55ma Strategy
Procedure:
1. Give each child the green card band and flower cut-outs of
each colour.
2. Assist them in pasting the biggest flower first, then the
medium flower and lastly the smallest flower one over the
other.
3. Punch a hole at the edge of the band on both sides.
4. Pass the green ribbons through the holes in the band and knot
it at one end, such that the ribbon is attached to the band.
5. Tie the band around the child’s head using the ribbons.
Procedure:
1. Take the green paper and cut along the lines.
2. Once all the strips are cut, fold them (along the horizontal line)
to make a crease and unfold all.
3. To make the loops, you can start on either of the sides and
glue strip by strip, making loop by loop as shown in the picture.
Allow the glue to set.
Procedure:
1. Give the cardboard ring to the children.
2. Then give 12 leaves to them and guide them to fold each leaf
from the center.
3. Then let them glue each leaf onto the frame, overlapping the
leaves as they go.
4. Continue in this manner till the entire wreath is covered.
5. Make a ribbon loop and stick it behind the wreath to hang it
on the wall.
Procedure:
Instructions for making the flower:
Take two paper cups. Remove the base of your first cup, this
will form your plant pot. Paint it brown and set it aside to dry.
Then cut the bottom 1/4th of the second cup and make a small

1. Give each child the cut out of a door hanger
2. Let the children put feathers right on top for the hair.
3. Put the googly eyes just below the round gap.
4. Paste the smile at the centre.

1. Take the white card paper and fold it in half.

inch apart from each other and about one-inch long. (Teacher
can help them in cutting if the children require help).

1. Fold the cut-outs of the hot air balloon (both pink and the purple)
in half and glue each side to one another to make it 3D.
2. While sticking the sides of the hot air balloon stick a string inside to
help the hot air balloon to hang.
3. Roll the yellow strip to look like a basket and tie it to the balloon
Procedure:
1. Have the children glue the crepe paper streamers on the strip of
construction paper.
2. Glue the two ends of the construction paper strip together to make
a circle.
3. Punch three holes equally spaced on the construction paper strip.

1. Give one stick to each child and let them wrap the stick with
the golden paper by twirling it around the stick.
2. Then guide them to attach the ribbons all together one by one
by tying a knot on one end of the stick.
3. Allow the children to decorate the stick with sequins provided.
4. Let the children play and dance around with the streamer.
Procedure:
1. Take a straw and bend it to a right angle.
2. Keep the blue paper on the table and let the children place the
punched hole in the center over the short end of the straw.
3. Then join the four points in the centre and insert in the straw. If the
straw does not fit in the punched hole, then widen the holes a bit.
4. Put a piece of play dough on the end of the straw to stop it from
falling off the end.
Procedure:
1. Roll the blue paper to make a long stick and glue the ends.
2. Glue the star cut-outs on one end of the roll at the front and back

1. Give the tinted paper to each child and let them colour it and
make any designs on it.
2. Then give the roll to each child and let the him/her stick the
tinted paper around the roll.
3. Then cover one end of the roll with the transparent circle.
4. Let the child follow the lines to fold the silver paper and stick it
to form a triangle.
5. Insert the triangle and fit it in the roll.
Procedure:
1. Give the 2 flower cut-outs to each child and guide them to stick the
smaller flower on top of the big flower.
4. Then place the flower and the butterfly on the string to stick it.
5. Lastly let the children make a loop with the ribbon and paste it
behind the flower.
Procedure:
1. Give the circles to the children and let them paint on it with paints
or decorate it with sketch pens.
2. Tape the piece of string at the middle of 1 circle. Make sure that
there are equal lengths of string on each side.
3. Then string the bead and tie a knot at each end.
