above are based on our best interpretation of the information provided by the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to confirm
the descriptions above meet the specifications as intended.
1 INCLUSIONS:
a. Submittals
b. Shop drawings
c. Product and Material that is spec'd or alternate that is equal to what is spec'd. Please see description and manufacturer details above.
d. 2 trip(s) for field measure in verifying window treatment deminsions.
e. 4 trip(s) for installation
f. Manufacturer's product warranty
2 EXCLUSIONS:
a. Scissor lifts are excluded from all bid proposals. If lifts are needed fees will apply accordingly.
b. If any motorzied shades are being provided for the project and listed within our bid proposal, all electrical wiring shall be completed by a licensed electrician. Valley
Shades, Inc. is not a licensed electrician.
c. Contractor to provide a dumpster on site for Valley Shades, Inc. to utilize for waste.
d. Mockups are not included in base pricing. SEE; 4:d
e. Valley Shades installation warranty.
3 REQUIREMENTS:
a. Field verification of window sizes to proceed after installation of drywall and glazing trim. SEE; 4:b
b. Approved change orders must be paid within 15 days of approval.
c. If there is no access to an elevator for over 2 stories, contractor is to provide assistance in getting material to the upper levels
4 FEES/ADDITIONAL CHARGES
a. Blinds not removed on a remodel project and VSI needs to remove them there will be an additional fee of $25/blind and or roller shade, $5/lineal feet of verticals,
drapes, cornices
b. If VSI is called out to field measure and the project is not ready there will be a $800 day rate charge for local projects within 60 miles of our warehouse. IF outside of
60 mile radius a $4500 rate will be charged to cover any expenses incurred.
c. If VSI is scheduled to install and work can not be performed due to the project not being ready a $2400 charge will be applied for the day rate.
d. Any mockup requests for the project must be paid in advance for product plus additional phase to come out and install.(SEE; 4:c) If mockup is not approved then
additional pricing will apply for additional materials. If the mockup is approved this will be deducted from contract when awarded.
e. Our proposal does not include anchoring, pre-drilling or installation into concrete. If any of these are required there will be a 50%(1.5) increase on the projects total.
f. All window treatments are considered inside mount when providing a bid proposal. If product changes to outside mount making the window treatment larger, project
price is subject to change.
g. The bid proposal here within is good for a total of 90days if product is not procured within this timeframe. Product pricing may be subject to change if product has not
been procured within this timeframe.
5 PAYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
a. - Full Payment with a 2% price reduction for paying total up front.
- 10% upon submitting shop drawings and submittals
- 70% to procure product with MFG
- 20% billed during the installation process.
