ABSTRACT

The number of factors that can affect software compatibility in both Microsoft Windows
and on our PCs clearly extend far beyond older (legacy) software, and you might be surprised
how many of the oldest products will work without any problems or issues at all. The PC
ecosystem, however, does mean that even newer products can face problems, especially if OEMs
design them to have a finite lifespan. Thus, the main focused of the study was to determine the
software that we use, and the compatibility and stability issues that you can face.
Dedication

This study is dedicated to my family and many friends. A special feeling of gratitude to
my loving parents, my mother Naome M. Dabon whose words of encouragement and push for
tenacity ring in my ears. My Father Jose F. Dabon and grandmother Deding Dabon who
continually provide their moral, inspirational, emotional, and financial support.

To my brothers, sister-in law, adviser, friends, classmates who shared their word of
advice and encouragement to finish this study.

And lastly, I dedicated this study to God Almighty my creator, my strong pillar, my
source of inspiration, wisdom, knowledge and understanding. He has been the source of my
strength throughout this study and on His wings only have I soared.
