Introduction

1. As part of virtual onboarding, ‘IT’ will provide a VDI

system (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) which has to
be configured on your personal system, and IT POC will
help you with this.

2. Please install the Knox messenger on your mobile phone from

the link below.

(Knox Messenger supports only Samsung phones and is
recommended to use Chrome Browser to access this link)

3. Please read the ‘IT instructions’ doc and VDI system

installation doc carefully, Knox Portal and CORP
credentials will be shared with you by HR.

1. VDI Log in Credentials

Log in id: Your CORP ID

Password: samsung@22

2. Knox Portal

‘Knox portal’ is widely used in Samsung as a mailing

system, please use the link below to access
Link: www.samsung.net
Knox Portal login: Your Knox id & Password, will be
shared by HR or IT POC.

Mails will be stored in the Knox portal server only for 14

days max.

Knox Messenger will be active whenever log in to the

Knox Portal system

3. CORP Domain

SRIB Systems are connected with CORP domain and CORP

credentials are required to log in to office laptop or VDI
CORP ID: same as Knox id and same will be shared by HR

If you have Windows 11 OS, you can even access VDI on

Microsoft Edge!

Here's how:

Step 1. Enable IE Mode from Edge:

Open Microsoft Edge and click the ellipsis button on the top-
right corner -> Settings -> Default browser -> Allow sites to be
reloaded in Internet Explorer mode (Under Internet Explorer
compatibility) -> Restart

Step 2. Open site with IE Mode on Edge

Open Microsoft Edge, click on the ellipsis button on the top-right
corner, and select Settings. -> Default browser->Add button
(Internet Explorer mode pages) -> Type the address of the
website (https://www.flexi-workspace.com ) -> you will have the option to
Reload in Internet Explorer mode when you click the menu
button from Edge

4. SRIB Hub

This is the home page which use across SRIB to manage

various functions

“Call request” is using for IT or other functions related

9. Security Tools

Security Tools like Escort, Nacsa, SLAM must

be registered with your Knox ID

VDI ACCESS Prerequisites

Please make sure that the below prerequisites are in place

to connect your VDI from your personal laptop without any
hustle.

1. Home Network

Please make sure that your home internet

connection is 12 MBPS or more

2. Laptop Environment

Please check the below configurations for a

hustle free connection to VDI Operating System -
Windows 10
Internet Explorer - Version 11
Ram - 8 GB or more

Those who are on Linux Operating system should have a

Virtual Box running on Linux with Windows 10 on top of it.
