Barbara Russell is the ex-wife of D.B. Russell in

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. The two later
divorced at some point before his transfer to CSI:
Cyber.

Season Twelve

Homecoming

Barbara was Arst seen in the episode

Homecoming, although she has been mentioned
repeatedly through-out season twelve, constantly
calling Russell to see if he is doing well. In
Homecoming, she was invited as a guest to attend
a campaign dinner for the SheriE along with
Russell and the rest of the CSI team.

Later on the during the episode, her

granddaughter Kaitlyn Russell, is kidnapped under
the orders of JeErey McKeen due to the fact
Russell and Conrad Ecklie killed his son because
he was a dangerous suspect.

Season Thirteen

Karma to Burn

After the events of the episode, Barbara goes to

Seattle to help Maya and her family move in there.

Pick and Roll

CSI: Cyber

Barbara never appears physically in the spin-oE

but D.B. mentions that at some point between the
murder of Julie Finlay and Why-Fi, he and Barbara
divorced. It is never revealed why the two ended
their marriage but it is likely a result of the latter's
mourning of Julie and his desire to work with
Avery Ryan in the FBI while Barbara wished to
return to Seattle.
