Responsibilities

 Liaison with PRI and Education and Health Department for developing WASH
facilities. Monitoring and Evaluating availability of toilets, its number and use and
other components of sanitation, disposal of sewage, source of water and per capita use,
etc.
 Lead the implementation team and provide programmatic and technical support to
project team for effective implementation of project activities
 Ensure adherence to technical aspects of sanitation and WASH at Schools,
Anganwadies, and Health Facilities of district – especially on quality of physical
interventions.

reports. Ensure that monthly reports are submitted by month. Supervise cluster

Technical Experience
Vast experience on Community awareness for developing CBOs (Community Based
Organization) and Institutions like Self Help Groups, Agro Service Center, Farmer Field
School, etc.-
Vast experience on school and community level work –

1. Designed JE-AES Survey for five villages of Gorakhpur district under in Dec 2014 .
2. Work for Sanitation in five villages of Gorakhpur district under Sir Dorabji Tata Trust
project (2014-2015).
3. Worked as Moderator/Facilitator on Sanitation Based Study (Quantitative and
Qualitative survey, IDI, and FGD) for 40 days (August –September 2015). This study
was based on behavioral/Social aspects of Open Defecation under World Bank
supported Project.
4. Worked on making villages ODF using CLTS method in 4 villages, triggering
community in 3 villages, motivating community to construct toilets through using tools
like PRA, SLD, FGD, Social Mapping for toilet availability and construction of 235
toilets in 4 villages of Gorakhpur district by providing vital technical input on low cost
toilet construction techniques.
5. Motivating community for Solid and Liquid Waste management for producing compost
from waste.
6. Motivating Children for Solid and Liquid Waste management for prevention of JE-
AES. Experience of working with DPRO, ADO (Panchayat), PRI institutions, Schools,
etc.
7. Made a low budget short documentary on toilet and ODF.
