ENGLISH READING PROJECT WORK PLAN AND BUDGET MATRIX

Project Title: Help learners read and Ensure that they learn Amidst the challenges to become Life-long learners (Project H.E.A.L)
Project Statement: This project aims to improve reading skills, specifically fluency, and comprehension of learners especially those who are under frustration
level to help them cope up with the challenges through extensive reading activities.
Project Objective:
 Decrease the number of identified learners under the frustration level from 13% to at least 3%
 Guide the learners on their reading journey to develop a better reading habit through the help of their parents/guardians and concerned relatives
even they are at home
 Help learners improve their reading and comprehension skills to cope up with their everyday lessons
 Inculcate in their young minds the importance and benefits of reading
Root Cause: The number of identified learners under the frustration level is the main cause of the project. Furthermore, reading comprehension serves as the
most important aspect in the Modular Distance Learning.
