*name of project “MBS” MathBaSa (Grade 7 – 10)

*short description MBS main goal is to decrease the number of non numerate and to increase the number of numerate
take note that it is based more on percentage, not only in mps or mean because of the factor of the number of students

MBS or Math BaSa isa sa strategies na ginamit para mapababa ang non numerate at tumaas naman ang numerate
through math games, math activities and video lesson. Ito ay related sa numeracy test, kung saan karamihan ng math
lesson at math word problem ay naka aline sa mismong target ng numeracy goal. It also targets to increase the MPS in
Mathematics every quarter. Habang nag mamath nag babasa sila ng word problems sa math, using math video lesson,
Mathalino math quiz bee, math games that includes word problems in mathematics. Hindi lang mathematical numeracy
ang natatarget nito nakakadagdag din sa kanilang reading skills

Based on the table the percentage of the number of non-numerate before MBS are

Grade 7 19.51 % Grade 8 31.71 % Grade 9 24.39 % and Grade 10 24.39 %, the percentage of the number of non-
numerate after MBS are
Grade 7 12.20 % Grade 8 19.51 % Grade 9 14.63 % and Grade 10 12.20 %,this only means that the number of non
numerate decrease and the number of numerate increases

Lagyan ng mas magandang plan coming from eps ng math na mag karoon pa nang mas magandang integration ang
reading sa math para we hit two birds in one stone .
