MY EXPERIENCE WHEN I JOINED THE NATIONAL CAMP

When I was 6th grade at elementary school, I joined the national camp for 4 days. The camp
was held in Cibubur Jakarta. The camp was for Islamic elementary school. At that time I learned
a lot of things. I went camping with 9 of my friends. They were Raja, Bagas, Kiki, Fasya, Falah,
Farell, Balin, Raship, and Utbah. A day before I went camping, I had prepared the required
items, like clothes, dishes, and foods. The day of departure arrived. We went on Thursday night
and arrived on Friday morning.

On the first day there were only a few activities. First, we had breakfast and tidied up the
tent. At 9 all participants gathered in the field to follow the opening ceremony. At noon we did
Friday prayer and had lunch. At 2 pm, a cannon making game was held, but I didn’t take part in
the competition. I chose to guard the tent while my friends were doing the competition.

On the second day, there was an outbound competition. One of the most interesting games
was crossing the barrier over a muddy field. Everybody was happy to join the competition. We
discussed a best strategy to win. Bagas, our leader would lead our group. We had tried our
best but we didn’t win it.

On the third day there was no competition, but art performances from various regions were
held. After the event was over, I went back to the tent. I was very tired and wanted to sleep.
While I was approaching the tent, I saw something moving inside it. I ran to check and it turned
out to be my friend. On the fourth day we prepared the goods then attended the closing
ceremony and after that we went home.

Note : I didn’t go to Pecapa because I was sick
