IQRA ACADEMY SCHOOL

Organization’s introduction

Iqra academy school is a well reputed school established in 2002 as a teaching institute

where the lessons of world and Islamic education both goes by hand in hand it is registered in

Punjab board of education and providing education at different platforms of life.

Overview of the organization:

It is working under the supervision of many trustable teachers and other working staff. it

was established by professor hafiz Muhammad Jamil Abbasi. it has different branches

working accordingly in different cities of Pakistan. The institute is also giving Islamic

education and allow 1200 hafiz Quran to pass from institute where they can do their

academics as well qur’anic education. Its main campus is in Rawalpindi. And four other

campuses in different cities of Pakistan.

Main features of iqra academy school:

• To provide quality education

• To give qur’anic and scientific knowledge.

• To give confidence to their students

• To promote Quranic knowledge

• To spread their mission all over the country

Plan of internship programme:

Iqra academy is providing with yearly internship programme to undergraduates and

intermediate students and has also launched internship programs for the students to make

them able to work specially for the dissemination of knowledge, As I study in international

Islamic university, I selected iqra academy school to know and understand official

community I thought it’s better to study to their community help them run more decently and

efficiently .So I planned to help them in whole positive way in all official works whatever

they ask me to. I hope to gain knowledge about walkability, which is an importable public

health issue because of the impact that it has on my community (physical health and

environmental health). I plan to develop survey/evaluation and health communication writing

skills so that I can improve my chances of getting a job with a public health non-profit after

graduation. I plan to increase my public dealing skills. I plan to develop the experience of

internship fruitful and helpful and plan to explore with peoples of this organization. I panned

to work with them as an educational psychologist and provide their student with good well-

being.

Learning experience

I did my internship at iqra academy school from 16 march to 20 April on two working days. I

used to go to university from 9 am to 2pm during off days from university as the classes’

timings were on Monday Tuesday I worked with full energy, confidence, enthusiasm, and

regularity. As my internship plan was to help in any positive way and to bring positive

changes in organization. So, I learned and gained experience in a positive way. As most of

my internship work was to help people in different task. I used to work what they gave to
me, and I always respond them in a positive way. By dealing them I developed More

Empathetic personality, self-confidence, improvement in speaking skills leadership skills,

problem solving skills learn to be patient, more co-operative. As I did some official work on

official computer, I learn organizational processes very well. We also arrange a well-being

center in school for the educational psychology center. I also work with them as a team and

participate in meeting to give them positive advice my learning experience as the result of

internship was fruitful. Most of the time I used to work in admin and teaching faculty

department. I learned how to behave when you are handling different task post so I learned

some official rules that will be helpful for me whenever I will at my official job in my future.

SWOT ANALYSIS:

Strengths of organization:

As doing the internship in iqra academy school. I found following Strengths that are given

below:

• The concept of providing with mandatory qur’anic education.

• They were very open to new internees

• They provide good guidelines to staff

• They have good grip on disciplinary activities

• They happily assign work to internees

• They are very creative in their activities

• School environment was clean

• They were not very strict towards new staff and internees
Weaknesses of organization:

As doing the internship in iqra academy school. I found following weaknesses that are given

below:

• The building of organization was small and not very up to date

• Less technological tools were used

• Attendance of staff was low at some point

• Salary giving is mostly late

• Not very efficient administration

• No cafeteria

Opportunities:

• new commers and undergraduates can easily get internships

• many students who want to go madrassa and leave their academics can come to this

school and continue both studies.

psychological assessment:

As I did my internship for 7 weeks at starting days, I was very shy in school environment in

public dealing and doing formal administrational work and activity arranging, some official

works. we established a well-being center for both students and teaching staff and do some

relaxation techniques and find out that teachers were more burn out then the students.

Recommendation and improvement:

We can recommend suggestions when we know something clearly not only strengths, but

weaknesses so based on weaknesses, these are the following recommendations for the

employees and officers that are given below:

• building should be shifted to some more attractive place

• young and fresh graduates should work only under the supervision of coordinator

• make employees confident

• bimonthly training sessions should be done

• Saturday should be off

Conclusion:

Doing internship was great idea of our university it helps me in many areas to explore in

many areas of education it can give me experiences and I done my activities or internship

efficiently. I used to go to university from Monday to Tuesday as the classes’ timings

were for the whole day and did my internship on Wednesday Thursday from 9am to 3pm.

I worked with full energy, confidence, enthusiasm, and regularity. As my internship plan

was to help in any positive way and to bring positive changes in organization as by being

part of organization it was a great experience, I took from iqra academy school, So I

learned and gained experience in a positive way. As most of my internship work was

doing different task used to come in staff room meeting room with different creative ideas

on 2 days week different problems were they’re some of them faces the problems related

to upcoming reading competition. It was also difficult for me to talk with the principal of

school as he is an old school thought processing person. By dealing with him developed

more self-confidence, improvement in speaking skills, leaders hip skills, problem solving

skills, learn to be patient, and become creative. I learn more cooperative. style As I did
some official work on more of the organizational experience as the result of internship

process.so my learning was fruitful. I learned how to be you are at any specific official

post have when so I learned some official rules that will be helpful for me whenever I will

at my official job in my future.
