Tiarn is to be commended on her persistent approach this semester. At times, Tiarn’s lack
of confidence in her mathematical ability prevents her from applying familiar concepts to
new problems and engaging constructively in class discussion. Tiarn is encouraged to
challenge herself with timed practice of past HSC questions to facilitate consolidation.
Grade B
Lauren is to be commended on her Trial HSC Exam result which demonstrates a solid
understanding of the concepts and reflects her solid work ethic. The key to further
improvement will be concise summary notes for all topics and a regular revision routine.
In particular, Lauren should concentrate on consolidating her knowledge by attempting
past HSC questions under exam conditions.

Belle’s committed work ethic is evident in the timely manner she completes class tasks.
She shows a solid understanding of the Networks topic as highlighted in Assessment
Three. Belle is encouraged to participate more actively in group discussion to develop her
reasoning skills and seek further assistance when clarification of challenging content is
