Where xx is the line number in the injector program. To


select one of the other commands, press (Tab I to position
the cursor on the D of DRAW, then press ®
or (I).
To delete a line from the injector program, display the
line to be deleted and press (Shift) (Delet0. Now press
(Ent.r) to del(Jf,e line or ~ to retain line.

Moves rotary valve to bypass position, isolating the
reaction capilla.ry. This command is used as a last entry,
following INJECT a.nd is used when a micro-oven is
installed. This command must follow INJECT if injector
program contains further lines.

Auxiliary Functions

The a.uxiliary functions are for configuration and


trou bleshooting and are not part of the cnrrent method.
You access the auxiliary funcl,ions by pressing: (Shift!
(§ill (Ent.r J, then moving to the desired function with
the 0 and fIl keys. The following exa.mple shows the
auxilia.fY functions of an HI' 1090 with: •
• DR5 or PV5 solvent delivery sy:;tem .
• Auto-injector.

TIME
Time sets the current time (24-hour clock!).
Limits: Time in hours (HH), minutes (MM), and seconds
(33). Setting time clears status logbook, see Cha.pter 8.

ABORT
ABORT resets the HP 1090 for operation.

Limits: None-to reset, press [Enter ). The current


anaJysis is sl:opped, auto-injector and a,uto-sampler are
reset. All methods a.re retained. The solvent delivery
system, column-compartment and filter-photometric
detector and./or diode-ana.y detector reta,in their status.
Any diode-array detector spectrum plots in progress are
aborted.
If your HP 1090 has an TNET communication interface
.'" and is connected through HP-IL to a,n HF :3392A
Integra.tor, the messa,ges LOOP DOWN and LOOP UP may be
printed on the integrator.
