I am writing to express my strong interest in the PhD scholarship in Computer Science at RMIT
University. As a lecturer with several years of experience teaching computer science courses, I
am excited about the opportunity to pursue a PhD and contribute to the field through research.

I hold a master's degree in Computer Science from Mekelle University, and have been teaching
computer science courses at Aksum University for the past 11 of years. During my time as a
lecturer, I have gained valuable experience in teaching a variety of courses, including
programming languages, algorithms and data structures, databases, computer networks and
machine learning. I have also supervised several undergraduate research projects, which have
further piqued my interest in research.

While teaching and supervising research projects, I have realized the importance of research in
contributing to the advancement of the field of computer science. I am particularly interested in
the area of Artificial Intelligence, as I believe that this area has the potential to solve many real-
world problems.

My previous academic and teaching experiences have prepared me for the rigor and challenges
of a PhD program. I am confident that with my experience in teaching and my passion for
research, I can make significant contributions to the department and the field of computer
science.

In conclusion, I am excited about the opportunity to pursue a PhD Computer Science at RMIT
University. I believe that my academic and teaching experiences, coupled with my passion for
research, make me a strong candidate for the scholarship. I am eager to contribute to the
