Course Objectives:
To enable the students to gain experience of proper History taking, assessment, differential diagnosis and plan of treatment

Pre-requisites:  Knowledge of basic Physiotherapy Fundamentals.

Course Contents/Syllabus:

Module I: CLINICAL TRAINING 100%
 Minimum 30 case sheets of different types of diagnosis (for eg: fracture, sprain, back ache, stroke, etc) to be submitted at the end of
the year.

 History, Assessment & Examination, Forecast of Recovery, Method of Treatment, treatment planning should be clearly documented
and presented in the classroom.

Student Learning Outcomes:


On completion of this course the student should be able to

 Demonstrate proper assessment skills and conclude a differential diagnosis


Illustrate strong knowledge of Physical Treatment and be able to devise treatment plan for the patient.
Pedagogy for Course Delivery:
The clinical training will be done in different hospitals and students will be assessing patients using knowledge based on theory and case based method.
In addition to assigning the case studies, the course instructor will spend considerable time in understanding the concept of patient assessment &
examination. The instructor will cover the ways to differentially diagnose using clinical, diagnostic & examination techniques

 PRACTICAL EXAMINATION WILL BE DONE AS PER THE ELCTIVE SPECIALITY AND CASES GIVEN.
