Distinguished guests, our principal, members of the faculty, beloved parents, fellow

graduates, ladies and gentlemen, ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WARAHMATULLAHI WA

BARAKATUHU and a pleasant morning to all. It is indeed heartwarming to see
everyone present at this momentous event, the day we all bid goodbye to our loving
friends, teachers and school.

The moment our parents and we have been waiting for has finally arrived. This day
is just the beginning and not the end itself for we are leaving a stage in our lives and
facing greater challenges. This celebration reminds us of yesterday’s memories.
These are memories that inspire; memories that urge us to strive harder and do
better. From simple ABC’s and basic mathematics, we now move on to more
challenging lessons in life.

I stand before you today overwhelmed with deep sense of gratitude, pride and joy.
Let me thank some of the people who have made my achievements possible. I might
not be able to mention all of you by name, but rest assured that I’m infinitely
grateful to everyone who has put me on this stage today. I would like to thank Allah
first and foremost. Without Him, none of these would have been possible. I am
thankful to God for granting us talents, wisdom, knowledge and strength. I am
grateful to God for blessing me with loving and concerned teachers, supportive
parents, and wonderful classmates. Fellow graduates, let us all sincerely thank those
people who helped us to be what we are today.

Let us never allow the world’s definition of what is possible keep us from achieving
what we want to achieve.  Let us not only dream big, let us dream grandly. Let us not
only reach for the mountaintop, let us reach for the stars. Thank you and
