HIGLIGHTS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION

A. STRENGTHS OF THE PROGRAM/ POSITIVE EXPERIENCES/ COMMENTS

I wish this Deped Program will not stop that the students will continue the skills as part of their
source of living. I believed a lifetime benefits among their family and neighbors in every
occasion.

B. ISSUES, CHALLENGES AND RESOLUTIONS

Intentional brownout. This has become an issue since the Dressmaking electricity depends on
the Barangay Hall electric meter. And the Barangay Captain cut off the electric power
connection for 7 school days. It affected our Training since we are using the High Speed Sewing
machines.

Despite of this issue, The trainer focus his lesson on lay outing, pattern making and temporarily
used the manual sewing machines to continue the training.

C. LESSONS LEARNED/ INSIGHTS

Thread Sewing -Junior High are using same laboratory with the Senior High. They iuse same
sewing machine but different color of threads. I witnessed the nearly full threaded bobbin that one
Junior unthreading just to replace another color opf tread. Likewise the other day group would use
and same thing happened. What a waste threads of which both groups experienced running out of
treads. Waste of threads, waste of time and may cause conflict on both.

I also learned that each student must have his/her own set of bobbin case and bobbin case to
avoid conflicts and for his/her convenience.

Also, the school can provide cabinet to secure the unfinished items of the learners. Unsued
clothes must be secured inside the locker . Then observing the good house keeping after the
laboratory can help avoid accident
