Loan Default Prediction | Machine Learning | Self Project [May '23 - Jun '23]
Objective : Predict loan defaulters by analyzing various attributes to mitigate banking losses and foster economic growth
• Carried out Exploratory Data Analysis and feature engineering on defaulters dataset with over 65,000 records and over 30 features
• Implemented Random Forest algorithm on regular data as baseline and oversampled data using SMOTE to address the class imbalance
• Successfully achieved an average F1-score of 0.81 for the trained classifier after hyperparameter tuning by using randomized search CV
T20 Cricket Dashboard | End-to-End Data Analytics | Self Project [May '23 - Jun '23]
Objective : Strategize and compose a cricket team that achieves a certain score, defeating the opponent optimally
• Performed web scraping using BeautifulSoup library in Python, to gather player scores and statistics from ESPN Sports website

• Investigated the impact of Balance of Payment on certain macro-economic variables like GDP, Inflation, Exchange Rate etc in India
• Estimated the Vector Auto Regressive model, and further conducted the Lagrange Multiplier test, followed by Granger Causality test
• Established positive relationship of BoP with Exchange rate, Inflation and Balance of Trade, but negative relationship with GDP growth

• Implemented cross-sectional analysis on World Bank data to evaluate the GDP - CO2 relationship across 217 countries, year 2018 - 19
