    Addition of Integers

    A. Adding liked sign integers


    Example:
    1. 6 + (5) =11
    2. (4)+ 7 = 11
    3. (-4) + ( -4) = - 8
    4. -9 +(-3) = -12

    B. Adding Unliked Sign Integers


    1. 10 + (-5)= 5
    2. (-4) + 2= -2
    3. (-1) + 6 = 5

    Solve:
    1. 7 + (3) = 10
    2. (-4) + (-2) = -6
    3. (-3) + 3 = 0
    4. 4+ (-13) = -9
    5. 5 + (-4) = 1

    SUBTRACTION OF INTEGERS
    C. Liked Sign Integers
    Examples:
    1. 3 – (+1) = 2 3 – 2 =1
    2. -3 – (- 5)
    -3 + 5 = 2
    3. -7 – ( - 4) = -3 -7 + 4 = -3

    D. Unliked Sign
    Examples:
    1. 5 – (- 6) =
    5 + 6 = 11
    2. – 9 – (+7) =
    - 9 – 7 = - 16
    3. -12 – (5) = -17

    Solve:
    1. 4 – (5) = -1
    2. (- 6) – ( -5) = -1
    3. (3) – (-6) = 9
    4. (6) – (-6) = 12
    5. (-4) –( 7)= -11

    Multiplication & Division of Integers


    A. Same Sign Integers
    + (*/) + = + + (*/) - = -
    - (*/) - = + - (*/) + = -
    Examples:
    1. (8)(7) = 56
    2. (-6) (4) = -24
    3. (18)/ (-9) =-2
    4. (3) / 0 = undefined
    5. 0/ (-5) = 0

    Solve:
    1. 6 /(-3) = -2
    2. (-2) /0 = undefined
    3. (-4)(-1) = 4
    4. (-4 )/ (-1) = 4
    5. (9)(-10) = -90
