generators are being ruled by the chaos of the not-self world, and they
accept it. They accept the suffering, and the frustration. They don’t know
better. It’s not like every Generator I talk to wakes up. I talk to adults; adults
are already messed up. Adults have already lived their lives not as themselves,

they’re deeply conditioned. And they’re deeply connected to the lives that are
around them.
It’s not like it’s easy for them to suddenly confront the possibility that all of that
had nothing to do with them. That there is a ‘them’ to be discovered, and the
ordeal for an adult to go through seven years, to go through the process, it’s
really something.
This Knowledge Is for Children
This knowledge is for children to make it easier. But they have to be taught by
somebody. There always has to be first generations. There always have to be
those who do that, and the people aren’t going to rise up and get rid of the
monsters until they become themselves.
The not-self is a monster, it’s your own private demon. It possesses you; it
distorts your life. It takes away the beauty of what life is, and more important
for me, the beauty of what you are as beings, to see your own uniqueness, to
experience your own mythology.
And I watch all the time, I look at these countries. I watch them and think it’s
so simple. You just all get up at the same time and say no, and it’s over. You
all get up at the same time and you just say no, but nobody does it.
The 15-5: The Most Magnetic of All Channels
This is the point about understanding mechanics. You have a

way of being able to wake up by understanding what your real
power is, what the power of that Sacral is. The 15-5 is the most
magnetic of all Channels, there is nothing more magnetic.
In the 15th Gate is the potential of the love of humanity, or the

hatred of humanity. That 5th Gate is so incredibly magnetic. It’s
pulling everybody into its pattern, everybody that it meets. I
have two 15-5 children; you should see what that’s like. Their pattern is my life,
I have no escape from that. Good thing I educate them. They control me; they
control my pattern and there is nothing I can do about that.

This is the way it is. I used to wonder in the early days of my traveling in Design
why I would be away so long, but I have a son who is a 15-5, I’m being sent away.
And I got to come back when it was ok to come back because that’s the
pattern.
The Power of the 5th Gate
Think about it if you’re a 5th Gate, think about what that means. You have an
inordinate power over everybody around you. If you’re not living out who you
are, think about what that distortion of the pattern does to everybody in your
life because that’s what you empower them with. With somebody like me who
is deeply sensitive to Sacral energy, when I meet a 5th Gate not-self, that’s really
something.
I love logic and patterns. It’s like being a musician and all the notes are flat,
and you can feel it, and they’re pulling me into that pattern. Generators have
enormous power because they live their life in frustration. None of you
understand your power, you have no idea. You have all these head trips about
what you’re worth, what you’re not worth, what you’re good for, what you’re
not good for. You have all your disappointments and all this stuff that
Generators go through.
The 5th Gate Controls the Flow
And when somebody has the 5th Gate and that 5th Gate is part of the definition,
this is somebody who is controlling the flow. And not just for them, but
anybody who comes near them, whether it’s standing in line at the
supermarket, whether it’s being with your lover, your children, your family,
whatever it is, everyone gets sucked into it.
If I could be selective and have a numerical, hierarchical order of waking up

Sacrals, I would start with the 5th Gate. Please let’s fix the pattern first, and then
everything else would be ok, because it’s so incredibly powerful.
The 5th Gate: Available for the Right Pattern
And you see, it’s powerful outside of itself in a way that’s hard to imagine what
it’s like when somebody can bring you into their pattern. That 5th Gate by
design is only available for the right pattern, that’s what it’s there for.

Its respondability is the ability to respond to the right pattern. And when
somebody comes up to them and says, “Do you want to go out tonight?” and
they go, “Uh-uh,” it’s not what the mind thinks. It’s what that 5th Gate knows
inherently, “This will not be the right pattern, I will not be in the flow, it’s not
going to be smooth, resistance-free journey.” It’s not because they’re saying
they don’t like the person or the restaurant or the idea, it has nothing to do
with that. Minds are always making up reasons.
It is their Design only to respond to the right pattern. So, think about that not-
self Generator, someone with an open mind and their Sacral goes, “Uh-uh,” and
the mind goes, “Maybe, I’m hungry and it’s a good restaurant and I like this
person. And I’m going.” That pattern is not going to be a pleasant evening.
Something is going to go wrong. The food isn’t going to go down well. All of
it; there is always going to be something wrong in the pattern.
Remember, it’s the Generators that create the pattern for humanity. It’s you. I
used to have a fantasy game about hating emotional people. As an open
emotional being, I’m so tired of going up and down on all these not-self
emotional people’s bullshit.
Now, I have my thing with the Sacral. I think that if Sacral people aren’t going
to get their shit together, we should just get rid of them. And if you take away
70% of the population, it’s going to be a lot more food for everybody, and we’re
not going to have these people vibing around putting us into patterns that are
chaotic. It’s ridiculous.
It’s true because it is you. Unfortunately, it’s not the Collective’s responsibility,
it’s an individual’s responsibility; each and every one of you because you
transform the world around you. The moment you’re a Generator, regardless
of what Gate, and you’re truly responding, you change the pattern of the life
around you.
You suddenly discover that by being yourself people automatically ask you
things, people automatically seek out your response. The pattern becomes
correct, and you’re creating the pattern. You bring them into that flow.

It’s not like they have to be educated; you have to wake up. They don’t have to
be educated. When you wake up, you change their pattern. And if you’re a 5
you really change their pattern.
For me, these are exceptional, extraordinary beings. Every Sacral person that
carries the 5th Gate in a defined Sacral, each and every one of them carry this
responsibility. But more than that, for you to see it as your power and
advantage. You’re not here to be somebody else’s pattern. You’re not here to
take on somebody else’s chaos. You’re here to establish the pattern and you
don’t know what it is until you respond to it. You don’t know what your pattern
is until you’re responding to it.
The 5th Gate: The Gate of Habit and Ritual
Then that 5th Gate becomes something else. Once the pattern is established,
it becomes the Gate of habit and ritual; it becomes your way of life. When
you’re a Generator and you discover your Sacral power and your Sacral voice,
nothing, not torture, not pain, not anything, will ever make you give that up;
nothing, because you discover the truth of what it is to be you. This is the way,
and it becomes a ritual, it becomes a habit, it becomes the way. This is the flow,
but it’s up to you.

It’s Time for Real Humanity to Emerge
The time has passed where people are born to be fooled. Just about forever
Manifestors have fooled themselves and everybody else that they knew what
the pattern should be. All the holy books are written by Manifestors: Thou shalt
not. Tell them what to do. Tell them what the pattern is and make them
pretend that our pattern is the real pattern.
That time is over, that time ended in 1781. That time ended with the advent of
the nine centered being. The glory of the nine centered being is all locked into
the potential of the Generator. The pattern was always the Generator’s pattern.
No matter how long they were slaves to Manifestors, they were still creating
the pattern. They create the pattern of acceptance of slavery, just as people in
the world will create the pattern of accepting of having leaders who are cruel
and stupid and take advantage of them. It’s just the way it is.

But we’re not in a time where people are here to be cruel. We’re in a time where
truth becomes more and more accessible to more and more people. This is
the beauty of our time. And it means there is no need for Generators to be
slaves in their personal life or add to the slavery of the world as a whole, its
slavery to obsession, materialism, to ugly gods, its slavery to all of that stuff. It’s
time for the real humanity to emerge.
That’s all part of what it is to be a Generator. It’s why I can see it in its special
language. I also know it privately and personally; I know it because I came from
a Generator woman. I’ve had nothing but Generator children, a Generator wife.
I live in a Generator world and I understand how generating and the Generator
dominates the environment. But I also see that with every change that takes
place within the Generator how easy it is for everything to operate in a flow. It’s
your world.
When I wanted to begin this process of just teaching type to type, I couldn’t
stay with just teaching Generators because this really is the work. I want each
and every one of you to recognize, you’re not a big group but you come from
eight different countries. Something important to realize is to take this back
to the Generators in your life, to change them. You can change them and you
can change them easier. You are, after all, the ultimate role model for any
Generator that you’re going to meet. The truth that comes out of you is a truth
that is much deeper than the truth that I can bring to a Generator.
I’m a Manifestor; I’m different. I know the difference but I can never really know
what it is to be you. I can understand it intellectually, I can understand it
through the wisdom of having an open center and having experienced the
different ways in which generation works. But it’s still not me, it’s still alien.
You have to transform your own, and you change the pattern. That’s
something to watch, to watch your pattern change, to watch the way people
change around you and see how far that really moves because the aura of an
awake Generator is an enormous thing. It just keeps growing and growing.

The Fear of Dying Worthlessly

I want to take you back a step. I got rest this morning because I really wanted
to take you through the 5th Gate and show you the essence of what Generator
power is. But let’s take a step back for a moment.
Remember, when we’re dealing with the Quarter of Initiation, what we’re
dealing with is a way in which we can confront the reality that life is terminal.
It’s not that we have a fear that life comes to an end. Those of us who age
discover that aging is not a big deal. In other words, there are parts of the aging
process that naturally become more and more comfortable for us because our
hormones change, and the chemistry adapts.
It’s not about the fear of dying, it’s the fear of dying worthlessly. It’s the fear
that life turns out to be nothing but a bad joke. It’s the fear that there is no
rhyme or reason for why you’re here. It’s the fear that all of this is really just
meaningless. It’s just a very, very painful something and then it comes to an
end, and even that is kind of bizarre because you don’t even know what that
means.
It’s one of those things for most human beings, that’s what death represents.
It represents a threat and it says, “Oh, watch it. You’re going to have a horrible
time dying unless you’re awake. Or you have Alzheimer’s.” Either you forget
about it right away, or you forget about it after you’re dead, but nonetheless,
you’re going to have a hard time with physical death in life.
Finding Purpose Through Work
So, when we look at the beginning of this process, the 14 and the 34, we saw
that one of the ways in which the Sacral Center deals with finding purpose is
through work. Now again, this is the energy that makes everything happen, so
it’s an obvious thing. But it’s very important for Generators to understand that,
particularly Generator women. And particularly Generator women in the West
that have the opportunities to work at whatever they want because they can
fully take advantage of the power that’s there.
But it’s essential for Generators to recognize that it’s not for the work’s sake.
It’s through the work they find their purpose, they get to see their energy used
properly. It doesn’t matter what kind of work it is. If they’ve entered into it
correctly, they find their purpose through the work. In other words, they get

that sense of self-worth, they get that sense of contribution. They get that
sense of all of the things that are important to them, respect, all of those things,
along with whatever reward is natural. But they get that through the work
they do.
Of course, that says something very basic about Sacrals and work. It says if you
enter into any kind of endeavor, no matter what it is, incorrectly, you’re going
to suffer consequences at many levels, from physical to financial.
Remember something about the Sacral Center. Because the Sacral Center is
a motor, it’s not the gear box, it’s not the Throat, the whole thing about the
Sacral Center is that it stays with something until it is complete, and then it
goes to the next level.
The Phenomenon of Mastery
When you enter into something correctly as a Sacral being, instead of each of
those places where you stay for a while, being in places where you feel stuck,
frustrated, uncomfortable, ready to quit, this becomes a phenomenon of
mastery. Stage by stage, level by level there is no rule other than a Manifestor’s
rule that says you have to get it right away. Only Manifestors teach such
nonsense.
That’s how they enslave Generators. They say, “Get it right away,” and a
Generator doesn’t get it right away. It grows through it. It absorbs it into its
pattern, the whole thing. It’s different; they generate. And they will go deep
into that momentary flash, and then they’ll get to the next step.
As an employer, and I’m an employer, I hire Generators. I love to hire

Generators. When I hire Generators, I give the first year in which they can do
no wrong. In other words, they can fall flat on their face, make terrible
mistakes, they can cost me money, they can do all of that.
I will put up with it for one year, because I know at the end of that year, because
they did enter into it correctly—because that’s the way I work with people— I
know at the end of that year I will have no problems with them ever again. Not
only that, but they’re also going to get so good at it that they’re going to
become indispensable. You don’t want to ever get rid of them because they’ll

create the pattern, they’ll create the wealth, they’ll create the flow. They’ll bring
all of that and all you have to do is have patience.
I have enormous patience with Generators. I understand it’s not about being
slow; don’t confuse that. I’m not saying they’re slower than Manifestors. They’re
different; they’re Generators. And everything the Generator takes in, ultimately
becomes part of the pattern they put out. They have to take things in deeply
and they have to be able to digest them and move through them. Then they
jump to the next level, and on and on.
If you want to meet a real master, you have to wait to meet an awake Generator
at the end of their life. Wow, now that’s somebody to go and visit, because
that’s where you’re really going to see mastery and see mastery fulfilled.
The 9th Gate: A Journey of Detail
So, we have two ways here that say that the Generator can find
purpose in life through work. Then we get to the 9th Gate, one
of my favorites, The Taming Power of the Small. In the ancient
I’Ching, this Gate was directly connected to Lao Tzu’s
statement of: The journey of a thousand miles begins with the
first step. This is the great Gate of bit by bit by bit by bit.
If you really want to understand what it is to be a Generator, you have to take

deeply into your consciousness this 9th Gate, because this is your magic, piece
by piece, every step. It’s a process, it’s a journey after all, but it’s a journey of
detail.
And that journey of detail is that the moment that the Sacral—I’m not talking
about mental detail—the moment that the Sacral is correct in what they’re
doing they get every detail. And only when they get through a layer of detail
are they ready to go onto the next, and all the detail that goes through it.
If you could measure Sacral beings as they go through any day, there are these
clicks all day long. Little things that are just clicking into place all the time, little
things, not big things you have to focus on. The more you’re responding, the
more you get to see all the detail is there for you.

The Journey of the Sacral Being Never Ends
This is the journey, the journey of the Sacral being. It’s all the steps, and the
journey never ends. It’s interrupted, but it never ends. The magic of being an
awake Generator is that the moment that you’re awake as a Generator and you
see the door at the end, it’s not death. It’s just an interruption; it’s time for a
commercial.

Everything that I’ve been describing to you about the Sacral Center, all of these
different Gates, all come together as the patterns established by all Sacral
beings. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a Sacral being and you don’t have the
5th Gate, or you don’t have the 9th Gate, it’s part of the Sacral process, it’s part of
what it is to be a Generator. It’s part of understanding what it is to be you.
Responsible for All Depression in the World
One of the most important things to understand about Generators is that the
not-self Generator is responsible for all the depression in the world. Isn’t that
nice? Aren’t you pleased with yourselves? Haven’t you done a good job!
There’s enough depression going around that it’s really kind of spooky, and it’s
a direct result of Generators being not-selves.
The 9th Gate Depression: Nothing to Focus On
The three Gates that open up the Sacral Center pointing downwards to the
Root—we’ve already looked at two of them. We’ve looked at the 42nd Gate and
the 3rd Gate, which we saw in the first Quarter, the Quarter of Initiation. And
we saw that each of these Gates have a potential for depression. But there is
no depression worse for a Generator than the depression of the 9th Gate. There
is nothing like it because the depression of the 9th Gate is there is nothing to
focus on.
The not-self Generator is a quitter. And because it’s a quitter, it becomes very
uncertain about this or that, the options in life, that their frustration clouds all
of that, and they don’t have something they can really just focus on, because
that’s what they need.

The Generator that can focus on its work and move through that, the
Generator that can focus on its pattern and move through that, the Generator
that can focus on its commitment and move through that. It’s just the focus,
you’ve got to have the focus. If you don’t have the focus, if you didn’t enter into
it correctly, this is not for you.
When this motor inside of you goes, “Uh-uh,” do you think it’s going to
cooperate with your mind, when you mind says, “No, we’re going to ignore that
and do this”? You’re talking about the power system. You’re talking about
something that controls all the patterns. The mind is going to have a hard time
with that.
You have to have a focus. And if you don’t have a focus, you get really
depressed. Every time a Generator becomes frustrated and quits, the first door
that opens is the door of depression. It’s the first door. After a while, depression
is something that becomes chronic. It becomes part of the pattern, the not-
self Generators creating a not-self pattern that if you’re a Generator, that
depression is something that’s always hanging around that you can indulge in
every once in a while.
The Not-Self Generator Creates the Pattern of World Depression
There is nothing like the not-self Generator to make up an excuse why they’re
in pain. Not-self Generators can make up so many excuses about the nature
of the world that it is unbelievable to listen to them. And they’re the ones
creating the pattern, they’re the ones making the world we have to live in.
It’s not nice when the not-self rules, and I don’t like being in a world of
depression. I’ve met so much depression in my work with people in analysis,
and a level of depression that’s there in the generating field in the whole
pattern of what it is to be a Generator.
The Depression Can Go Away in an Instant
Those three themes of depression—to be depressed that you cannot stay

through the ride, that you cannot commit to the whole goal of the 42, the
depression that there’s nothing new, that everything is boring and dull, the
depression that there’s nothing to focus on—can go away just like that.

Because every time a Generator cannot be fulfilled in those three Gates,

whether they have them or not, in spirit of what it is to be them, then they will
just suffer.
When I look—I like to make fun of religion—at Jesus hanging on the cross I can
only think about Generators. That’s really what I see. Manifestors really don’t
hang on crosses. You cut off their heads or something, but you don’t hang on
crosses.
There is this incredible suffering in the Generator world. You’re the lucky ones,
the advantaged ones. You have culture, education, money, all those things
that come with being in an advantaged part of the world. But the majority of
the 70% of Generators that are in the world are carrying all the energy of pain
and frustration, all of the depression. It’s everywhere out there.
The Importance and Worthiness of the Generator
What I wanted to show you, what I wanted you to have a taste of, is how
important you are. But each of you as yourself, that’s where the importance is.
That each time each of you make that step to live out what is correct for you—
the Strategy of a Generator is simple—the moment that you can live out that
Strategy as a Generator, then you make an enormous impact in the world
around you, and that’s the point. But more than that, you’ve got your focus,
and your focus is you and your life and what is correct for you.
One of the things that I know about what we call love, that if you’re not correct,
you cannot love yourself. And if you cannot love yourself, you cannot love the
other. It’s all a joke. One of the most important things for Generators is that
the moment they begin responding they get to see their worthiness. They
begin to look in the mirror and see somebody that they like rather than
somebody they always want to change, that they want to see a different image,
a different spirit, a different this and that.
Every Generator, because they grow up in Manifestor propaganda, knows that
from the moment they come into the world because the moment they come
into the world somebody is telling them they could do a better job. You can
dress better, you could look nicer, why don’t you change your hair, your clothes,
and on and on. You’re not as good as this one, you could be better.

Then you stand in front of the mirror as a Generator and you go, “What am I
going to do? Who should I become? What should I wear? I’ll try this. If it
doesn’t work, I’ll quit. I’m frustrated and depressed. I’ll try this. It doesn’t work;
I’m frustrated and depressed,” and it goes on and on.
The Pain of Comparison
Then somebody like me says to you how wonderful you are and how incredible
and powerful you are, and how beautiful you are. And I know all of these faces
in front of the mirror. To become yourself is really unique. To be yourself is
unlike anything else.
The pain of intellectual life is comparison. We all suffer in our conditioning

from comparison. One child compared to the other, one person compared to
the other, one level of intelligence compared to the other, one level of beauty
compared to the other, and it goes on and on.
And all of you, because you don’t live out who you are and you’re not correct,
you’re always caught in that comparison. “Am I good enough? Do I do well
enough? Do they like me?” and on and on, all of this measuring. When you
become yourself, what’s to measure? When you become yourself, you’re not
looking to become anything. There is nothing to be. You don’t have to change
anything. There is nobody who is better, there is nobody who is more correct.
When you’re awake, you get to notice something. That you’re special; you for
you. You get to watch the beauty of your own movie, and every Generator has
that as their gift. It’s your gift. It’s always hanging in front of you; it’s always
there. All you have to do is become yourself.

Practical Work
When we get to the program this afternoon, I’m going to talk about very
practical things, about what it takes to become a Generator, things that will
make it easy. And talk about practical things that Generators have to deal with
in terms of trying to live out their true self in a not-self world, and the pressures
that have to do with that.

The Complexity of Generators
But because of your involvement in Design, I also want to give you a chance to
be able to look at the complexity of Generators. And in seeing the complexity
of Generators, begin to understand how you can weave together what I’ve
been describing as individual themes, each of these themes in these various
Gates.
But to begin to see that the vast majority of Generators are going to have
multiple activations in the Sacral Center. They may have multiple definitions
out of the Sacral Center. Then you don’t simply have one theme at work that is
determining the respondability. In other words, not just one theme that says
here is a focus, this is really what we’re responding to, but you get complexity
of themes.
Keynotes
In the work that Alok and I and other teachers of Human Design have been
doing over the years is to try to instill in our students the ability to be able to
keynote. Basically, what keynote means is to be able to string the basic
keynotes, the little formulas for various Gates and Channels, to be able to just
string them together. Because when you string them together, you can then
have an overview formula of the kind of being you’re looking at, or the kind of
information that you’re seeking out.
So, I’m going to take you through some charts now, between now and lunch,
and I’m going to show you some examples of how you can see what a theme
is in the complexity of the Sacral.

in this being. It doesn’t
matter whether somebody
is, as in this case a
Manifesting Generator or
they’re a pure Generator.
It’s one of the discussions
that goes on continually in
Human Design because
there are these two kinds of
Generators.
But it’s very important to

understand the Strategies
remain the same. The way
a Manifesting Generator
and a pure Generator look,
once they make a commitment to something is different, because they have
different capacities. But to be correct in their Strategy, to be correct in their
life, for all Generators, anybody with a colored in Sacral Center, there is only one
way for them. That is, decision making is by response only.
Decisions Are About Response
I was born to teach, but I was raised in a world where the things you taught
were things that other people had taught. When Human Design came to my
life, I had a great challenge in front of me: How to teach this. I’ve had many
ways of describing the Generator Sacral as I’ve matured in my process. I started
with non-initiation and then I went into response. In the end, the only thing
that’s really clear that is absolutely true, as far as I see from my experience, is
that the key to being a Generator is that decisions are about response.

The most important thing in a person’s life is to be able to make a correct,

reliable decision. There is nothing more important. It’s everything in life. If
you’re a Generator, you can always have the right setup for the truth. That
when you have to make a decision, you have to be asked, you have to respond.
This afternoon I’ll talk about how Generators, when they first learn about being
a Generator, think that they have to stop everything. It’s not about that; that’s
called death. It’s about coming to grips with that it’s the decision that matters.
How many times Generators in my life suggest things to me. If I don’t ask
them, if I just assume what they really mean they’re saying and I go along with
it, I’m in for big trouble.
I’ve got someone in my life that they’ll say to me let’s do this, let’s do that, and
I’m all ready to do it, I’m a Manifestor. Twenty minutes later they don’t want to
do it, but they said they wanted to. And if I don’t understand that, I get really
annoyed. But you just said that so why don’t we go.
When I’m dealing with a Generator and the Generator starts a conversation
with me and they say something to me, the only way I can know if they’re
inviting me to do something or they want something, is to say to them, “Do
you really want that? Do you really want to do that?” because it’s the decision
that matters.
So, think about this Being here. This Being has three Gates in the Sacral, two
of them form definitions. And it’s those three Gates together that form the
theme upon which all correct decisions will be made. Because a correct
decision will only be made in that context and no other context.

Grammar
All forms of language are structured on grammar. Human Design’s

BodyGraph is a visible language and there is a grammar, a structure to the way
in which you can interpret activations.
When you’re looking at this Sacral Center, and you have three Gates, two Gates,
the 9th Gate and the 59th Gate are Gates that are leading into definition. These
are verbs. In other words, they’re really what the action is. They’re the verbs.

When you look at the 27th Gate, the 27th Gate which is just an activation, it’s not
a definition, it becomes an adjective. In other words, it becomes a describing
element to each of the verbs. So, that’s the first thing to understand about the
grammar.
When you’re looking at the defined Sacral, look at those Gates that are the
definition, they’re the verb, they’re what it’s all about, they’re the action. But
don’t forget to look at the Gates that are active that are there because those
are the adjectives that are going to tell you the context, if you will, of the verb.
Question: How do you describe

the thing about the grammar?

Verbs & Adjectives
Ok, so let’s look at an example and

look at how easy it is for you to be
able to do that because this is very
easy with keynotes. If you look at
the 59th Gate, it’s part of the
Channel of Intimacy. It is our most
physically reproductive Channel.
It’s about bringing children into
the world.
The 59th Gate: The Verb
We know that the 59th Gate is a genetic, strategic Gate. The thing that is
important to the 59th Gate is that it chooses the right mate. That’s its job, to
respond to the right mate. Now, it turns out that the right mate is the right
genetic mate because that mating is all about reproduction.
Now, that’s the verb. The verb is: I have to respond to the right mate. That’s the
action that is going to determine a response. So if somebody comes up to this

person and says, “Would you like to do business with me?”—it doesn’t have to
be sexual, it can be anything. If that 59th Gate is going, “Uh-uh,” the basic reason
that it’s going “Uh-uh” is that “I don’t think that we can have an intimacy that
is going to lead to something larger.” In other words, that we’re going to have
an intimacy that is going to lead to some creative byproduct, a child, a concept,
whatever the thing happens to be.
The 27th Gate: The Adjective
However, we have an adjective and the adjective is the 27th Gate. What we
know about the 27th Gate is what it cares about most of all is awareness. It cares
about nourishing awareness. So now when this 59th Gate goes, “Uh-uh,” it’s not
just saying “uh-uh,” because you’re not right for intimacy. It said you may be
right for intimacy and it may be fun, but you’re not aware enough because the
adjective is there describing it.
In other words, that person, from those two Gates, any time they’re making a
decision about anything, that’s the criteria. Is it worth it for me to care about
your awareness in this intimacy and will it lead to a byproduct that I really want
to look after for myself for the rest of my life, and on and on.
And you can see why saying, “uh-huh” isn’t something that will come naturally
easily. Now most 59-6s do nothing but break into auras without
understanding what that is really about. It’s very selective. It’s not the capacity
to be intimate with everyone, it’s the capacity to be responding to the right
intimacies. And in this person’s case, right away we know intimacy is deeply
connected to awareness. In other words, it’s not about whether somebody has
a nice body or whatever the case may be. It’s connected to something else, to
a deeper level in them. It’s coming from the adjective.

The 9th Gate: A Verb
There is more here. We have the 9-52, we have a logical format energy. This is
very powerful. We’ve already seen what the 9th Gate is all about and how
important it is, this journey of a thousand miles, the focus, the step by step, the
recognition that this is the way for the Generator.

But not only is this somebody who needs to be focused step by step on its life
process, but, because that’s just the verb, that step by step has to be about
consciousness, has to be about awareness. In other words, the adjective
immediately comes in there and says, “No, you can’t just be focused on
anything. You have to be focused on those things that are going to nourish
awareness.”
Putting It All Together
And then you put them all together, and you’ve got somebody whose story in
life is that they are here to respond to an intimacy that brings them that focus,
that they can concentrate on intimacies that nourish awareness. And it doesn’t
matter whether that’s with the person they work with, the person they love,
the child that they have, every time they’re dealing with making a decision,
that’s the criteria and nothing else.
The Mind Doesn’t Have a Relationship with the Sacral
Your minds just hate what I say. Shut that man up, they say. He’s stripping us
of our power. The mind has it all, doesn’t it? It has all these different
perspectives and views and concepts. And we want to be able to make
decisions based on what we think we should be basing decisions on. “We want
to base it on this, on that,” but the fact is the mind doesn’t have a relationship
with the Sacral.
The mind is up here. “I have a Sacral.” “Really, truly? Well, that’s nice, I hope it
obeys.” The mind doesn’t want to have anything to do with that. So, somebody
comes up with a wonderful concept and it all sounds terrific and delicious
whether it’s a lover, a friend, a business associate, and this Sacral goes, “Uh-uh,”
and the mind goes, “You’re nuts. I want that. Why can’t I have that?”
Sacrals cannot explain. I have a little Sacral boy, he’s 3½. He’s all Sacral, it’s
frightening. He actually tries to start conversations with noises.
Every time this person makes a decision, it’s based on the same thing: I’m only
going to have an intimacy with you no matter what we’re going to do, no
matter whether we’re going to fix a tire or whether we’re going to create
something incredible or we’re going to make love. I’m only going to do that if

I can be focused on this, if I can see that it’s nourishing my awareness.

Otherwise, I won’t have anything to do with it.
Now, if you tell that Sacral person that that’s the way they make decisions, they
get very upset. “I don’t want to make decisions like that, that’s not me. I’m up
here in my head.”
Fooling the Mind
I’ll show you this afternoon how you fool the mind. Fooling the mind is really
good. You have to trick the mind. It seems intelligent, but it’s really stupid.
You have to see how the mind gets in the way all the time.
If you were to meet this person with their configuration, the whole picture
that’s there, you would see somebody that is in and out of relationships all the
time. In and out of this tribe, and in and out of this thing, constantly quitting,
constantly upset, and constantly being forced to run away by others.
This Person Is Here to Have Very Special Relationships
This person is here to have very special relationships. Oh, it’s a wonderful gift.
The 59-6s can get in an aura, but that’s not about the decision to have a
relationship. That’s just a byproduct of the way they are. It’s an aura.
But for them as beings, they have to understand, it’s only very few people that
have a right to be part of that kind of intimacy, and to be able to fulfill the
conditions that this Sacral demands. And you get to see that that person, as
they live that out, will become more refined with who they’re connected to,
and their whole process of awareness will be enriched. That’s what they’re
after, that’s what they’re designed for. That’s what their Sacral is there to teach
them.
The Mind Slowly Begins to Give Up
The thing about the mind is that if you get through the hard part—for
Generators it’s the first year—your mind slowly begins to give up. It slowly
begins to stand back a little and it sort of watches and begins to see that this
conditioning of your decision making is actually a good thing. It’s actually

interesting to what it leads to. That the mind gets new things to look at, and
new things to explore, and most of all, it begins to remember its own lies to
itself.
My mind is so embarrassed that it will never bring up the subject of how bad it
was in running my life. It doesn’t even want to go near there because it
blushes. The mind is a terrible thing; it’s a beautiful thing, but it’s a terrible
thing. When you’re trying to wake up, the worst thing in the world to have is a
mind. If I could take them away for you, I’d give them back after so you could
enjoy it.
Each Generator Is Unique
You really have to see that when you’re a Generator, it’s not just that you’re a
Generator, but each of you is very specific. You have very unique themes of
decision making. Because you set the pattern, and because you make the
decision according to a specific pattern, if you do that, you get exactly what
belongs in your pattern.
That’s what makes life pleasant. That’s what being awake is about. You
suddenly discover there is no traffic jams. You can just drive down the
highway. It’s just the way that it is. And all that is about surrendering to what
your mind doesn’t want you to do. It’s about surrendering to something that’s
truly mechanical.
That’s the great irony for me. Waking up is just a trick. And all it means is that
you have to accept your limitation. You’re limited in the way you respond and
what is correct for you in that response. The moment that you can accept that
limitation by living out your Strategy, you get to see the reward for it. And the
reward is enormous because you get to see your life. That’s the best life of all.

Here is an example of a pure Generator. Looking at this example, one of the

things to notice, is if you’re looking just at the Sacral Center, because all we’re
looking about is how decision thematics operate, you can see there is one verb

and there is one adjective.

In other words, there are
only two activations that
are in the Sacral itself.
The 34th Gate: The

Need to be Guided
We have the 34th Gate. First

of all, the 34th Gate has
great difficulty in making
sounds, so you know that
the sounds of this Sacral
being are going to come
out of their 27th Gate. That’s
something to think about.
Not only that, but what we

know about the 34th Gate is
that it’s designed to be
busy. Remember, we had
the 14 and the 34, and that
was the way the Sacral
stayed occupied, found its purpose through work, found its purpose through
being busy.
But the key to being busy for the 34 is being guided. No 34 can exercise its
power—this is, after all, the Gate of Power—without being guided. In other
words, they don’t know where to put it and they don’t know how to use it, so
somebody is going to have to guide them in order for that to come out.
The power of this being can be seen, it comes out in the Integration Channels,
this is an archetype of Perfected Form, this is an archetype of Survival. It
doesn’t mean, by the way, they’ll survive. You don’t live out your nature, your
very advantages turn against you.
This Person Pulls Guidance to Them

The 27th Gate, what we’ve looked at, this demand of the Sacral through this
Gate that it nourishes and be nourished by awareness, that that’s what it cares
about, that it is only going to use its power to care about awareness when it’s
properly guided. And if it’s properly guided, it will never do that. In other words,
every decision that it’s going to make has to come from being guided by the
outside.
This is a classic archetype of what the Generator is. It is not a dependency.

Remember what the Generator does is that it pulls everything to it and this is
somebody who pulls advice, they pull guidance. And guess what? They hate it
with a passion. It’s not their Sacral that hates, it’s their mind that hates their
Sacral. It’s the mind that doesn’t want to be guided. “I know what to do. And
if I make a mistake, well, I’ll know what to do next.”
Accepting Guidance Only from Those That Are Aware
You know the mind; it’s true. This is somebody that every single decision for
them begins with the right guide and they’re only going to accept the
guidance from those that are aware. They’re not going to accept guidance
from somebody that they don’t consider to be conscious and aware. They’re
not supposed to. Most of the time in their not-self, they’re the only ones they’ll
listen to. And of course, that sends them down all kinds of wrong paths.
It’s just verb and adjective creating limitation and the limitation shows you
where your feed comes from. All Generators pull a specific energy field towards
them and it’s based on their aura, not their mind. So that for every single one
of you, there are the right people on your fractal, they’re all around you. If you’re
correct with them, and as a Generator being correct, you then transform them.
A Limited Way to Make Decisions
It all comes back to the simple mechanics. It comes back to surrendering to

the fact that you have a limited way of making decisions, and that’s your
answer. Every question you have, that’s your answer, and it will tell you what
will come into your life. These two beings that we just looked at, if they’re living
out their nature, the one thing we know about them is one of them is busy with
awareness and the other one is busy making love to awareness. They’re busy.
And they’re busy about the same things and it’s right for them; it’s correct.

That’s their way and they’re going to meet the forces that are right for them to
fulfill that way; no Generator is alone. Every single one of you that wake up,
there is going to be all kinds of beings around you who have been waiting for
that, because this is the way that it works. You are the transforming agents.
You’re the ones that make a difference.
What Others Get When You’re Not Clear
Wherever you are in your life, recognize something about the field around you,
you’re distorting it. Think about that. As long as you’re not clear in yourself, the
patterns you establish, the depression, the this, the that, all the themes that are
in the Sacral, that’s what’s all around you. That’s what everybody is getting
when you’re not clear.
And it just creates this endless distortion that I see in the pattern field. So, we
have so many petty problems. All this mundane dissatisfaction on this planet,
that’s just a breakdown in the pattern. It means there are an awful lot of people
on this planet who don’t know what’s good for them.
The Sacral Is Pure
That’s what this gives you. Your Sacral is never going to tell you anything that’s
not good for you. That’s not its job. It’s your mind that does that. It’s your mind
that’s always telling you things that are not good for you. We know that; we all
know that. The mind is a binary; it’s this and that, it’s full of horrible stuff on
one side, and sort of nice stuff on the other side. Take any situation and your
mind will go find something nasty.
The Sacral is pure. It’s truly pure, and it’s really you. Every time that it speaks
for you in response, it gives you back your purity. It gives you back your
innocence. It gives you back your beauty, and it makes life easier.
I know it’s difficult in the beginning, but I have enough Generators in my life
who have gone through this process who got past it. It’s ok; you survive it. As
a Generator you get to see quickly that it works. And the more you use it, the
more you work with it, the easier it becomes and the more satisfied you
become. Slowly but surely your mind will begin to say, “Well, it’s kind of all
right.”

A Simple Mechanic to Wake Up
It’s a wonderful thing to find out that there is a simple mechanic to wake up,
there’s a simple mechanic to be yourself, to be correct. As simple as it is, it’s
not easy, but the mechanic is simple. The greatest dilemma is the mind. It’s
everybody’s dilemma, but in this particular case in what it is to be a Generator,
the mind is something that just simply doesn’t want to be dictated to by
something it doesn’t understand.
So, one of the first things that happens to Generators when they meet Human
Design is their mind gets the first real glimpse of what it is they don’t like. The
beauty of the mind is that the mind is addicted to measurement and this and
that, and the mind loves to do research because that’s what the mind was
designed to do. The mind is designed to be over here, over there and see all
those things, and have them all hanging around, which is why, by the way, they
don’t make good decisions because that’s not their job. Their job is to collect
information, not to make the decision.
The Mental Strategy: Who Am I?
One of the most important things is that for each and every Type, there is
mental Strategy, there is a mental Strategy to help you through this process.
And for Generators that mental Strategy is that you have to involve your mind
in discovering who you are.
If you’re a Manifestor like me, your mental Strategy is how many people are
going to be affected by a decision I make. And then I’m not in such a hurry to
just do things without informing. It teaches Manifestors that they do impact a
lot of people, and to recognize they impact a lot of people.
Every Type has a Strategy, a mental Strategy. For the non-energy types it’s
different because they have to go through certain levels of educational
process. For the Generator, the Strategy is only: Who am I? That’s the Strategy.
Generators Are Not Meant to be Alone

Ok, how do you get to the Strategy? In order to be able to find out who you
are as a Generator, you cannot find out alone. I called this yesterday, binaries.
First of all, to be a Generator, you cannot be alone. You’re not here to be alone.
And by that I don’t mean that you’re not here to know aloneness, but you’re
not here to be alone. You’re here to be with the other, or with the others.
And in that lies your fulfillment. After all, if you’re here to respond in this life,
the more forces that are around you, the more responses you get to make, the
more clarity there is in your process.
Needing the Help of Others
So, the first thing about being a Generator is to understand that you cannot
mentally wake yourself up without help, you need the help of the other. This
could be a bag of worms, because the other is invariably not-self. And one of
the things you have to recognize about being the Generator is that you have a
very special gift, something no other Type has: You can find out everything
about yourself, everything you’ve ever wanted, and it’s actually very simple: You
just have to be asked. So, somebody has to ask you.
In the first year of the experiment of being a Generator, it is this ability to have
the other and to have the other as a place where you can find out what’s going
on in you all the time. “Am I really ok with this?” as your mind is scrambling
around. And somebody says, “Are you really ok with this?” and you go, “Uh-
huh,” and your mind is saying, “What do you mean? What do you mean?”
Vulnerably
It’s the questions, the very first thing to do as a Generator is to start that
process. And you have to start that process with the other, and you have to
recognize something. The gods play funny games. Generators have the
easiest path to be awake, but it means that the only way you can get there is
by being terribly vulnerable because somebody has to hear your answer.
You’re not fulfilled without an answer being heard. It won’t even be pulled out
of your body without the other.
So, there is this incredible vulnerability that’s built in. It’s not a surprise to me
that what I describe to you was something that was born out of sannyasin

experience, born out of that kind of investigation of how far you can go in being
vulnerable, how far you’ll allow yourself to become vulnerable.
Yet, in the context of Design and in the context of being a Generator, recognize
that to be questioned about who you are is the most vulnerable experience
you’ll ever know and the most revealing you’re ever going to have, because it’s
you, after all, you don’t know; you truly don’t know who you are. You do not
really know what you’re like in this life. You don’t know what’s good for you.
You don’t know for sure; you never know for sure.
The magic of being a Generator is that you can always have the question and
you can know. So, it’s a construct you have to build for your mind because
guess what? Your mind loves it. “Oh, is that who we are? You mean I’m like
that?” It’s like the mind suddenly has everything to investigate. “Hey, look at
who we are!” And that’s your magic.

The Need for Somebody in Your Confidence
I would love it if each and every one of you found one of these therapy types
and say, “Ok now, I want you to pair together and face each other, and really
try this.” That’s not my trip. So, I’m not going to do that.
However, that’s the point. And the point is that I understand it’s not something
that can be done with somebody just because they’re interested in Design or
they’re a Generator, but it has to be somebody who is truly in your confidence.
And that somebody that’s in your confidence, they don’t have to agree with
your principles, concepts, or the way in which you do things. But because
they’re in your confidence, because they are a friend of yours, whatever the
case may be, you can get them to go along with the game. “Ask me.”
If you’re a Generator and you’re starting your process now, the sooner you
begin finding out who you are, the sooner your mind is going to let go. I’ve
watched Generators now who have basically discovered becoming Generators
themselves without any real guidance, just simply dealing with the guidance
of responding and dealing with the guidance of making decisions as a
response.

But it can be a faster, less painful experience because the Generator has this
incredible gift. I can never know who I am. I know it in context when I see my
Design, but I can’t know it in the sense I can hear my own answers to those
questions.
What I can know is what my effect is on the other. I’m a Manifestor, that’s what
I am. I either have an effect on this side or that side, but I can see my effect.
But you as Generators can actually find out who you are right off the bat. You
don’t have to pay a psychologist, you don’t need 20 years on the couch, a
couple of good hours with a friend and you have discovered a new human
being.
And I know so many Generators who have done that. They know the
information and they’re doing their best to respond and they’re slowly
discovering, but their mind is not the ally. Their mind is not on their side. Their
mind is not saying, “Wow, wasn’t that interesting that we’re this or that,”
because the mind has had too much time to play its game and the mind is the
most powerful gameplayer we have. It’s been controlling you all of your lives.
The Mind Needs Something to Play With
One of the things to understand about being a Generator is that you can get
to the mind right away, but you have to show the mind that you’ve got
something for it to play with. The mind is like a good dog. You pat it on its
head, “Good Bruno, have fun, Bruno. Chase this stick over there.” That’s the
mind, and that’s what the mind should be doing, not that the mind is barking
at you at what you should do.
The only way you turn the mind into a nice sweet little Bruno is that you
convince the mind that it’s been absolutely useless to you for most of your life,
because that’s the truth. And that what you thought you thought you thought
you thought was you, is not. Oh yes, there are little hints over here and little
hints over there. It’s not like you’re a totally different person. But you begin to
discover that there are very specific things in you in which you have an
absolute answer.
Finding Your Absolute Answer

You have had metaphysical people forever trying to find the absolute. You’re
walking examples of it. The moment that you are there in that response, that
is an absolute for you. It’s your absolute. And when the first question to you is,
“Are you all right in your life right now?” if you go, “Uh-huh,” it’s true, even
though your mind is saying, “No, no, no, that’s not true. I’ve got this problem
over here and I’ve got that problem over there and I’ve got this thing over here,
but that’s not what the Sacral said.” If the Sacral goes, “Uh-uh,” no matter what
your mind says, “No, come on, we’ve got this over here and we’ve got that over
there.”
One after the other, question and response, question and response, and what
you build is a catalog of who you are. “Do you really like to dress in black?” The
questions go from the most mundane, unless stupid questions, the kind of
things 13 year-olds want to ask rock stars. You go from the most stupid to the
incredibly profound because you can ask a Generator anything and hear their
truth.
Your Response Must be Respected
You don’t have to agree with that, but it’s their truth. This is a place where you
have the second great dilemma of a practicing Generator. Your child says to
you, “Can I do something?” and you go, “Uh-uh,” and the child says, “Why not?”
and you go, “I don’t know.” And you just live with it and you insist on it being
respected.
Human beings don’t know how to make decisions that they can live with,
decisions that they can truly trust, whether it’s about your love for another
being, whether it’s about your responsibilities to yourself, to others, whatever
the case may be, it doesn’t matter what the context is. Your response has to
be respected and you have to see that when you hear your response, you have
to respect it, and let’s see what happens.
Finding Your Flow and Pattern
Remember in the context of being a Generator, this is all about finding your
flow. It’s all about finding the pattern that is you and the flow that you belong
to, and the forces that are correct for you. You get there first by knowing who
you are. You don’t know everything about yourself. You can keep asking

questions, responding as Generators for the rest of your life because life is
moving, changing, and shifting. Circumstances change, environments
change, mutations take place. You’re the protected ones, as long as there is
somebody there to ask you.
My work with Generators is not only do I understand their attractive power and
the power they have to influence the pattern of others, but more than that
their greatest power is they will involve others naturally, otherwise they cannot
discover themselves. And in that you build what is the essential truth. You
build binaries and binaries are the building blocks of life.
And it’s the building of that binary—because one of the things you’ll notice is
that if your friend doesn’t know anything about Human Design and you say to
them, “I would just like you to ask me some questions because I need to hear
my answer,” oh wow, are they going to be impressed.
Their first thought is, “This person is really nuts,” and then they start hearing
the answers, because it’s a process that’s really incredible. Then they get
adventurous and start asking you all kinds of questions, and you get to discover
yourself. It’s beautiful.
But it means you have to recognize you must involve the other and it’s
something you’ve got to start as soon as you know it’s possible. You put this
information inside of you but understand you must use it. It’s the easiest way
for you to discover who is in there. And the only thing for you to recognize and
be so clear about is that it’s going to be somebody that you are comfortable
with.
I know situations where Generators have to select people that are not their
natural selection line for asking a question; those things are always going to
happen. One day that’s going to be normal behavior. It doesn’t seem like it
now.
So, this first step for you, for your mind, but not just for your mind, understand
this is incredibly liberating experience. You have to look around you and you
have to find somebody in your life that you trust enough to try that experiment,
because it’s the first real experiment in becoming the Generator.

You get to hear your response. You get to hear your answer to this and that
and the other. It will give you something to think about, give your mind
something to play with for years. And while your mind is playing with all of
that, you become yourself, and the mind doesn’t get in the way.
The mind eventually will say, “Didn’t we do a good job? Aren’t we terrific? Look
at who we are. I know who we are, I have calculated all the answers.” And the
next time somebody asks you something and you go, “Uh-huh,” the mind will
say, “Last time you said uh-uh, now what’s going on?” The mind will get into
the game and play the game and won’t try to stop you from being a Generator.
So you have to get it in the game right away and turn it into a nice, good dog.

Do Not Ask Your Lover
Don’t rush home and offer to play this game with your lover. Don’t do this. This
is a very bad mistake and this is not the way to do it. First of all, you don’t want
to find out who you are in that way and you don’t want to deal with questions
that are rooted in an old not-self way of dealing with the other.
The reality is in terms of relationship as a Generator, find out about yourself

first, and then work that into your relationship normally, and I’ll talk about that
in a moment. But the first thing I want to tell you is please don’t play this with
your lover, avoid that.
Ask a Friend of the Same Sex
The second thing is, don’t play this game with somebody of the opposite sex.
It’s not a good idea for starting your process. It doesn’t mean you can’t do it
later; later is fine. But it means when you first are going to go into this process
of discovering who it is you are, do it a friend of the same sex and more than
that, it doesn’t matter whether they know Human Design or not. They’ll play
the game if they’re your friend.
I’m an old trickster. I like tricks. I know that if we tell this to enough Generators
and we have enough Generators playing this game, everyone they play this
game with will learn about Human Design and they’ll all want to do it, too. And
some of them will be really annoyed because they’re Projectors. What to do.

Ask Somebody You Trust
But do it with somebody innocent enough. It’s not about them judging
whether your process is right or not, it’s about having an ally. Remember that’s
a key for all of you as Generators, the importance of your allies in life.
And to be able to do this with somebody you trust, but not somebody you have
a relationship with in which all of this is a risk to you, to reveal yourself. You will
not be able to really release what has to be released, and you won’t be asked
the questions you need to be asked.
So, the key for you, for any Generator to wake up now is to get it going. Get the
mind on your side, begin to see who you really are, begin to put into practice
that process. It goes back to what you need in this life: The right people.
Play the Game
You look at those possibilities of who can play with you, because it’s a game,
this is not meant to be taken seriously, this is meant to be enjoyed. You’re all
too damn serious, it’s meant to be enjoyed. It’s really funny to find out you’ve
been a fool your whole life. It’s funny to find out who you really are and to
recognize it’s true. It’s funny, because what’s funny is all the things you
thought you might be, should be is funny.
And if you’re not laughing out loud right away, you’ll get the joke. It’s a game;
play the game with somebody, the game of Who Am I? It’s a game only you
can play. It’s a wonderful game. Play that game and you’ll see that’s awakening
for you. That’s special and you don’t have to wait.
For a Projector, they learn about their Design, then wait five years to get their
chance to really see that the Strategy works. You can sit down with a friend
and know everything about yourself that people have sought all their lives to
know. And all you have to do is sit down and have somebody ask you.
Explain to Your Friend How the Game Works
Obviously, you can’t have somebody ask you who doesn’t know what to do.
You have to explain to them what you want from them. You have to tell them,

“The way in which I know things is out of response. I’m trying an experiment
now to see if that works.” That gives them a way of saying, “Ok, you’re not
totally nuts, you’re experimenting.” You say to your friend, “The way I want to
do this is I want to find out who I am, so try to ask me as many questions as you
can about me, so I have a chance to respond.”
That’s really an adventure, that’s really a journey. I’m not designed to really be
interested in me; never have been. I’ve never thought about me, the
consequences of me, who I am. Here is this vast spectrum of the population
and all I hear about is people trying to find out who they are, and most of the
planet can find out in a couple of hours with a friend. And they’re all running
around saying, “Please doctor, please guru, please master, tell me who I am.”
It’s a joke.
You can find that out and you don’t know how incredibly magical that is until
you start hearing your answers. That intimate in your life is also somebody who
knows you, they know something of your life. They know the kinds of questions
to ask you. They know certain things that are important for you. What comes
out is you.
And you’ll notice something—it takes time, but you notice it—absolute
decisions that come correctly sink like huge stones into the Sacral and they
never shift. They’re incredible truths because they resonate through your
whole being. They resonate underneath the mask; they resonate underneath
the not-self.
Generators Can Wake Up Fast
This is the way the whole thing gets shattered. Out of that comes the real
being, and you can start so quickly. I want Generators to be awake in a week.
I’m tired of waiting seven years. I know there is a biological process, I know all
that, but I figure we should be able to get good enough technically that we can
have Generators wake up really fast.
It’s up to them, it’s not up to us. I can’t put you together in therapy because it’s
not correct. It has to be the right way. It has to be who you find to be that
being, not who the teacher, the coordinator, whatever that is. You have to find
that being.

And in finding that being and setting up the experiment, you already have dug
yourself into the Generator trap and your mind is already working with you.
“What are we going to answer?” And your Sacral says, “We are not answering;
I am answering.” It’s already engaged, and the first answers start coming and
the mind is going “That’s interesting, that’s different. I didn’t know you really
liked that.”
There is this incredible process. It’s the most important thing you’re going to
do to begin your generating process. And everybody you meet along the
way—many of you are teachers and analysts—that is a Generator, open that
door for them. It’s magical. There you are getting instant gratification, instant
truth. It sounds like an American pill!

The Cool and Hot Games
Everything in Human Design can be seen through binaries. There isn’t one
awakening game for the mind, there are two. There is the cool game and there
is the hot game. The cool game is played by Generators who have an
undefined emotional system and the hot game is played by Generators who
have a defined emotional system. Obviously, they’re different, and they’re
about half and half. Half of all Generators are emotional.
So, think about the game that has to be played. I said before I want to see
Generators awake in the week. The cool game takes an evening. If you’re a
Sacral and you play the cool game, in one evening, you get all the questions,
you have all your absolutes, you have your answers, finished, now go out and
see what happens in your life. That’s the cool game.
The hot game takes a week, because with the hot game you have to do it twice.
You’re an emotional being. It means the way you set up the game with your
friend has to be more precise. Because what you really want is not that
everything they ask you the first time is repeated, but the major themes that
they ask you about the first time needs to be repeated.
There is no greater awakening for an emotional being than that experience.

Most of what you go “uh-huh” or “uh-uh” to will be consistent. But oh boy,
there will be things in there that are not, and they will give you a deep insight

into processes that you’re not clear about yet because that’s the emotional
being. And you’ll have those things you can really be clear about yourself.
No Absolute for the Emotional Being
Remember for the emotional person, there is no truth in the now, never will
be, never can be. And for the emotional person, there is no absolute. The cool
game is an absolute game. “Do you love me?” “Uh-uh” “Ok, that’s it, story over.
No problem.”
You play the hot game and on the first day you go, “Do you love me? Do you
love George or Judy?” or whatever, “Uh-uh.” A week later it’s “uh-huh.” Now
you know you have a problem, because now you really don’t know whether
you do love George or Judy.
If they ask you the first time, “Do you like your work?” and you go “uh-huh.”
And they ask you the second time and you go “uh-huh,” you know you like your
work. Then you have a basis upon which you can deal with things and you
have your clarity about you.
But it’s magical for emotional beings to really hear that. It’s like, “I don’t really
know that.” And of course, some days you think you do and some days you
think you don’t. If two weeks later your friend says, “What do you think of John
or Judy?” and you’ve got one or the other, you can slowly begin to see a trend.
Eventually you’ll get to a point where you have certain clarity about whether
John or Judy is worth all that trouble you’re going through, trying to track
down whether they’re important to you or not.
Understanding Scale
One of the first things that enlarged my own consciousness was

understanding scale. The moment you understand scale, you understand that
human beings are conditioned to and box things in different ways that they
then create prejudices based on that. When I look at an emotional person that
is correct and processing correctly through the emotional system, I’m deeply
impressed because they know so much more than I do as a momentary
Splenic “yes” or “no.”

I have no idea why I said “yes” or “no.” I have no idea why I say what I say. If I
were an emotional being, I’d have to go through the process of feeling
everything I say and going through the up and down. And yet, there would be
an enormous depth there.
For me, when I see the way of an emotional being, what I see is a moving
camera, I see a moving lens. I see a moving perspective. I see the capacity to
pick up all kinds of detail that the moment never has.
Now, that’s not a prejudice. It’s not like saying the emotional clarity is actually
deeper than Splenic awareness. It’s not a comparing game. But it’s about
understanding not to compare it. If you’re an emotional person not to feel like
the cool game is the better game, or the easier game, because it isn’t. It’s
different.
And in the cool game, that absolute that comes in an evening that stays with
you the rest of your life is quite a trip. With the hot game, at least you go
through your wave, you sort of check it out, you have a little bit of time.
The Emotional Being
But you have to see the magic of what it is to be correct as an emotional

person. There is nothing more beautiful. After all, this is the place where our
most significant mutation is going to take place. This is a fabulous
environment. Yet we know the emotional system is diseased. We know that;
we see it everywhere around us.
The reality is when an emotional being recognizes that there is no truth in the
now and the Sacral generative emotional being recognizes there is no truth in
the now means that they have to play the game differently. That what that
Sacral being says as “uh-huh” in this moment isn’t necessarily the truth for
them in the next moment. It means that decisions are never decisions made
quickly.
So, when they discover who they are, they’re not going to do it in an evening.
They’re going to get tastes in an evening, and then they’ll go through that
process of the week and they’ll move in many ways depending on their nature
and their Design, and many things will move through them and they’ll process

them. And they’ll get to that next place and they’ll go through that process
again and they’ll begin to see what’s clear and what isn’t.
The consistency will point clearly to what is their real truth. And they will see
those things that are still question marks in that lack of clarity. The not-self
envies such things. What a gift you have. You truly get to be able to see who
you are, you get to work from a framework of who you are. So from then on,
responding is the most natural thing.
You end up responding to being you. It’s perfect. But you have to see
emotional beings have to respect time—time is everything for them—and that
they play the hot game. So when you get your friend involved, they have to
understand how the hot game goes. “I’m going to need to go over this again
to really see where I am, and to really see what my level of clarity is.”
Know Thyself
They get the same results. They get the same quality of self-knowledge that
makes Generators different than anybody else. You are here to know thyself.
They put that sign up for you, not for me. The whole theme is it’s for you.
The moment you know who you are, the moment you live the response of that,
that’s the moment that you really are the transforming agents that all of you
were intended to be. You don’t have to go out there and be missionaries, you
just have to live your life. And have enormous impact, this pulling of this pure
Sacral energy, the real builder’s energy, to be working with forces that are
correct for you.
Seducing Your Minds
And it all starts with seducing your minds; that’s all. Get the mind away from
being the enemy. Get the mind from its position of insisting that it knows
what’s best for you. And as a Generator it’s so easy to do that because the
moment that you start answering those questions, whether it’s the cold game
or the hot game, the moment you start answering those questions as a Sacral
being, your mind is in shock.

By the way, it won’t let you know that. It doesn’t want to show its weaknesses
right away. It’s hoping you’ll break down and give up the game. It’s hoping
you’ll go back and be the same, the mess you were, so it can be in control of
the mess because that’s what it loves doing.
The Mind as Outer Authority
The moment you start that is the moment that the mind recognizes it doesn’t
really know who you are. It can’t, but it can learn, like you. Through the mind
it can learn what it is to be you, that’s a great treat. Then mind is a wonderful
ally because then with your mind, you can give your mind its natural Outer
Authority, and you can give this knowledge to somebody else.
That’s what the mind is for. I’ve said it endlessly in my work as a teacher. My
mind is wonderful for you; it’s useless for me. I wouldn’t let my mind buy me a
cup of coffee, I’d probably burn my tongue. My mind doesn’t have any
authority in this life.
This is what mind is for, the beauty of what we can share with the other
because it gives us a way to translate these concepts and provide them to
others. When you put your mind in its right place, it accepts it. It even takes
credit. “After all, without me you couldn’t learn this stuff.” It really takes credit.
“We’re still the best,” but it doesn’t make your decisions anymore, and that’s
the whole point.
The Need for Basic Information of Human Design
So, this experiment—I don’t think that works for a stranger, this kind of
approach to becoming a Generator and really getting into the awakening
process. Most of that should begin with somebody getting a reading, whether
that’s an overview or a more detailed reading. But they certainly need to have
the basic information about what it is that they are in terms of being a
Generator.
But the moment that somebody has come to that in their geometry, instead
of what I’ve done for all these years, because it’s a learning process, you send
them out there and say, “Don’t initiate,” and they lock themselves in their

rooms. They disconnect the telephones. They alienate half the planet, and
they’re waiting for the gods to show up and invite them to the dance.
I now want to give them a chance to have a little more organized process. Call
a friend, set up your game and play for the joy. You’ll be nervous. It’s not a
comfortable thing to enter into, but that’s why you need to enter into it. It’s
why you need somebody you can trust, that you do need a friend that even if
you do make a complete ass of yourself, they don’t really mind because they’ve
seen it before. You can just do your thing. Immediately you really have access
to the miracle of what you are and what you can be in this life.

Practice
When you go through this experience, and remember when I say it’s an
absolute, recognize that in an evening you don’t find out all your truths about
yourself, obviously. But what you’re going to find are essential truths about
yourself. Whether it’s the cold game or hot game, you’re going to find the
absolutes about yourself that you need to start your process and have your
mind allied for you.
But from that moment on, it’s the practice that matters. In other words, it’s not
just simply about discovering who you are, beginning to see who this being is,
but living it. And it means living it in a way in which you deal with the world
around you.
The Power of the Sacral
There are some very simple things to recognize. The first thing I want you to
discover is how powerful your Sacral is as a pulling mechanism. You’re all
basically tow trucks. You all have this capacity to slap on a winch, pull
everything up to you, because that’s what you do. And then all of you are
running around trying to start things, which is enormously funny.
The thing to recognize about being set up to be yourself is that if you don’t do
anything—it’s like waking up in your household. Try waking up in your
household one morning and don’t say hello to anybody. Don’t say good
morning to anybody. Smile. You’re alive but force them all to come to you.

“Are you ok?” “I need something for school.” (mmm sound). In other words,
you can set up the game right away because they will not walk away from you.
They’re just pulled by your Sacral and they’re so used to you telling them all
these things that when you don’t there is this incredible, “Are they ok? You’d
better talk to them. You should ask them something.” And they don’t even
know they have to do that, but that’s the power of the Sacral. You have to learn
to see how powerful your aura is, that it pulls that.
You go out to a café and you’re sitting with some friends, it’s very nice. (shh
sound) And I’m not saying that as a permanent state, please understand. I’m
talking about discovery. Just (shh) and watch what happens. Your friends are
talking and all of a sudden, they’re looking at you. “You’re not talking. Why
aren’t you talking?” And then they ask you something. The moment they ask
you something, you get to respond and it’s correct. You begin to discover who
you are, you begin to discover the way things really work for you. And it’s all
about trusting what you are as a Generator.
When I sit in this chair, if it wasn’t for the cosmic safety belt, I’d be smack dab
into all of you, because there is this generative pull that is—I’ve got G force
pulling on my system. If I ever do a class with emotional people, I have to have
Kleenex near me, and here I need seat belts so as not to be pulled off my seat.
You have to understand that about yourself, that’s your power. It’s not like you
have to shout at somebody, “I’m over here,” because you’re pulling them. One
of the things to recognize that as long as you’re not-self you pull
indiscriminately and you pull every piece of this and that to you, and it’s not
nice.
You Learn when You Fail
So, the practice of Human Design, the beginning of that for you, as a Generator
is to begin to explore the power of your Sacral. This is Catholicism, pardon the
expression. There is no dogma here. It’s not like you have to be that concept
all the time when you start.
I want you to fail. I want you to get to that point where you say, “I don’t have
time, I’m an emotional Generator, I can’t wait to know if I’m clear. I’m going to
do it now because that’s how I feel.” And when you break your leg and you’re

in a hospital, you’re going to become a really good Generator because it’s those
wakeup calls that get you. That’s when you realize that’s what happens when
you’re not being you.
The Integrity of Your Sleep
And two basic things: Sleep. Don’t go to sleep on anybody’s clock. You go to
sleep when you can’t stay up anymore. Only then. It’s very important for your
health and don’t worry about how many hours of sleep you get. You’ll begin to
discover what your real physical timing is, but it’s very important for you.
This is one of the curses of sleeping with somebody. I’ve been telling people
for 15 years to not sleep in the same bed. I haven’t slept in the same bed with
a woman in so long I can’t even imagine what that’s like. It would be a horror
to even contemplate having somebody in my room when I go to bed. Poverty
does that, 15 Hindus in one room, and you have all of these human beings who
could afford to have separate rooms.
One of the things to recognize how important that is for your sleep, because
you have a lover who says it’s time for bed, what they’re saying is let’s make
love, or whatever the situation is, because it’s only men that resist. There isn’t
a woman I’ve ever told in my readings, years after years, that they should really
have their own bedroom, they go (sigh). When I say that to men, they say,
“What do you mean? I can’t get laid anymore? What’s going to happen to
me? This is rejection.” You really have to see how important that is.
So, if your lover goes to bed and says, “Come on” and they turn off the lights
and start sleeping, you say “I’ll be there in a little while.” They’re hassling you,
“Come on.” For a Generator it’s awful. So, you have to have the right privacy,
the right to have a space you can go to bed in, your space, what you want, when
it’s correct for you, when you’re tired. And you don’t have to be in somebody
else’s aura, you don’t have to be conditioned by that aura while you’re sleeping.
By the way, it doesn’t mean that you don’t make love. It doesn’t mean that you
don’t have a good relationship. That’s not what it’s about. It’s about the
integrity of your unconscious because you’re going to be unconscious. So
what if there’s somebody there; get them out, you won’t need them beside you

when you’re unconscious. It won’t do you any good, and you can go to sleep
when it’s correct for you to go to sleep.
Explore What Food Is Good for You
The other thing is food. Generators are physically the sickest people on the
planet. Not only because they are this large chunk, but they have the worst
eating habits of anybody on the planet. Just like they don’t know who they are,
they have no idea what to eat. One of the basic things to be asked is always to
be asked whether you’re a carnivore, a vegetarian, to really find out, to begin to
explore what food is good for you.
And please recognize how important it is. You are power people. The quality
of your generating is dependent on the fuel that you put into it. And it’s not
about whether it is healthy food or not healthy food. Some of you will only go
“Uh-huh” to junk food, and it will be perfect for you. And some of you will only
go “Uh-huh” to the purest vegetarian whatever, and it will be perfect for you.
But find out.
The most important place to find that out is in going out. It’s one of the things
I love about Spain, you go out, we eat, we enjoy cafés and restaurants, this is a
way of life here. As a Generator, you have to see how dangerous that
environment is for you unless you treat it correctly. Don’t go in some place
knowing what you want. Because the moment you go into a restaurant
knowing what you want, you’re not going to get the meal that is right for you.
When I say, “right for you,” I’m just talking about taste. I’m talking about what’s
right for you as a physical being, what energy is correct for you. Every
Generator should have the opportunity of a waiter or waitress that stands there
in front of them and offers them a selection. One of the tricks for Generators
in restaurants, if you’re going out to have a meal, is ask what the special is, what
is recommended here, what’s good here, tell me.
A funny thing for me, there is a lot of restaurants that have very talented
waiters and waitresses who can run off 17 different dishes that are available
that night. I’m a Manifestor, I walk into a restaurant, I know what I want. It’s
the same thing I had last time I was in a restaurant. And when they start doing
this whole thing, I go into a brown study and fade away.

But the Generator beside me—this was a wonderful experience—was like, “Uh-
uh” 17 times. I was going nuts. I said, “Find one you like.” This is the whole thing
about being a Generator. It sounds funny, but—I’m a 10.1, part of my message
is: Let us make sure our behavior is no longer general but specific. Everybody
has the right to their correct specific behavior.
The Future Mutation Is Based on Diet
And because Generators dominate the world, how we eat is in the hands of
Generators. I know that the mutation that we’re moving towards is all based
on diet, it’s based on diet being properly consumed. Not everybody should eat
Sushi. Not everybody should eat this or that.
And for you to really see what’s right for you, you’ll discover something else.
You’ve got a clean colon, because everything you put in goes out that has to
go out. You know how sick people are because the food that goes in is not
designed to go out properly, so it doesn’t. You’ve got all these people that are
carrying decades old shit inside of their bodies, and it’s because they don’t
know how to eat. They put the wrong fuel into their body all the time.
Everyone Has a Unique Diet
The first thing for a Generator to discover about themselves is what food is
good for them. It’s not what somebody says in some magazine. I read a statistic
the other day that there are 126,000 diet books in America. This is real insanity.
And if you listen to people who say, don’t eat this, it will give you cancer, don’t
eat this, don’t eat that, wow. The whole point to recognize is that each and
every one of us has a unique diet and you discover that diet as yourself. When
you discover that diet, it’s an extraordinary efficiency.
It’s like having a car and putting the best fuel in it, there is a subtle
transformation. It’s better fuel. And it’s the right fuel which means it goes in
properly, it gives you the nutrition that is correct for you. The waste leaves the
body properly, and you have precisely the right energy. It’s very important.
It’s like my kids, because they are Generators and they are young, they’re
always asked if they like this food, they’re not just given the food. So, we’ve
been able to develop a diet for them based on what they like. Now, some

things you have to be careful with. My little one would like to have coffee and
chocolate all the time, which I don’t think is particularly the right thing to get
into at this stage. But nonetheless, by asking, you get the response, and you
get to see what is good for them and what will go into their bodies that’s
healthy for them.
Sleep and food are very important for you. The right rest and you can enjoy
being a Generator. The right food in you, then you have the right power of
being a Generator, and then living out your response. And then you have the
right vehicle operating correctly and the passenger inside can sit back and say,
“All right, let’s discover now. Let’s see what this is all about. Let’s find out what
we’re meant to do. Let’s see our purpose. Let’s see what life really is for us.”
