SECTION ONE: INTRODUCTION
The How to Measure Guide offers the technical methods of how to measure Janie & Jack products. The How to Measure Guide is a living and
continually evolving document. All Janie and Jack employees, Vendors, Factories and Agents that are manufacturing Janie and Jack products are
expected to utilize and understand the contents of the How to Measure Guide. Failure to comply could result in charge backs and termination of
future or ongoing orders.

SECTION TWO: GENERAL MEASURING
GUIDELINES
1) All Garments
G. When measuring along a curve, the tape measure should be

2) Determining the High Point Shoulder (HPS)
A. Necks with Insets, Ribs or Collars – Highest point where the

shoulder fold and neck seam intersect.

3) Tight-Fitting Sleepwear Requirements (CPSC)
A. When measuring tight-fitting sleepwear, it is mandatory that

the “Tight Fitting Sleepwear – How to Measure (CPSC
Guidelines)” section be used for critical measurements.
B. All CPSC-required measurements are noted with a “**” in front
