It is indeed devastating to see this

picture. However, it is the reality here in our country. It portrays how a human’s dignity is degraded.
Because when we see these people on the streets, we judge them and we ignore their call for help. I
believe that these actions are insult to human dignity because I believe that no matter how we dress,
how high and low our social status are, we all are created in image and likeness of God. Therefore, we all
have equal dignity. If only we have a just society, we will have no partiality. As it is said on a Bible verse,
Acts 10:34, “God shows no partiality.” In other words, God shows no favoritism. If God does not show
favoritism, then we should be able to do so. We should be capable of hearing the help of these less
fortunate people and aid them. Rather than try to steal funds and use them for our own satisfaction.
Humans are all willed by God. Therefore, we are carrying God’s image and I believe that since we carry
God’s image, therefore it is our will to help and aid these less fortunate people.
