Life as a Doctor
Life as a doctor is not as easy as it seems,

For not every day is full of happiness and glee.

With time, you must be patient and flexible,

And not wander aimlessly with nowhere to go or be.

Sometimes it may feel as if time is running out,

And it is quite hard for the mind to stay at ease.

With people, communication is a better approach,

And most may deem it a necessity.

Helping people understand their situations,

Without making them feel trapped and lonely.

Death is an unavoidable blackhole,

Sucking us in to meet our ends.

It is untimely, and without patience,

Creating havoc across our lives.

Our tears may fall,

Crystal clear as the sea,

Hearts broken by loss,

And all we can do is weep.

But even death can be delayed,

As long as doctors remain firm and steady,

Branching a path back into normal life,

Where we can again be full of serenity.

This is the life of a doctor,

As you have read and seen,

Giving help throughout their lives,

And providing opportunities.
