Lesson Aims: At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:

 make predictions about them in the future;


 use Will/ Won`t in different types of exercises
 develop their English skills
 express a future activity.

Materials: Poster, laptop, textbooks, notebooks, board


Techniques: Exposing, conversation, fill in exercises, explanation, matching exercises, picture
dialogues, role-play, guessing game

Anticipated problems:
- some pupils might feel nervous and reluctant to participate in the activity, thus they may need
assistance/help.

WARM UP
AIM *creating a pleasant atmosphere for the English class;

PROCEDURE *T asks Ss How are you today? / Is anybody absent? / Are you ready
to start the English class?; The teacher checks if all Ss are present.
The Teacher checks Ss` homework. Then Ss will listen to a song

PROCEDURE * After they have listened to the song, the teacher asks the children if
they think they will go to Brazil or the topic of the lesson is related to
Brazil. Ss can give different answers. Then, the Teacher will show a
picture of Erlina and her friends and says to the Ss that they will have
a stop first because they have to help Erlina. The Teacher announces
the new topic of the lesson – Helping Erlina and asks Ss to open their
textbooks on page 42.
Also, the Teacher announce the lessons aims using a suitable language
for Students to understand.

3. GRAMMAR

PROCEDURE
The Teacher will write an example (or
many) on the board and ask the Ss to guess the
meaning. Depending on the Ss answer, the
Teacher will draw a time line and will give them
further information.
After that, T will ask the Ss again about the
meaning of WILL in the sentence(s).
Then T will clearly explain the meaning and the
uses of Will- to express future activities, make
predictions.

PROCEDURE The children are going to play a guessing game, allowing them to
improve their vocabulary and practice will structure in the same time

There are ten rounds in the game. Each round shows students a future
simple tense sentence with a word missing. The students will then see
an image hidden behind some colored shapes. As the shapes disappear,
students must try to guess what the word is to complete the sentences.
