Per DepED Memo No, 209, #, 2016, the Department of Education Region V through the Curriculam and Learning Management Division will participate in the 2027 National Festival of Talents (NFOT) with the theme: "Celebrating Humanity and Cultural Diversity”, simultaneously with the 2017 National Schools Press Conference (NSPC) on February 23-26, 2017 at Dipolog City to be hosted by the Schools Division of Region 2. The objectives of this activity are: a To represent DepED Region V in the National Festival of Talents (NFOT). bs. To compete with other Regions in different kis and Arts competition as part of Gender ‘Advocacy. «c Ta promote Bicolano At, Craft, Skills, and talents as an expression of gender sensitivity, ‘&. To promote gender equality among learners through participation in various art and skills ‘competitions 3, With our aim to participate actively in the competitions, the Curriculum end Learning Management Division (CLMD) is commissioned to take charge of the sald activity. Regional Supervisors assigned as focal persons in each event shall ensure that all contestants are prepared for the contest. The specific guidelines for each sklls exhibition are contained as enclosures in the same DepED Memo. 4. The Regional NFOT Delegation composed of 71 contestants, 25 coaches and 6 Regional ‘Coordinators shall leave Legazpi Clty on January 21, 2017 and are expected to be back from Dipolog City on lanuary 26, 2017. The members of the Regional Delegation are expected to be at the Regional Office on January 21 at 3:00pm prior to their departure for Manila 5, The uniforms and transportation expenses of the Regional Delegation to Dipolog City and back to Legazpi City will be charged against Regional GAD Funds. Travelling expenses from the place tf origin to DepED ROV and vice versa, Registration Fee of Three Thousand Five Hundred Pesos {Php3/500,00) and other incidental expenses, are chargeable against school, PTA, Culturel, MOOE, (GAD, SEF, local funds subject to the usual accounting and aualting rules and regulations. 6. _ Advance payment of Registration Fee in checks shall be addressed to the hest region while ‘the on-site registration shall be paid in cash. Check-in time will be in the afternoon of January 22 vith snacks as the first meal and check-out willbe morning of January 26, 2017 with lunch as the last meal7.
