There Surely Shall Be A Provision
There Surely Shall Be A Provision
EXODUS 5:11
Afterwards, Moses and Aaron went in and told Pharaoh, thus says the Lord God of
Israel; let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.
WILDERNESS: An unsettled and uncultivated tract of land left in its natural state
Provoked, the king asked that they not be given straw, but were still required to
produce same number of brick per day
This was a diversionary tactics. To put the people under intense pressure so that
they will even forget about the request they were making
Most at times we move out to pursue that one thing that has been laid on our
hearts, but knowing how great and how powerful and successful we will become,
the foe tries bringing some impediments just to weigh us down.
But this morning encourage us all to listen to what that still voice is telling us and
not the distractions
The very people that Moses and Aaron tried helping, due to the small scare from
the king grumbled and accused Moses and Aaron of putting a sword in the hands of
the Egyptians to kill them.
Don’t be surprised in in your quest to pursuing new things that will bring greatness,
due to some challenges, the people in your life whom you thought should have
given you encouragement, now turn against you.
EXODUS 5:22: Moses returned to the Lord to clear his mind on many things
EXODUS 6:1: Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh. For with a strong hand he
will let them go and with a strong hand he will drive them out of his
land.

Whatever has been holding back your progress will give up on you this year
Your own not too pleasant situation will speak to you to leave now for greatness
EXODUS 6:3: I appeared Abraham, Isaac, and to Jacob as GOD ALMIGHTY but by my
name THE LORD I did not make myself fully known to them.
Special as we are this dispensation he has fully revealed himself and relates to us as
the LORD
REMEMBER
1. Though the Israelites faced a certain red, a state of hopelessness, but God
made a way – for every RED SEA, there is an equal MOSES’ HAND TO BE
STRETCHED
2. The Israelites went HUNGRY – but God provided MANNA and QUAILS
3. The Israelites were faced with WATER OF MARAH – but God provided a LEAF
to be DROPPED IN
4. The Israelites went thirsty with no water on sight – but there was a certain
ROCK and a certain STAFF of MOSES

all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have
put on the Egyptians. For I am the Lord who heals you.
