Motherboard

It is the main part of the system unit, which

connects all the parts together.

Processor: is a small chip that resides in computers

and other electronic devices. Its basic job is to
receive input and provide the appropriate output.

Expansion Slots

An expansion slot refers to any of the slots on a

motherboard that can hold an expansion card to
expand the computer's functionality, like a video card,
network card, or sound card.

Serial Port
is a serial communication physical interface through
which information transfers, either in or out, one bit at
a time

is a type of interface found on computers (personal

Main Storage-Memory
Primary storage (also known as main
memory ) is the component of the
computer that holds data , programs
and instructions that are currently in
use. Primary storage is located on the
motherboard . As a result, data can be
read from and written to primary
storage extremely quickly.

Random Access Memory-RAM

Random-access memory is a form of computer memory

that can be read and changed in any order, typically used
to store working data and machine code. A random-access
memory device allows data items to be read or written in
almost the same amount of time irrespective of the
physical location of data inside the memory.

Read Only Memory-ROM

Read-only memory is a type of non-volatile memory
used in computers and other electronic devices.
Data stored in ROM cannot be electronically
modified after the manufacture of the memory
