Accomplishment Report on Gulayan sa Paaralan S.Y. 2022-2023

I. INTRODUCTION
The San Pablo Bata elementary School headed by the School
Principal I Ms. Eunice V. Librada is an institution that responded to
the call of the Department of Education in addressing the
malnutrition among school children through the implementation
of the Gulayan sa Paaralan School Program.

The school established and maintained the school Garden

through partnership with the stakeholders and the community to
ensure its sustainability in the production of seed and seedlings
for the next cropping.

II. ACTIVITIES
1. Pre – implementation phase
 Organization of the Gulayan sa Paaralan
 Preparation of the planting and ensure year-round
supply harvest
 Planning for the production of organic fertilizer for the
Gulayan sa Paaralan.

2. Developmental Phase
 Assembling of seedbeds for the vegetables
 Selected the area or space for planting per Grade
level
 The parents of Grades Kinder – Grade 6 prepared
land for planting
 Cleaning the area and cultivation of soil
 Designing the designated area

 Planting of vegetables and fruit bearing trees.

3. Post developmental phase

 January 22, 2023 Harvested 6 bottle gourd and 3
kilos of tomatoes
 March 15, 2023 Harvested bitter gourd, okra, and
pechay

III. INVOLVEMENT OF STAKEHOLDERS

The school established and maintained the school Garden
through partnership with the stakeholders and the

IV. ISSUES AND CONCERNS

Not enough space for planting.

V. BEST PRACTICES
Practice of growing plants using urban gardening.
