VSC40 Firmware Upgrade Instructions

1, if the Program and instructions were sent via Email extract the contents and copy to a
CD. You should have the following 1] Bootloader.exe 2] VSC40 Firmware Upgrade
Instructions

2, Double click on the “Bootloader.exe” on the desktop and the window below will
open

3, Important: Make sure the VSC40 is switched “OFF”

4, From the V4Plus menu, “use Open HEX file” to select/browse for the updated HEX
file on the desk if sent or use the existing one located within C:/VSC.
5] Browse to the following location C:/VSC and locate “VSC40.hex” and select.

6] Select “Firmware Upgrade”

7] Once the dialogue below appears follow the instructions exactly.

8] Click “OK” and then switch the VSC40 ON making sure the USB cable from the PC
is connected to the VSC40

9] Once the firmware starts to program a progress bar should be visible as shown
below. At this point it’s also possible the program may stop responding, if this is the
case just allow it to recovery.
10] Once completed the following message will appear, select OK

THE FIRMWARE WILL NOW BE UPGRADED AND THE VSC40 IS READY TO USE.
