At the Customs

A - Good morning. Can I see your passport?

E - Certainly. Here it is.
A - Yes, that's all right. Have you got anything to declare?
E - Yes. I have. I've got some whiskey and some cigarettes.
A - How much whisky have you got?
E - A liter.
A - That's all right. And how many cigarettes have you got?
E - Two hundred.
A - Fine. What about perfume?
E - Er… No, I haven't.
A - Good. Open your case, please.
E - Pardon?
A - Open your case, please. Open it now!
Oh, dear! Look at this! You've got 3 bottles of whiskey, 400 cigarettes and a lot of   
perfume!
E - Does that mean I can't go?

Air hostess: Hello!
Sophie: Hello!
Air hostess: What would you like to eat?
Sophie: What do you have?
Stewardess: Chicken with vegetables and rice noodles.
Sophie: I would like the chicken.
Stewardess: And to drink?
Sophie: Do you have diet coke?
Stewardess: Yes.
Sophie: Okay. I will take ome.

Picking up at the airport

C- Would you be able to pick me up at the airport next Sunday?

A- Sure, I would be happy to help you. What time are you arriving?
C- I will be arriving at 3:00 in the afternoon.
A- By the time you pick up your luggage, it will be around 3:30. What if I meet you
outside at the curb?
C- That would be a good time to meet, but what if I'm running late?
A- I can track your plane online. I can just put in the flight number and I can see if you
are on time.
C- Can you make sure that you have your cell phone with you so I can call you?
A- Yes, that would be a good idea.
C - If something happens and you can't make it, just let me know and I'll book a Super
Shuttle.
A-Don't worry. I'll be able to pick you up.
