Problem Statement -
Datrimatrix is the annual business analytics festival hosted by Analytica, the business analytics
cell at SBM. Every year the festival is getting bigger and better, with a full day of events packed
with learning, networking, and competition. The day will kick off with a keynote address from a
leading expert in the field of business analytics. Then, attendees will have the opportunity to
attend a variety of workshops and panels on topics such as data mining, machine learning,
artificial intelligence and data visualization. Datrimatrix’s main attraction is its offering of a variety
of competitive events that caters to all levels of expertise.

1.) Consider yourself a member of Analytica - Business Analytics Pod, and your goal is to
enhance the Business Analytics Fest “Datrimatrix'' by introducing a new event. The
competition attracts participants from various backgrounds, including Business,
Analytics, statistics, and engineering. As the organizing committee, you want to ensure
that the event is Engaging, Educational, creative, and aligns with the club's objectives.
Clearly define the theme, format, audience, evaluation criteria, and resources needed to
conduct the event.
2.) Sponsorship is crucial to covering event costs, providing resources for participants, and
enhancing the overall experience. Identify the potential sponsorship opportunities for the
event you have proposed. Identify at most three sponsors for the proposed event, and
identify the contacts in the sponsorship organization whom you will approach for the
sponsorship. Proper reasoning for selecting the companies and their contact person
should be mentioned in the PPT. The LinkedIn profile link for the contact person should
also be mentioned in it. Do note that the sponsorship organization and contact person
you are mentioning should be real. The more practical the strategies, the more weight
will be given since the evaluation will be done accordingly.
3.) Identify the potential issue that can occur in conducting the event and propose at most
two different solutions to handle it. The more difficult the problem addressed, the more
weight will be given since the evaluation will be done accordingly.

Kindly do your research from our Social Media handles, amongst other sources, about
Datrimatrix to get a gist of the event.
