Letter of Intent

I am writing in reference to the scholarship for the Bachelor Degree in Nursing at Turkish Scholarship
announced on https://tbbs.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr. It has always been my happiness to be a patient's assistant. As
for high-quality study programs in Turkey, l am very much enthusiastic to get the best benefit of the advanced
education Turkish universities offer. l am sure that I will gain a lot of information from studying there, especially
with one of the best academic staff around the world and with professional practice under their guidance. From
my childhood, as I learned from my father who was a doctor, I used to hit syringes for my family members when
they were sick. I was very interested that I started to search about how to use different kinds of syringes. After l
learned how to use intravenous and intramuscular syringes, I started hitting them for sick people in my
neighborhood. After that, I began to work with my father in his clinic and I got a lot of experience, such as how to
deal with patient people and what to do in some emergencies. I also joined a summer center under the auspices
of the UNICEF organization at Ibn Majid School in my home country for two months and I was evaluated as the
best student in Science. I have a very strong desire to pursue my studies in the area of nursing, but due to the
current situations in Yemen, I am not able to study the bachelor degree. I believe that if I help sick people to get
rid of their pain and their sickness, that will be the first step in achieving my big dream. But how many patients
will I be able to help alone? As you know, one soldier does not make a battle. We must have an army of
specialists. And I am creating this army. To have a big hospital in my home country and to make the best team
of the Yemeni students who I will meet at Turkish universities and come back together to work in our country is
my big dream. I am all hope that my dream to study in Turkey will come. Furthermore, I am positive that we will
be good arbiters between my country and Turkey in the future. Being able to help Yemen stand again facing
difficulties is my goal. Studying in Turkey is the first goal on my path and it will flatten the other goals to develop
Yemen and make it a better place to live. I might have chosen different majors in the application due to my past
habits and desires. However, the nursing department is what I really find myself in. I am certain I will be a great
candidate owing to some reasons. For my experience in this field, I have done many courses, such as First Aid
and Emergency First Response, Intravenous Solutions, Parenteral Administration, Glucose and Vital Signs
Measuring, Dressing, and Suturing Skills, and Medical Terminology. I am going to take The TOEFL Test this
month and I am about to finish studying the Dutch language. I also memorize parts of the Holy Quran and I
hope to finish memorizing all of it by the end of Ramadan.
