PRONOUNS.

MONDAY 29TH, JUNE:

1. TODAY, WE WILL WORK WITH PRONOUNS. READ THE INFORMATION THAT APPEARS
BELOW AND THEN DO THE ACTIVITIES.
WE WILL CORRECT THE ACTIVITIES IN OUR FRIDAY ZOOM MEETING.

3. Do you know when do we use each pronoun? Have a look at the information that
appears below:
PERSONAL PRONOUNS: They can be the subject of a sentence or clause (I-WE-YOU-
THEY-SHE-HE-IT)
SHE IS TEN YEARS OLD.
THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS.

SUBJECTIVE PRONOUNS: They are often found at the beginning of a sentence. The
subject of a sentence is the person or thing that lives out the verb.
HE AND I HAD A FIGHT.
TO EVERYBODY, I AM NOTHING.

OBJECTIVE PRONOUNS: They come after verbs or prepositions (to – with – for – at –
on – beside – under – around – etc) They are used as the DIRECT OBJECT OR INDIRECT
OBJECT of a verb.
