The researcher would like to express their deep and sincere gratitude to
their adviser Mrs. Regie M. Borcillo for her continuous support, patience, and
motivation and for giving them the opportunity to do research, and for providing
them invaluable guidance throughout this research. Her vision, sincerity, and
guidance helped the researchers during all the time of the study and making of
this research.
Besides to the researchers adviser, the researchers would like to thank the
rest of the research committee: Mrs. Lilibeth A. Yagong, Mr. Mark A. Paniza, Mrs.
Shiela Mae Celiz, and others for their encouragement, suggestions, insightful
comments, and hard questions. With them, thie researchers was able to express

Abstract
Enhancing Reading Skills of Junior High School Students. This study was
conducted at San Jose National High School in the Municipality of Banga, City of
Koronadal, Region XII. This study was focused on determining the difference
between the experimental and controlled group in enhancing reading skills the
from each grade levels of junior high of San Jose National High School. Jamovi
app was employed to compute for the total number of samples. The proportional
allocation formula was applied to determine the sub-sample per grade level.
Simple random sampling using bowl fish method was used to select individual
respondents of the study. The result of this study denoted the present
relationship with the p-value of p=0.071 which is this solved by using the t-test
