General Connection Flowchart

Use this guide to connect ECG-2250 or ECG-2350 to
DICOM system of RIS, PACS, etc. This guide introduces
the procedures of receiving patient information (MWM) and
sending DICOM image (STORAGE).
In addition, this guide is for Ver.02-XX of ECG-2250 ,
Ver.03-XX of ECG-2350.
Do the following procedures to connect ECG-2250 or ECG-
2350 to DICOM system of RIS, PACS, etc.

Communication Settings for IP Address MWM Communication Test by
1 Set the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway of the

or ECG-2350.
1 Get the test order from the person in charge of connection

Confirm the Connection is Successful

When above settings are completed, turn off the
electrocardiograph.

1 Press the POWER key while pressing the FEED/MARK

key. The “System Test” screen is displayed.
3 If the searched patient information is normally received,

3 Enter the MWM server address with the keyboard on the

operation panel. Press the “OK” function key.

4 Test the connection.

i) If the connection is successful, the “Success” message
is displayed on the screen.
ii) If the connection is failed, the “Fail” message is
displayed on the screen. Check the followings:
-- Check the electrocardiograph IP address.
-- Check the connection destination system IP address.
4 Tick the boxes on the check sheet and fill the searched

and press the “OK” function key. Repeat the step 4 to test

STORAGE Communication Test by Save and Manage the Local

When all the settings are completed, check the STORAGE When all the operation is completed, save the system settings

1 Confirm the available patient ID, name with the person
in charge of connection destination before you send the
DICOM image.

2 Enter the patient information on the Patient information

screen.

NOTE • Use the test order after you set to receive the
patient information.
• Enter the weight, birth date (age) manually if
these information cannot be acquired.

3 Press START/STOP key to test the ECG wave. Press

the “File” function key after completion of automatic
recording, the screen displays the processing infromation.
Press the “Send” function key to send the ECG data file.

4 Confirm the file is opened on system end with the person

in charge of connection destination. Fill in the check sheet
with sent information.
