First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to Allah Almighty who is the
supreme beneficent and authority knowing the ultimate realities underlines all
phenomena going on this universe, blessed me to fulfill this task and achieves the
goals of my life.
I would like to acknowledge the support of my Family as I could not be able to
achieve such a level of experience without their support.I would also like to
thank Mr.Komail Abbas of 7News Network Group
I would like to convey my sincere gratitude to my Internship Supervisor,
Mr.Rashid producer at Production department of 7News for his kind direction
and proper guidance. He was my mentor and he had supported me a lot during
my Internship Period.I would like to thank all the other staff members, Technical
Staff, Cameramen, and NLE Staff to make my Internship journey remarkable.

INTRODUCTION

We all know, that the media is the fourth pillar of democracy, which exercises
this right of freedom of speech and expression. 7NEWS is a big popular name in
the media industry of Pakistan launched in 2016. 7NEWS is a National and
International-based news channel that broadcasts news and information about
the latest happenings and events in the world. 7NEWS is an Urdu language
current affairs television. This news channel covers news throughout the world.
This channel is owned by Komail Abbas who is the founder of the seven News
Network Group.

7NEWS is Urdu language news and current affairs television channel from
Pakistan launched in 2016. Its head office is situated in Lahore Pakistan. Its
medium is Urdu and it can be signified in Pakistan's media industry. The target
of this news channel is covering all the social-economical, financial, and political
issues happening in Pakistan and other areas of the world.

7NEWS is Pakistan's channel on Satellite which was launched in 2016. 7NEWS

is an Urdu language current affairs television channel from Pakistan launched in
2016. Its head office is situated in Lahore Pakistan. Its medium is Urdu and it
can be signified in Pakistan s media industry. The target of this news channel is
covering all the social-economical, financial, and political issues happening in
Pakistan and other areas of the world.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:
WORKING POSITION

I worked as an associate producer in 7NEWS which is headed by Komail Abbas

In this organization, I worked as an AP (Associate Producer) in the News room.
My task was to edit the assignment with the help of slugs . When the news is
ready for on-air, I changed the slug col from yellow to green. I learned Urdu
typing by using in-page software in my spare time on NewsChannel.

WORKING EXPERIENCE
It was a wonderful learning experience. I learned a lot from my colleagues Sir
Rashid . sir Kaisar, Sir Athar, Sir Asad, and Mam Samia. I learned the most
important thing here how to manage the time and pressure of the newsroom. I
also learned how to communicate with my seniors and juniors. As I was part of
the news room department, i learned here which type of news is running on TV
and which is not. I knew how to manage the digital platform of news channels.
Twitter is the most important tool for news. I mostly verified news from Twitter.
I also learned how to write news headlines.

CONCLUSION

The good thing about this organization was the learning atmosphere. The
atmosphere was very friendly and work-oriented, dedicated energetic, and
motivated. The whole organization is working day and night to make this
channel a leading channel in the world. The environment of this organization
was quite professional all reporters and assignment editors of the news
department and digital department of 7NEWS were very cooperative and
friendly.
