ABSTRACT
[about your project]
As the amount of urban vehicle grows rapidly, vehicle theft has become a shared
concern for all citizens. However, present anti-theft systems lack the tracking and monitoring
function. The vehicle anti-theft tracking system based on the Wireless Sensor Network i.e.
the Bluetooth used in mobile devices.
This system uses android mobile phones as mobile terminal, which is more
convenient and flexible than other kinds of devices since the owner can check and track the
position of the vehicle immediately with the android mobile phone application. In this project
the vehicle will have an embedded system which detects for the Bluetooth connection of the
owner of the vehicle once the engine has been started. If it gets the required connection from
the owner of the vehicle it understands that the owner has switched the engine on.
If the embedded system does not detect the required Bluetooth connectivity then it
will be someone else who has turned the engine and the GSM module will send
the location information obtained by GPS module to the owner's mobile phone, thus owners
can check the position of the vehicle. Through the proposed system theft of vehicles can be
avoided.
