I am very grateful to you for the opportunity to write about myself being the candidate for master’s
in College of Natural sciences for the Program Microbiology at your esteemed institution. I
would like to articulate my candidacy in terms of my vision about life, education, academic career,
future academic plans and innate motivation to materialize my vision.
I, Sana Andleeb, date of birth 15/06/1997, resident of village Chak No: 492GB Tehsil
Tandliawala and District Faisalabad Punjab, Pakistan, want to get admission in Master College of
Natural sciences for the Program Microbiology from China to develop my skills for career
growth.
Academic Background (学术背景);
“Education is a process which enables an individual to distinguish between the true and false, the
good and bad, the right conduct and evil-doing”. Education is an essential tool that is applied in
the influential and intellectual world to achieve success, as it mitigates the challenges which are
experienced in life. In fact, it is a key to the enlightenment of mankind. Nelson Mandela was
quoted saying, ‘‘Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
In addition, it intensifies our self-assurance and provides us with the abilities required in today’s
world. It also enables us to become more independent and aware of what is going on around us.
From the Beginning of my academic career, Science is my favorite subject because of my foremost
interest in the practical implementation of my knowledge. Its science that gives me logical answers
to my questions related to my nature. I am currently student of last semester in department of
Zoology at “Government College Women University Faisalabad”, Pakistan, with a degree in
Zoology with a CGPA 3.62 upto 7th smester. My expected date for the completion of degree in
Zoology is July 2021. I have been a quick learner, mostly considered to be motivated to learn new
things from cognitive people and team. Along with the textual studies, life made me to learn many
things in everyday happenings and sprang practical lessons. Also, the field of studies made my life
so much virtual than a spatial body. In practice I have come across many lifestyles, began from
my village Chak No. 492GB (Tehsil Tandliawala District Faisalabad). I had to move to
Muridwala city for better educational institution from where I matriculated with excellent marks
in 2014. After that I completed my intermediate studies from Ahsan Model Girls Digree College
Samundri. Then I moved to Faisalabad, Pakistan where I am completing my graduate degree. I am
an active somehow indulgent student among others during my graduate studies, very often
involved in many curricular and cocurricular activities more prominently in organizing
conferences and arranging seminars.

A social and hardworking person, who excels to work in a challenging environment, who always
remain consistent to achieve the best results by solving technical and social issues, analyzing
information and digesting figures. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills and
swiftly identify the root of any problem developing an effective solution.
By fact, I am socially active person with friendly nature, a good communicator indeed who is
blessed with many friends. I keep a keen view to the reality of life thus approach people with
positive mind and attitude and always prove to be helpful with honest efforts and true dedication.
Besides that, I always feel very joyous and fortunate to meet and greet people belonging to different
backgrounds and cultures. As such meetings are always important because they prove to be
beneficial in future also it makes things easy to cope whether one works or studies in his own
country or outside the country.

Motivation to apply for (申请动机):

I believe in education as an umbrella term which carries with it not only subjects but all the
institutions of the life. I have always exerted potential to keep a ramping balance in all the
dimensions of education. I am optimistic that my participation in all healthy activities in assigned
institution will enable me to play a vital role as a constituent of society. I believe that a
postgraduate and doctoral study will provide a milestone in my career along with valuable
experiences that will allow me to become an innovative, determined professional and assist in
accomplishing my goals.

Reasons to study in China (来华学习的理由):

When I decided to obtain my higher education in the field of Zoology from abroad, I Chose China
as my higher education destination. Now the question arises, “Why China? I think I don’t need
to explain reasons in detail as nowadays the whole of the world is much known with China’s rapid
economic growth & its fast-growing economy, technological advancement and the global ranking
education confidence further and I am highly satisfied with the decision I have taken. China is
famous world over for quality education, so having a degree from such a country would be of great
importance to me. The high-quality education of China is solely built on the solid commitment to
excel in the world. China is well known for contemporary modern cities with very clean
countryside. This country has quite a good mixture of different cultures of the world allowing
broader vision development along my course of study. China offers the friendly environment and
international scholarships and the warmest welcome to the international students. My internet
search about studying in China has given me a lot of confidence and excitement to get my
education in the field of Zoology where I would learn to socialize among a blend of different
cultures. The weather China would not be a much of the problem for me as I have had experience
of such kind of weather in my own country. I would consider it an honor if I could study at Jinzhou
Medical University and assure you that I will put in my utmost efforts into this domain. For
studying in China, I am prepared to face any challenges and eager to seize every opportunity to

Because, this university is one of the top university in china, i am applying to your institution
because of the cutting-edge facilities and availability of renowned and committed faculty. It’s been
proven that Chinese universities are among the best universities in the world. Therefore, my
admission into your esteemed program and the outstanding Jinzhou Medical University is prime
importance for me. With my previous knowledge and professional skills, I am fully equipped to
meet your expectations. I wish to pursue Master’s degree in Agriculture and biological sciences
for Ecology program and through this program as it allows me to affiliate my interest in this field,
gain new knowledge from various domains and then apply them in my career positively.

Study/Research Plan (学习计划):

After arriving in China my study plan will be as follows:
I would like to apply for master’s degree in Natural sciences for the program Microbiology because
I believe Natural sciences is creative and Collaborative profession, as much as a technical one. I
firmly believe that the experienced faculty of your University will improve my skills, ideas and
analytical ability. I am already working on Biogas/Biofuel and Microbiology in Marine Science
under the supervision of Dr. Safina Kousar (PhD Assistant Professor) and Dr. Tamseela Mumtaz
(Head of Department, PhD Assistant Professor), Cell and Molecular Biology Lab, GCWUF. My
research work has been focused on determining various microbes that are transmit in human to elicit
metabolic disturbance. I have learnt various techniques in CMBL including Extract Preparation by
soxhlet apparatus, rotary evaporator, DNA/Protein Extraction, Cell Culture Techniques, SDS
PAGE, Western Blotting, Gel Electrophoresis, Spectrophotometry, Antimicrobial assay and
Antifungal assay. This caught my attention and created a thirst of knowledge in me to study my
chosen course. My motto is to work in an international field related to Zoology. The time
arrangement for Masters in the field of Natural sciences will be as follows:

 I would invest my time in covering course work and research work simultaneously as I am
pretty confident that I am capable of doing it.
 During my studies, I will wholeheartedly focus on the Chinese language as a vital addition
to my learning. Alongside, I will also participate in seminars.
 I will carry out my research plan, arrange detailed experimental plan, analyze the results and
modify the schemes. High quality research papers are expected to be published in
international academic journals during this period because I am already writing my research
articles to improve and polish my research abilities.
1. Therefore, I would like to gain deeper theoretical and practical knowledge in starting and
managing most innovative projects. During my studies, with great hidden abilities in
myself I will try to come up with the best of everything; to accompany the professors and

 university colleagues. After completion of my Ph.D. studies, I hope to be able to take part
in maximizing my country’s research technology and serve them with Knowledge. I am
interested in securing a seat of master’s College of Agriculture and biological sciences
with research option on ((DNA repair mechanisms in hyper thermophilic archaea) in
Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program. And my preferences are
as below;
 Marine Natural Science
 Applied Microbiology
 Industrial Microbiology

University and that have better future prospective. I would like to apply for the MS degree in College
of Natural sciences for the Program Microbiology ((DNA repair mechanisms in hyper
thermophilic archaea) studies in China because of educational thirst. In order to fulfill my
educational craze, I know that China is the best place to learn in educational and research areas. As
a human being, Chinese people are very kind and big heart to appreciate everyone to learn from their
expertise. My motto is to work under the esteem supervision of the world’s most talented and highly
successful Nation and then serve my Nation by following the same roots. I wish to do my higher
studies in Microbiology with the intension to obtain an MS and possibly PhD later to engage myself
in research and teaching as a career. Having obtained the advices from my professors, seniors and
colleagues about my choice of Universities, I have applied to Jinzhou Medical University as it is
reputed for research facilities and resources. The web site also revealed a very strong faculty
involved in extensive research in Agriculture and biological Science, in different research fields.
This has strengthened my resolve to study at Jinzhou Medical University. At the beginning of the
last year, I will finish the research thesis formalities. I will return to my country as soon as I finish
my master study program. Looking forward to an opportunity to show my potential and would be
grateful if I get the opportunity to study at your university with financial assistance. After
completion of my master’s studies, I hope to be able to take part in maximizing my country
environmental research in the field to benefit its policy formulation and benefits. This will
contribute to a sound economy that will in turn improve the poor living standards of the Pakistani
people. I believe that this master’s program will provide me with a solid understanding of the
fundamental tools of Natural sciences analysis that employed to conduct rigorous research
biological sciences. I hope that I can gain more experience in dealing with situation, people and
demands which will be of a great help in my future career.
