5) Beliefs and Religion
a. Were they polytheistic people?
YES, THEY Were. THEY BELIEVED IN MANY GODS AND GODDESSES

They WORSHIPED gods and goddesses from nature, especially the sun and
animals

c. What did Egyptians think about the afterlife?

They BELIEVED in the LIFE AFTER DEATH. So, the BODY was mummified.
And, they put food, water treasure, gold, mummified pets and ships in the tombs

In 1279 bc, 44 years after Tutankhamen died, another pharaoh took the throne. This king
