Project Proposal:

HOTEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Background:
I have come to notice that there are several hotels who are using a manual file based system for
their processes. They are keeping a huge number of files to handle guest details, bills, inventory
items …. Etc.
Searching for a record in the file system is really hash, they are not well secured, they may get
damage due to fire or any other kind of disaster.
The project aimed to build a fully functional system in order to achieve the efficiency in the hotel
management. The overall mission of system development is to make the hotels staff can quickly
and easily complete the hotel management task.

Objectives:

 To reduced data redundancy of the hotels

 To backup and restores data of the hotels
 To save time for retrieving data of the hotels

Scope:
The fully functional database system is going to remedies the problems that the manual files system
facing the client and the hotels. After completing the project, hotels can easily and quickly complete
their management task efficiently.
