WATTAGE Reading – Realtime consumption of Appliances and how much power it takes to

run it

KILOWATTHOUR – billing unit for Electrical power consumption

Frequency Reading– Standard frequency used in PH is 60hz
Voltage Reading – Realtime voltage rating of Utility supply (Standard for PH)

Power Factor – Expression of Power Efficiency

Ampere Reading – measure of the rate of current in a conductor

At this VA Meter it is normal to meet 6000 watts reading due to simultaneous use of appliances.
The maximum Wattage rating for each Meter is indicated on the load schedule. Please refer to
the VA rating for each circuit on the Load Schedule. To calculate the equivalent Wattage from VA
simply divide Wattage (YELOW in this image) to its Power Factor (BLUE in this image).

Also, heating is normal phenomenon on a conductor specially if loads are currently in use.

If Wattage Reading exceeds the allotted Wattage rating (Ampere Reading exceeds the ampere
rating) on the Design. The Circuit breaker will act on its purpose which is to trip on its highest
capacity.
