 No worker should be expected to expose
himself to an unprotected fall while getting

4. Use of Scaffold  Fall of person.  No loose material shall be left on the

5. Dismantling of scaffolding  Fall of person.  Scaffolding to be dismantled by the
 collapse of scaffolding. scaffolders in presence of competent /
 cut injury /fall of material experienced supervisor.
 Display scaffolding status board at
prominent location all the time.
 Scaffolding removal shall be from top
to bottom plane wise.
 First remove bracing and then remove
all horizontal members in one plane.
 The area of dismantling should be
barricaded & no movement of
personnel underneath the same.
 Use of full body safety harness & fall
arrestor during vertical movement to be
ensured.
6. Housekeeping  Injury due to left over material  All the tools and tackles,
angles/channels must be removed from
the work place after completion of job.
 Clean the work place thoroughly.
 Ensure all material shall be stored in
designated area.
