To help overcome mental health issues in this time of pandemic, what recreational
activities will you suggest or recommend to a young student like you who are
experiencing this issue. At least 200 words.

In total overview, mental illness also called mental disorders, refers to a wide
range of metal health conditions. These mental conditions affects the moods, behaviors
and thinking. Most popular and common are depression, anxiety, stress and other
addictive behaviors.

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social well-being.


Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood to adolescence and
trough adulthood. Mental and physical health are equally important components of
overall health.

Since pandemic, participation and interaction between individuals and


environment are not allowed, the best things we need to do is to have plenty of sleep to
have a better rest. Home exercise and other stress reliever like drawing, coloring and
play with stress ball can help to improve our overall psychological well being. Doing a
yoga and have a pet dog will help too.

Above all, maintaining leisure time, is good for our mental health. Finding
balance between work and play, and nurturing a healthy leisure lifestyle, help us to
manage stress, reduce burnout and increase productivity. Identify at least one or two
things we enjoy much and we can rotate doing it, it will help to increase our wellness,
support mental and physical health.

As students suffering from mental health issues, we need to improve our level of
confidence and self-esteem. We need to be strongly motivated all the time to perform
to the best of our ability.
