DB-10 Plug Usage

RUN BP Dummy
1. RIH Wire Scratcher to clear the depth of BP Setting Depth at 3426-3430 mBRT
2. RIH 3.6" bridge plug dummy down to 3440 mBRT.

SL To set DB-10 Using ISO Setting Tool

1.Perform setting and function test of ISO Easy Set setting tool, battery program :
3-4 hrs (datasheet attached).
2.Make up 3.56" Weatherford DB-10 Plug with ISO Easy Set setting tool.
3.RIH RB + EasySet Setting Tool + 3.5" OD DB-10 and stationed the assy at 3426
mBRT.
4.Set DB-10 plug at 3426 mBRT.
5.Perform negative test by bleeding off 300 psi from previous WHSIP. Observe 30
mins.
6.Pull out 5-10 mtrs the setting tool assy and observed the overpull indication.
7.Re tag the plug at 3426 mBRT
8.POOH the setting tool assy to surface

EL Set Owen Premium BP

1.Rig up Electricline PCE and perform pressure test as per procedure

2.RIH and set 3.5" Owen Premium Plug at 3426 mBRT
3.Monitor cable tension and well pressure during setting.
4.Perform negative test by bleeding off 300 psi from previous WHSIP. Observe 30
mins.
5.Rig Down EL PCE

SL Peak Permanent Plug

1.Set 2.720" Peak Permanent Plug at XXXXXX mBRT.

Note:
- Maximum tools OD: xxxxx" To set in 3.050 " Max id
- Preparation:
a. Ensure minimum of 10 ft. of 1.875 stem or 8ft of 2.125" stem and 30"
Long-Stroke Spang Jars are incorporated in the toolstring.
b. Install the Permanent Plug into the Lubricator, taking care to ensure
SIM Running Tool J is in RIH position.
If the SIM Running Tool Slips activate, simply pick-up and rotate the J
back to RIH position.
- RIH:
a. RIH Permanent Plug at no more than 60 m/minute taking care at
SSSV/TRSCSSV , Nipple & Other Restrictions
Hanging-up on restrictions and sitting-down heavily on the Permanent
Plug may activate the J mechanism on the SIM Running Tool and prematurely set the
Plug.
b. Should the Permanent Plug hang-up when RIH, stop and pick-up the
toolstring weight only and continue to RIH.
- Set the plug:
a. Run-down 10 ft [3 m] past the setting depth and pick-up to 2 ft [0.6 m]
above the setting depth.
- Ensure pick-up weight is recorded at this stage.
- In order to land the tool, sit-down using moderate line speed.
- If the desired depth is not attained, simply repeat the process
until correct setting depth is reached.
b. During the first 5 jars ( Please do not exceed 5 Jars), ensure Spang
Jars do not fully open by performing only halfstroke jars.
Opening Spang Jars fully may lead to releasing the Slips on the SIM
Running Tool from the tubing wall and the Permanent Plug will RIH.
After the initial jarring and Permanent Plug Slips have expanded, full
use of the Spang stroke is required to set the Plug and compress the Sealing
Element.
This must be strictly adhered to. Failure to follow this jar-down
instruction (too many half-stroke jars) may cause the SIM Running Tool Collet to
disengage and
not transmitting the jarring force towards Plug setting, resulting in
SIM Plug Setting downhole failure.
c. Jar-down minimum 20 times and set the Permanent Plug, Take minimum 200
lbs overpull to ensure the plug is set properly

2. Ensure the plug integrity by inflow test & pressure test

-Perform inflow test by bleed off tubing pressure then observe for 60 minutes to
ensure plug integrity, please refer to MHK-ENTY-SOP-WCI-WLI-0027 for leak criteria
to define the result. If the Inflow test not feasible, proceed to Pressure test.
(Please record any changes per 15 minutes)
