We have received your request for account activation. Our team is now reviewing the corporate
information and documents you provided. If we have no further questions, your account should
be activated shortly.

In the meantime, as part of our compliance obligations, we are required to ask from you a
notarized Secretary’s Certificate stating the name of the person authorized to transact business
with PayMongo on behalf of your business and the bank account where we can send you the
funds for payouts and settlements.

Since this document needs to be witnessed by a qualified notary public, unfortunately we

cannot do it during the activation process (I wish we could!). So, to make it much easier for you,
we have prepared a template below that you can have printed, filled out, signed and notarized.

Please send us the notarized copy directly via email to onboarding@paymongo.com.

While we can activate your account and you can start accepting payments without
this document, we will need this before we can release any of your payouts.

I’ll be the first to admit that this can be a friction; we do this to make sure that you and your
customers are protected. We are working with our partners and the government to continuously
find ways on how to improve our processes while still meeting our compliance obligations.
