Combating the crime of recruiting children at the International Criminal Court

Abstract:
The international community has made its efforts to counter the phenomenon of the
recruitment of children and their participation in armed conflicts and considered it a war
crime under Article 8, paragraph B-26, of the statute of the International Criminal Court,
which recognized that the recruitment of children is a criminal act that entails the
establishment of international criminal responsibility for its perpetrators and is subject to
judicial follow-up regardless of their official character or to invoke compliance with the
president's orders Phenomenon, from among the months of the issues brought to the
International Criminal Court regarding the recruitment of children spent Democratic
Republic of the Congo and Darfur.
