1. Read Kim Kardashian’s daily routine and complete the sentences with the correct form of
the verbs in simple present:
On a typical day, without cameras, I wake up early, like six in the
morning. I do exercise for about an hour before the kids get up. I wake
the kids up at 7:05 a.m and we all have breakfast together. I always
have a shower in the morning.
I get the kids ready and then I take them to school, come back, and
start my day.
I do my hair and makeup; it doesn’t take long. Then I start work. I
usually have one or two meetings a day. I can't live without talking to
my family. I always do a video chat with my family at 2 p.m. When I
finish work, I take my son to a music class and my daughter to a
horseback riding class.
I get back home at about 6 p.m. and we have dinner all together at 7
p.m. I read books to the kids and then they go to bed.
At 9 p.m. I answer emails and go online. Before I go to bed, I study for law school. I spent my nights
reading until about 11 p.m. I don’t watch much TV because I don’t have time. I'm usually so tired that I
go to bed at 11 pm.
