CHILD PROTECTION POLICY

S.Y. 2022 – 2023

The Bucayab Elementary School, Bauang South District promotes zero-tolerance policy for any
act of child abuse, exploitation, violence, discrimination, bullying, and other forms of abuse.

BUCAYAB ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

1. Shall promote a school environment conducive for learning and free from any kind of
fear, abuse and violence that can negatively affect integral development of pupils.

2. Shall inform pupils of their right to be given protection against abuse, danger and
violence and empower them to immediately report any violence to their parents, teachers
and guardians for investigation and action by the teacher and/or guidance counselor.

3. Shall raise awareness about child abuse, exploitation, violence, discrimination, bullying,
and other forms of abuse by conducting activities like games, storytelling and seminars to
school and barangay officers, teachers, pupils, parents and guardians.

4. Shall conduct engaging and enjoyable individual/group activities that promote self-
esteem, self-expression and the right to be heard while developing trust, confidence and
sensitivity to feelings of others by socializing, having a get together activities and
keeping good company with playmates, friends, classmates and community.

5. Shall be implementing safe, healthy, innovative and effective ways of pupil discipline,
training and development.
