If we divide Kazakhstan into 4 regions: North, South,

West, East; then we can put labels on each of them.
Kazakhstanis think:
North- they are like russians, they drink a lot.
South- very traditional, if you marry a south-man,
you are his slave.
West- very rich, thanks to the petroleum.
East- mutants and radiation. Semipalatinsk Polygon-
is a former nuclear test site of Soviet union.

MEDALLION OF A PERSON

A friend of mine Dariia from Yakutia is a ballerine. She represents her-

self to the world as an optimistic, playful, romantic and very active per-
son. She is the person who creates the vibe.
But to keep being energized, Dariia disciplines herself.
The ballet academy made her purpusefull and very flexible person.
In photographs I am trying to show you both sides of her personality.

In my imagination of a parallel world you have

a choice in what kind of world you would like to
have a journey. There is a special department
for that where you enter and see the spheres in
which you choose a world by putting your hands
inside of a sphere.
