Oh Holy Spirit, You are the Third Person of the Blessed

Trinity.
You are the Spirit of truth, love and holiness, proceeding
from the Father and the Son, and equal to Them in all
things.
We adore You and love You with all our hearts. Teach us
to know and to seek God, by whom and for whom we
were created. Fill our hearts with a holy fear and a great
love for Him. Give us compunction and patience, and do
not let us fall into sin.
Increase faith, hope and charity in us and bring forth in
us all the virtues proper to our state of life. Help us to
grow in the four cardinal virtues- Your seven gifts and
Your twelve fruits.

Make us faithful followers of Jesus, obedient children of

the Church and help to our neighbors. Give us the grace
to keep the commandments and to receive the
sacraments worthily. Raise us to holiness in the state of

life to which You have called us, and lead us through a
happy death to everlasting life. Through Jesus Christ,
our Lord.

Grant us also, O Holy Spirit, Giver of all good gifts, the

special favor for which we ask, if it be for Your honor
and glory and for our well-being. Amen.
Breathe into us, Holy Spirit, that our thoughts may all be
holy. Move in us, Holy Spirit, that our work, too, may be
holy. Attract our hearts, Holy Spirit, that we may love
only what is holy. Strengthen us, Holy Spirit, that we
may defend all that is holy. Protect us, Holy Spirit, that
we may always be holy.
O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, Did instruct
the hearts of the faithful, Grant that by the same Holy
Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His
consolations. Through the same Christ Our Lord.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and
kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your
Spirit and they shall be created. And you shall renew the
face of the earth.

We stand before You, Holy Spirit, as we gather together

in Your name. With You alone to guide us, make
Yourself at home in our hearts; Teach us the way we
must go and how we are to pursue it. We are weak and
sinful; do not let us promote disorder.

Lord, create in us a clean heart and a right spirit before
You. Give us a new, positive, joyful, loving, and
forgiving attitude towards others. Where there is
anything that needs to change in us, we pray You would
enable that change to happen. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
Heal us, change us, strengthen us in body, soul, and
spirit. Come Lord Jesus, cover us with your Precious
Blood, and fill us with your Holy Spirit. 
We love you Lord Jesus. We praise you Jesus. O Lord
Jesus Christ, Who, before ascending into heaven, did
promise to send the Holy Spirit to finish Your work in the
souls of Your Apostles and Disciples, dare to grant the
same Holy Spirit to us, that He may perfect in our soul
the work of Your grace and Your love.

Spirit of wisdom and understanding, enlighten our

minds to perceive the mysteries of the universe in
relation to eternity. Grant us the Spirit of Wisdom, that
we may despise the perishable things of this world and
aspire only after the things that are eternal.
Spirit of Right Judgment, (Counsel) that we may ever
choose the surest way of pleasing God and gaining
Heaven.
Spirit of Fortitude, that we may bear our cross with You,
and that we may overcome with courage all the
obstacles that oppose our salvation. O Blessed Spirit of
Fortitude, uphold our souls in time of trouble and

adversity, sustain our efforts after holiness, strengthen
our weakness, give us courage against all the assaults
of our enemies, that we may never be overcome and
separated from Thee, our God and greatest good. Amen.
Spirit of Knowledge, that we may know God and know
ourselves and grow more perfect in the science of the
Saints. Spirit of right judgment and courage, guide us
and make us firm in our baptismal decision to follow
Jesus' way of love. Spirit of knowledge and reverence,
help us to see the lasting value of justice and mercy in
our everyday dealings with one another.
Spirit of Piety, that we may find peace and fulfillment in
the service of God while serving others.
Spirit of Wonder and Awe, (Fear of the Lord) that we may
be filled with a loving reverence towards God, and may
dread in any way to displease Him. Teach us, dear Lord,
to be your faithful disciple and animate us in all things
with Your Spirit. Amen.
May we respect life as we work to solve problems of
family and nation, economy and ecology.
Spirit of God, spark our faith, hope and love into new
action each day.
Fill our lives with wonder and awe in your presence
which penetrates all creation. Amen.
