9th & 10th AUGUST THEME “MERA BHARAT MAHAN”
Details of the competition
for the
month of August
Classes 1 & 2

Competition: MONO ACTING


TOPIC : INDIAN STATES AND CAPITALS

Instructions:
1.Competition will be held on 9th August, 2023(Wednesday).
2.Children are expected to speak on any one Indian state (including
capital,culture,famous for etc.) for one minute.
3.There would be a preliminary round on 7th August, 2023(Monday)
where the best 3 from each section would be chosen.
4. From the preliminary round the best 3 from their respective class
will be chosen for the final round.
5.Finalist should come in costumes representing the state.
Property(props) that goes well with the state can be used.
6.Requesting parents to send a consent for participation of your
child in the student diary addressing to the class teacher.
7.For any clarifications, kindly contact the CCA coordinator of
classes 1 and 2, Mrs. Sumathi (8142715955).
8.Last date of sending the consent letter for participation to the class
teacher is 04th August, 2023.

Classes 3, 4 and 5
Competition: SOUND OF MUSIC
Topic: PATRIOTIC SONGS
Instructions:
1. Competition will be held on 9th August, 2023(Wednesday).
2. Children are expected to sing a patriotic song in any of the
three languages- English, Hindi or Telugu.
3. Time allotted to sing the song is 2 minutes.
4. There would be a preliminary round on 7th August,
2023(Monday) where the best 3 from each section would be
chosen. This round would be conducted by the class teachers
in first period.
5.Requesting parents to send a consent for participation of your
child in the student diary addressing to the class teacher.
6.For any clarifications, kindly contact the CCA coordinator of
classes 3, 4 and 5, Mrs. Annie (9966269123).
7.Last date of sending the consent letter for participation to the
class teacher is 4th August, 2023
Classes 6,7 and 8

Competition: DECLAMATION SPEECH


Topic: GREAT LEADERS OF INDIA

Instructions:
1. Competition will be held on 10th August, 2023(Thursday).
2. Children are expected to speak about great leaders of India
for 2 minutes.
3. There would be a preliminary round on 8th August,
2023(Tuesday) where the best 3 from each section would be
chosen. This round would be conducted by the Social studies
teachers in their respective period.
4. Social teachers will choose the best 3 from their respective
class and nominate them for the final round.
5. Finalists should come in costume demonstrating the great
leader.
6. For any clarifications, kindly contact the CCA coordinator
of classes 6, 7 and 8, Mrs. Subhabrata Banerjee
(9704500065).
7. Interested students can give their names to the respective
class teacher on or before 4TH August, 2023.

Classes 9, 10, 11 and 12

Competitions: STEP TO THE


TUNES (GROUP DANCE)
Topic: PATRIOTIC SONGS
DANCE

Instructions:
1. Competition will be held on 10th August, 2023(Thursday).
2. Children are expected to present the dance performance on the
patriotic song in any language.
3. This is a team event. Students can form a team with 5 participants
from any class, but of the same house.
4. Time provided for each team would be 3 minutes.
5. Competition would be held in morning hours, thereby, participants
can come with their costume.
6.Interested students can give their names to your respective class
teacher on or before 4th August, 2023.
7.For any clarifications, kindly contact the CCA coordinator of
classes 9, 10, 11 & 12 Mrs. Jyotsna Rajpurohit (7742936177)

General Instruction

1.Winning and losing aren’t important. It’s how much fun you had in the process.
More participation is expected to showcase the talent amongst all.
2.There will be a preliminary round for classes 1 to 5 on 7th August, 2023 & for classes
6 to 8 on 8th August, 2023.
3.The decision of the judges is final. Winners will be awarded with exciting and
unforgettable prizes.
4.Let Honesty, Integrity and Modesty prevail at all the levels.
